My husband and I enjoyed dinner overlooking Sarasota Bay on Easter Sunday. The weather was perfect and we were lucky enough to get a table under cover outdoors. The food was delicious and service very good. Reservations are very difficult to get during the most popular dinner hours but Dry Dock welcomes walk-ins too which is what we did. Possibly because it was Easter we were seated within 5 minutes. Even if you have a longer wait the food and views are worth it.
Overlooking Sarasota Bay, is this amazing restaurant with both outdoor and indoor seating. There are boat slips as well, for boaters looking for a meal. There might be a wait as this is an amazing place that everyone wants to go to! They take your name and give you a pager until your table is called. The food , service and atmosphere are wonderful. Dry Dock is consistently a great place to get a well-prepared lunch or dinner and the service is friendly without being intrusive. Being on the water (where we experienced a whole pod of dolphins swimming by our window seat) is just an extra inducement to visiting there.Parking: Limited and hard to get in and out of, if you go too far and haven't found a spot, you are forced to back yourself all the way out because there is no turnaround.
