Therefore, no reservations showed when our party arrived. The host was icey, lacked empathy or understanding. He was extremely demeaning and haughty. Finally sat us at a table next to the kitchen which was appreciated. Our waiter was stellar and made everything feel friendly again. The food was outstanding......every course. Im a local for 48 years but the host made me feel like an idiot. Never smiled (not to anyone else arriving later). Maybe not the best first impression to offer your patrons.“

“We’ve been to oak and stone downtown many times, but Monday night on the rooftop was the best of our experiences here. We’ve tried to get what we could to accommodate everyone in the past.
Amanda was our server of me and 3 of and my girlfriends, and out of all of the drink, appetizer, entree, and dessert recommendations, we had the best experience we could have possibly had. I’m so glad we had her as our server because our experience was tailored to our gluten free, diabetic, and dairy free needs. It’s hard to go to a restaurant with all of us together and our dietary needs, but Amanda really helped us pick and choose what would work best for us. We really hope to see her next time we go, or else we really dont feel safe eating here without being absolutely sure our dietary needs will be taken care of. If you have very strict dietary needs due to allergies or intolerances, make sure to ask for her input on what you order. She said she’s been there a long time and knows what we can and can’t have so we were VERY confident ordering with her. We will all be back Monday night and we hope to have her as our server so that we can all order comfortably.“

“We visited Sushi Ramen AMI twice last week because food is so delicious. We tried miso pork ramen, spicy pork ramen, chicken fried rice, chicken curry and mango rice for desert. Everything was so flavorful and looked beautiful. May was very attentive and helpful with explaining dishes. The place is clean and nice, you can see a chef preparing fresh sushi. I highly recommend Sushi Ramen AMI.“

From the moment we walked in, his kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality made us feel like more than just customers… we felt like family. You can tell when someone truly cares, and Son is that rare kind of person who pours his heart into every guest’s experience.

Two years ago, I ate here for the first time… and ever since then, I have not been able to forget it. That taste stayed with me. That feeling stayed with me. I’ve been craving it for TWO YEARS. And today, I finally made the drive all the way from Bradenton just to come back — not knowing if it would still be the same… but hoping it would be.

And somehow… it was even better.

Son recommended the pho with beef bones, and I can honestly say — hand on my heart — it is the best pho I have EVER had in my life. The broth was so clear, so pure, so rich in flavor… yet so clean, with absolutely no unpleasant smell. Every sip felt comforting, like something made with patience, pride, and love. You don’t just taste this kind of food… you feel it.

My entire family was blown away. Every single person at the table couldn’t stop talking about how incredible everything was — from the fresh, perfectly made spring rolls to the variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes. And the staff? Just as amazing. So kind, so attentive, so genuine.

I’ve had pho all over the world — big cities, hidden gems, everywhere — and I can say without hesitation: this place is in my TOP 10 of all time. That’s not something I say lightly.

This isn’t just a restaurant. This is a place that leaves a mark on you. A place you think about long after you leave. A place you’ll drive miles and miles just to experience again.

Five stars isn’t enough. I would give this place 10 stars… 100 stars if I could.

“was recently at The Sand Bar for a beautiful and intimate wedding on a postcard perfect Friday night. I was not involved in the planning of this wedding leading up to that wonderful night but the Bride and Groom had nothing but good things to say about the staff here that assisted them in all their preparations. I met Bailey the day of the wedding and she was about the nicest person I have ever met. Her professionalism and organization made any help from us unnecessary. Bailey, Rick the bartender, the entire event staff, the restaurant staff and the vendors were all amazing and made the whole evening a wonderful, seamless affair for family and friends who all came out to celebrate this wonderful couple. I don’t know how they made it look so effortless and even special ordered us a perfect sunset! If you are thinking of having your special event here , you will not be disappointed. “The overall service use to be amazing at this Olive Garden. We have come here several times over the years and this is the worst front staff I’ve ever experienced. I checked in and was told it would be a 15 minute wait and told them that I had people coming but instead of seating us after 25 minutes passed I came up to ask the pregnant hostess if they were waiting for my party or something because we’ve been waiting and she was like oh yeah yeah we are without so much as looking at me or apologizing for the wait. There were several of them up there that were just laughing and joking around unprofessionally and the pregnant hostess was eating up there talking with the other ladies at the podium while they ignored us. She disappeared completely for several minutes and after 30 minutes I asked a girl who showed up if we were going to be seated because my party was waiting. She said she would check because she just got there. She went to find the pregnant hostess and told her we were waiting 30 minutes and my daughter overheard her denying it. I’m just not used to that at any restaurant. If you tell me 15 minutes and it’s not busy in there then we have better be seated whether we are waiting for people to arrive or not. It put me in such a terrible mood that I wanted to leave but thankfully our waiter came right away and was amazing. He was very attentive and kind and I felt he deserved a good tip. What made me write this review was when we left there were a gaggle of women at the front with the pregnant hostess and we all noticed that they just stared at us and didn’t say the usual thank you have a good night. No one bothered to politely open the door like they have always done for us in the past. You just knew that they we’re talking bad about you. If this is what this Olive Garden restaurant is turning into then I have to stop coming. I don’t know what’s up with those women but this is their place of work not a place to gossip and bullshit about their life or talk shit about their paying customers who are there to be treated with some measure of respect and kindness when they are out with their family for dinner. I hope a manager sees this review and addresses this issue of plain rudeness. We are also not white and so obviously white people were being treated better and seated immediately. By the way, our pregnant hostess was black but for some reason thinks it’s ok to be rude to us. If this ever happens to us again, a complaint will definitely be filed to your corporate management or the BBB. I will not tolerate this behavior in front of my family.“
