“It's rare to be able to walk into a place in America these days and immediately feel its warmth and welcome. This place is amazing. The owner/employees are so kind and warm, their greeting immediately recalibrates you to remember exactly what life is about - suddenly, I was making eye contact and smiling and feeling like I could slow down. Plenty of delicious, healthy juices, smoothies and drinks. But, most important of all, they had every indulgent food like pizza, pasta, or gyros, but the healthy vegan alternative, so I carried none of the guilt I usually do for wanting a pizza midday. The music is calm and low - think spa vibes, but with delicious juices, kind people, and healthy sustenance. You really feel like you're caring for yourself, and being cared for, while here.“

We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and the host treated us to prosecco while we waited for our table. “So delicious, everything is home made. It is a small intimate restaurant and the owners/chefs are so welcoming. The pasta is so delicious and the focaccia bread to the mussels appetizer to the lamb sauce over fettuccine was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The homemade mixture they serve with the bread is unlike anything we have ever had and it was their grandma’s recipe that made it extra special. I would suggest a reservation for this hidden gem!“

“The food and service did not disappoint. My wife had the mahi tuna salad. It was excellent and crunchy as described on the menu I had scallops. They were perfectly cooked and very tender. Service was very good. Everything arrived timely hot, and the waiter did not hover have eaten at hundreds of restaurants and this is one of the better onesnot exceptionally expensive and in a mall but quite good food and service and I highly recommend.“

“Root & Seed Cafe is absolutely my type of place! From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much heart and care goes into everything they do. The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the owners are truly such wonderful people.

From the cocktails that we drank to the lobster bisque and then we had grouper bites and lobster bites for appetizers. For dinner, my husband and I both had the seafood linguine with different sauces and it was good . The only thing I will mention is that the last time we ate there, my husband had the seafood linguine, and it was a lot different than what we had last night. The first time my husband had the seafood linguine, It was much more bigger shrimp and you could tell the seafood was a little bit more presentable. Whereas last night you could tell it was not as fresh, but I still give it five stars because everything was fantastic. I did not eat this last night but the last time I ate there, I had their grouper with the citrus sauce on it and that is the BEST I’ve ever had it. I highly recommend.!! We will be back again.“

I especially wanted to leave this review because they went above and beyond for my son's birthday. He had his heart set on their Cookies & Cream and Neapolitan cupcakes, and they made a special exception to make sure he got exactly what he wanted. That level of kindness and thoughtfulness meant more to our family than I can put into words.

The communication throughout the entire process was outstanding, and the care they put into our order truly made my son's birthday extra special. “We went to the location on Gandy Boulevard today. We were just passing by and saw it so looked up the menu online. At this particular location there was a kiosk to order and no indoor seating. There was a taphouse next-door that had outdoor seating so we grabbed a drink and ate our food there. The portions were large and everything was absolutely delicious!
