Starting with the incredibly festive decor of the Brickyard Plaza, overflowing into the restaurant, it was visually stunning. Upon our arrival we were told an hour wait at the most. We waited only twenty minutes for a table for five, and I very much appreciated the liberal wait time estimate. Had we been told twenty minute wait and waited thirty, we’d have been disappointed. Service was phenomenal: menu options were great, margaritas delicious, food runner got everyone’s dish to the correct person, and…WHO IS IN THE KITCHEN?!? 😮👏🏼 Well done!! “My husband works in Gulf Gate, just a few storefronts down from Clever Cup, and we have been getting coffee from here since they have opened. I can honestly say that I have NEVER had a bad experience and the coffee and baked goods are always delicious! The baristas are amazing and although we probably shouldn't have favorites, I simply adore Veronika and Karissa. The two of them are always ready with a smile, a cheerful, 'Good Morning!' and even if I've had an icky start to my day, the two of them are always able to brighten my mood and I wind up walking out with delicious coffee and a smile. We love to shop local and this is one of the places we will ALWAYS support. Thanks, Clever Cup, we love you! 🥰“

I complained to the hostess who took off our coffees. The waitress apologized for serving the other couple first. She didn't understand that we had waited an additional 20 minutes to PLACE our order. I never complain, I've been wait staff. The wait staff there has always been fabulous until today. She is clueless.“

Typically, he responds to meals out as "okay" or "good", so I asked how his meal was, and for the first time in our nearly 42 years of marriage, he said "fantastic!" This was the best filet mignon he's ever had. This was my second visit, and you just can't go wrong with the filet! Their heated plates keep the food hot and fresh through the whole meal, and that makes a huge difference! Simply yummy!“
