“We are from Tampa and came to Sarasota just for a couple of days to celebrate Valentine’s. Andrei!!! the waitress was awesome, he knew the menu and was able to recommend different alternatives, food was delicious and service was great, definitely coming back. “We had dinner at Siegfried's Restaurant on Feb. 26th - our third meal there and we always leave with big smiles on our faces. The schnitzel and sauerbraten are both excellent, as are the sides and desserts. The staff is warm and engaging and we were so happy to meet and speak with the chef/owner. The restaurant is in one of the cozy-looking cottages on Fruitville Rd and is the perfect setting for this authentic German restaurant. “Went twice last week while on vacation. Our first order was awesome, generous portions and food was excellent. Our second time ordering, we went to pick-up and waited while other people received their orders who came in after us. After seeing this, we asked again about our order and it was left sitting in the back for about 15 min. Gave it to us, with no other exchange. Buns were soggy and chips a bit over-done, which was a bit of a bummer.“

I have got to attempt making rice tots. Great wine list too. We liked it so much that we did a delivery a few days later, and it was amazingly fast. Very creative sushi. And we took home the blueberry cheesecake, so decadent. What a lovely downtown Sarasota has.“

You’d be surprised with how large the menu is and how much they have to offer.
Even on weekends and with larger crowds service is fast, the food is fresh and they have a great selection of drinks and beverages.
The vermicelli is favorite, always great.“

We ordered fried oysters, French fries, and cheese grits, and everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender and flavorful inside. The cheese grits were just the way I like them—nice and thick—and the fries were a great complement to the meal. Even better, our food arrived quickly and fresh. Our waitress, Lilly, was fantastic, providing friendly and attentive service. We also appreciated how the rest of the staff greeted us warmly as we walked through the restaurant. It’s little details like that that make a place feel extra welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms, which is always a big plus. Anna Maria Oyster Bar now has four locations, and after this experience, I’d definitely visit again. “Love Pazzo. We have dinner here multiple times. We have sat inside and on their lovely patio which is reminiscent of a Piazza in Italy. The food is reasonable, and yummy always. Service is great, with the owner typically there and greeting guests which is nice. The only negative I would share is that they do not use fresh grated Parmesan which is just plain cutting $$. It is nice to have fresh grated Parmesan offered and sprinkled on Italian dishes versus being given a glass shaker jar with cheap cheese. It's actually the only Italian restaurant we go to that does this. Hopefully, they'll change to real Parmesan served as fresh grated at request.“
