“We’ve been dining at Mi Pueblo Venice for eighteen years. Tonight’s experience surpassed every experience previously, even though we’ve always really enjoyed it. Starting with the incredibly festive decor of the Brickyard Plaza, overflowing into the restaurant, it was visually stunning. Upon our arrival we were told an hour wait at the most. We waited only twenty minutes for a table for five, and I very much appreciated the liberal wait time estimate. Had we been told twenty minute wait and waited thirty, we’d have been disappointed. Service was phenomenal: menu options were great, margaritas delicious, food runner got everyone’s dish to the correct person, and…WHO IS IN THE KITCHEN?!? 😮👏🏼 Well done!! “My husband works in Gulf Gate, just a few storefronts down from Clever Cup, and we have been getting coffee from here since they have opened. I can honestly say that I have NEVER had a bad experience and the coffee and baked goods are always delicious! The baristas are amazing and although we probably shouldn't have favorites, I simply adore Veronika and Karissa. The two of them are always ready with a smile, a cheerful, 'Good Morning!' and even if I've had an icky start to my day, the two of them are always able to brighten my mood and I wind up walking out with delicious coffee and a smile. We love to shop local and this is one of the places we will ALWAYS support. Thanks, Clever Cup, we love you! 🥰“

“Jeremy the host was very welcoming and explained the difference between the dining room upstairs and the tavern/bar downstairs. This was our first visit and he suggested upstairs. We were sat at a lovely table outside overlooking the water. Our waitress Becky was very attentive professional and pleasant. The food did take longer than expected but overall the quality was very good.“

Mondays from 5:30 to 8:30 you’ll hear the whiskey-voiced singer-pianist Joe Thayer, who plays jazz standards, soft & classic rock, and a few pop tunes. Food’s excellent…lots of choices & a few daily specials—which sometimes go fast. Can get busy during the season…best to reserve in advance. Great place for holidays if you don’t want to cook!“

“Waited at least 20 minutes for a table outside. They were crowded as usual. Waited 5 minues for Jennifer to bring us coffee and water. She said she'd be right back for order. 15 minutes later others were seated, and actually served. Our waitress rook the order fir a couple who had just been seated and then took ours. I complained to the hostess who took off our coffees. The waitress apologized for serving the other couple first. She didn't understand that we had waited an additional 20 minutes to PLACE our order. I never complain, I've been wait staff. The wait staff there has always been fabulous until today. She is clueless.“

They’re great at communicating with each other and getting orders out in a timely manner. Even with a few ladies upset that a single smoothie was finished before their 4, the girls keep smiling and apologizing all while continuing to prep nonstop! Brunette and Blonde working Wednesday 12/29 around noon, kudos!“
