“Kate was exceptional as we had 9 women who arrived thinking we had reservations! I had made reservations in key largo!!! Kate immediately attended to us and quickly cleared and sat a table for 9, even though they were really busy. Brian was our server and handled our service and he was excellent as well. “La Norma Ristorante & Pizzeria was one of the highlights of our trip to Longboat Key! Every dish we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The Chicken Parmesan was perfectly crispy, topped with flavorful marinara, melted mozzarella, and served with fresh pasta that tasted homemade. The salmon piccata was cooked perfectly—tender, flaky, and covered in a rich lemon-caper sauce that paired wonderfully with the linguine. The grilled fish with pasta was fresh, light, and full of Mediterranean flavors, and even the kids’ meal came with generous portions of crispy chicken tenders and fries that our little one loved.
The service was exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxing, and perfect for a family dinner or a date night.“

“I had the cheesesteak sub a few days ago and it was killer!! Being from Jersey, it’s difficult to find a good one around here. It was a huge sandwich and prepared perfectly. I would have taken a picture but I wolfed it down before I thought of it. I’ll be back… next time I’m getting gelato!“

“Absolutely love it here… The pasta, sauces, and dressings are all homemade. The pizza with their homemade dough is phenomenal… which also comes in a gluten-free option, for those of you… My favorite thing about this whole place is the server and manager, Johnathin. He brings a personal and enjoyable experience every time. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend.“

“The service, the food, the festive and fun environment! We were here years ago and ate here two days in a row. We had a large party and were celebrating a birthday for this evening. Our server and food runner were both amazing. We ended up meeting the chef and she was phenomenal as well! By the time we left, we had a ‘family’ photo taken with all three staff we met. So thankful for the fun night! Will definitely be back!“

“I celebrated my birthday at this quaint and unique space last month, and have been back several times since.
Meaghan, the owner, is friendly, accommodating, and a lovely person to chat with.
We have tried just about everything on their food menu, as well as sampled many of their wines. Everything we tried we loved!
We particularly enjoyed the Lola Pinot Noir. As we learned, Lola, is the label of her brother's vineyard in the Sonoma Valley.
Don't expect over-the-top service, expect excellent food, excellent wine, and excellent conversation.
Just love this place! Supporting local restauranteurs is so important. Keep the national chains from absorbing or forcing the mom and pops out.

“we are having a 'staycation' of sorts to visit Anna Maria Island Beach, and I have to stay, after walking to 5(!) restaurants and being turned away, this amazing restaurant allowed me and my family of 5 to stay. Not only did they welcome us, Doug, our server, laughed with my kiddos, treated us like we were royalty and made our little staycation dinner- well...amazing. This is the kind of place that makes a city it resides in..PROUD. The food was nothing short of amazing, I am celiac and struggle on vacations, knowing where to eat. Thankful to God, that this chef is gluten intolerant - so I could eat just about everything on the menu. Do not be discouraged..they might not have a kids menu, but that did not stop Chateau 13 from editing any dish they were interested in to make them smile. I thought they were going to make me order another side of 'frites' to go!“

“WE HAD A WONDERFUL LUNCH AT THE GREEN ORCHID ON JULY 2ND 2026. THE SETTING WAS PERFECT, AMBIANCE EXCELLENT, AND WE APPRECIATED THE SERVICE OF OUR SERVER, ASHLEY, WHO WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND COURTEOUS. “We hosted a 40-guest private event at Cafe Amici, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was amazing, everything ran smoothly, and the staff was friendly, professional, and efficient throughout the night. I had to leave a bit early, and the staff was kind enough to neatly place my decorations together so I could easily pack them up the next day, which I truly appreciated. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to host our event. Highly recommend Cafe Amici for any private party or special occasion“
