“We are from Tampa and came to Sarasota just for a couple of days to celebrate Valentine’s. Andrei!!! the waitress was awesome, he knew the menu and was able to recommend different alternatives, food was delicious and service was great, definitely coming back. My husband and I did not have a reservation but we were able to wait for a table at the bar which was also good 😊“

“We had dinner at Siegfried's Restaurant on Feb. 26th - our third meal there and we always leave with big smiles on our faces. The schnitzel and sauerbraten are both excellent, as are the sides and desserts. The staff is warm and engaging and we were so happy to meet and speak with the chef/owner. The restaurant is in one of the cozy-looking cottages on Fruitville Rd and is the perfect setting for this authentic German restaurant. Be sure you make a reservation and be prepared to enjoy a fantastic German meal!“

“Der Dutchman in Sarasota is a gem. The food is hearty, fresh, and consistently delicious — especially the fried chicken and homemade pies. “I ordered the pad see eew with chicken and it was amazing! We also had a Florida roll and it was so fresh and delicious. For desert we had mango sticky rice and coconut ice cream which I highly recommend. Nudee was our server and she was so attentive and friendly! Will definitely be coming back very soon :)“

“The food and service did not disappoint. My wife had the mahi tuna salad. It was excellent and crunchy as described on the menu I had scallops. They were perfectly cooked and very tender. Service was very good. Everything arrived timely hot, and the waiter did not hover have eaten at hundreds of restaurants and this is one of the better onesnot exceptionally expensive and in a mall but quite good food and service and I highly recommend.“

“Beautiful romantic upscale place is nearly all vegan with a few options for carnivores. This worked out well for my friend and me, and she loved all the things we tried. I have got to attempt making rice tots. Great wine list too. We liked it so much that we did a delivery a few days later, and it was amazingly fast. Very creative sushi. And we took home the blueberry cheesecake, so decadent. What a lovely downtown Sarasota has.“

“Charlie and his wife make you feel like you're a guest in a fun and fast-paced Korean home. We've been a couple of times now and this will definitely be a regular spot for us. We are vegan and vegetarian and there was plenty from which to choose. Prices are reasonable and portions are massive.“

“Went to dinner with family at the Carrabba’s on University. Teddy was our server and we was phenomenal. Service was prompt, he was attentive without hovering, and when we had a little mishap by way of a spilled glass of Sangria he took care of us immediately. Alex was our bartender and he’s got mad skills with a dirty martini. If you’re at this restaurant ask for these young men… You will not be disappointed!“

“I recently hosted a group dinner at the Mellow Mushroom in Sarasota for 80 Sarasota High School baseball players and their moms and it was AMAZING!!! Everyone had such a great time! “We had dinner last night and can’t stop talking about how much we enjoyed the food and service! We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and the host treated us to prosecco while we waited for our table. The filet, the halibut, the lobster tails, the desserts (especially the chocolate cake!) was all absolutely delicious!! Our server was wonderful as well! Very personable and had great menu recommendations. We will be back!!“

“We were there last evening for dinner. This location is much smaller than the one at UTC. Difficult to carry on a conversation even at a small table. Food was good and service was as well. Very busy and noisy for a Wednesday evening. We prefer a more intimate experience, as well as excellent food.“
