We both had the branzino & putannesca which was amazing. Fish cooked perfectly, they easily accommodated her gluten-free request, and the sauce was delicious. Perfect service by Paula. Cannot wait to return next week, bringing family coming to Longboat for the first time.“

“Meal was great. Susan was awesome. One of our meals came a late to the table. Manager wanted to comp a dessert as an apology. We obliged him but 20 min later after we had already paid and decided to leave we were still waiting for the dessert. I appreciate the mangers effort, but if wanting to recover the feeling of waiting, maybe stay on the ticket that you’re comping.Susan again was awesome. Meals were also great. Manager could use some work. Had we not waited for the dessert I would have rated the experience higher.“

“We went to this restaurant for my daughters birthday. She had been there previously for her husband‘s birthday, so she wanted to go back for hers. All in all the service was excellent, very attentive. I can’t say I wasn’t happy with my food because he asked my daughter if she wanted her steak medium rare that she had and he didn’t ask me if I wanted my steak on my Noodles meet them where are we are done so when it came, it was medium rare I can’t eat me to where I feel like blood in my mouth so I asked him to go back and make it well done so they actually went back and literally bought the meat to every bite that I took take it tasted like burnt grill Choco pie crispy very unhappy with my meal very dissatisfied but other than that my daughter like to hurtful my son-in-law like this food oh my granddaughter, she did not eat her food but all in all it was OK experience just not happy with my food“

“We found this little place on line and were missing our Greek places from back in NY. We picked a day that someone hit a power pole so no lights. That did not stop them from serving, all but the soda machine. Amazing Gyro and Chicken Slovakia. Our server was a sweetheart and made sure everyone was taken care. “I recently visited Eleni's Pizza Works and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my dining experience. I ordered the classic gyro platter with a Caesar salad on the side. What I really appreciated was the fact that I could choose any salad of my choice to go with my platter, which gave me the freedom to customize my meal to my liking. The gyro platter itself was fantastic - the meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the pita bread was fresh and warm. “Love the staff, food and location. That being said, we came here 3 times in a week. Twice for breakfast and once for lunch - each time with our dog. The breakfasts are really good: Denver omelette with their potatoes, avocado toast, even their grits are tasty. They have biscuits for the dogs as well as a fresh water bowl… what’s not to like? We come here three to four times a year every time we come on vacation in Sarasota and I’ve never had more of a consistently perfect meal anywhere. Prime rib is literally perfection. “Went to Bavaro’s tonight for dinner and can’t say enough good things. The ambiance, the service was top notch, the chairs so comfortable and the food was absolutely delicious. Our server Steven (I hope that was his name) was beyond professional and I couldn’t ask for better. Prices are fair and the wine list is inviting. We started with the fire grilled broccolini which was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Had a lovely super Tuscan with my penne with vodka sauce and shrimp. You could literally taste every delicious layer of flavor in this sauce. My boyfriend had the wild grilled salmon and we split the roasted broccolini for an appetizer. Completed with two home made delicious cannoli’s to go. The salmon but it was cooked perfectly and a huge piece of salmon (like 8oz) Will definitely be back and absolutely encourage anyone looking for real authentic Italian to check it out.“

Highly recommend sitting at the outdoor patio.Parking: Unlike many restaurants in this area, this place actually has 10-15 spaces which they share with the My Village Pub. Early in the morning there are usually spaces, but these fill quickly as the day goes on. Get there early, or take the free trams to breakfast.“

“Lovely little place. They have a small store when you come in so you can purchase small specialty items.The staff was friendly and helpful. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich and real hand cut fries. Perfect. The sandwich was quite large and more than enough for me to have half of it for lunch the next day. The leftovers were as good as the original and left me wanting more.I will go back and am already recommending my friends give it a try.“

“I have mixed feelings. The Burrito: It is definitely not “huge” - it is an average size (I have a small hand) and I was not full after eating it. The server was so stingy on the ingredients she put literally a SPRINKLE of cheese and half a scoop of chicken. It was mostly rice and beans. The BYO Quesadilla: It had BARELY any cheese… this should absolutely not be called a Quesadilla but rather just a pressed taco. The flavor wasn’t bad but this is by no means a real Quesadilla. The Taco: flavor was good, but there was hardly any protein in it. Overall, I didn’t dislike my meal - it was slightly above average in taste. But the items are misleading and the portions are small for the price. I won’t be returning but if you want some quick Mexican, I wouldn’t discourage you from coming here - it was alright.“

“Great Happy Hour If you can score a seat at the bar or at a table in the bar area and it’s before 5:45pm, you can get a great deal. Drinks, including their house cocktails and most of their wines, are half off. There’s a nice list of small plates at excellent prices that are also available. We started with a couple of good cocktails. Then we shared the delicious happy hour fried shrimp. We followed that with the happy hour mussels—one of the best bowl of mussels I’ve had in a while. It was served with a basket of bread that was perfect to sop up the lovely mussel broth. Next we had the happy hour ceviche which was a generous serving and really tasty. We moved off the happy hour menu to get the Monkfish, which is discounted in the early evening. You don’t see monkfish on menus very often, and this one was very good. It comes with a soup or salad and we chose the delicious clam chowder. The plate it nicely composed with a starch and veg accompanying the monkfish. A shout out to our server, Barbara, who was very kind, helpful and efficient and moved us along at a pleasant, unrushed pace. We enjoyed our dinner very much and we hope to return.“
