“stopped in for lunch today. the food was decent, needed more flavor for me. the service was lack luster. waited over ten minutes from time being seated with menus until a server came over to bring us water and see if we wanted anything else. the server returned a couple times, but then at the end was too involved with her cellphone at the service station. even to the point of taking it over to 2 other employees to see before realizing that we were growing inpatient with waiting for the check. overall I give it a 7/10.“

“We had such a great experience at Pizza Social that we went twice during our week-long vacation! Our first visit was on a Sunday evening, and they were very busy—it took about an hour to get our pizza during that peak time. But honestly, it was absolutely worth the wait. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. We came back again on Friday night, and it was much less crowded—our order was ready in about 35 minutes. We tried the AMI pizza, the barbecue chicken pizza, and a classic pepperoni, and every single one was delicious. The staff was also super friendly both times we picked up our order, which made the experience even better. Can’t say enough great things about the food here—definitely a must-visit if you’re on the island!“

“I had a health concern happen while I was entertaining myself and the locals with some guitar music, good conversation and lots of pool games. I got dehydrated and the paranoia set in hard. Luckily these folks are good people and all my belongings were kept, safely. When I got well and was able to retrieve them. I was well cared for and never made to feel unwelcome though I’m afraid I might have made a fool of myself. Maybe again some day without the dehydration? I hope so!“

We ordered fried oysters, French fries, and cheese grits, and everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender and flavorful inside. The cheese grits were just the way I like them—nice and thick—and the fries were a great complement to the meal. Even better, our food arrived quickly and fresh. Our waitress, Lilly, was fantastic, providing friendly and attentive service. We also appreciated how the rest of the staff greeted us warmly as we walked through the restaurant. It’s little details like that that make a place feel extra welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms, which is always a big plus. The food was beautifully prepared, fresh, and delicious, and the presentation made the evening feel like a true restaurant experience in our own vacation home. She was professional, warm, organized, and handled everything so we could simply relax and enjoy the night with our family.

It was such a treat to have appetizers followed by a lovely dinner without having to leave the house, especially while traveling with our grandson. Chef Melissa helped make an already special family weekend even more memorable.

“I celebrated my birthday at this quaint and unique space last month, and have been back several times since.
Meaghan, the owner, is friendly, accommodating, and a lovely person to chat with.
We have tried just about everything on their food menu, as well as sampled many of their wines. Everything we tried we loved!
We particularly enjoyed the Lola Pinot Noir. As we learned, Lola, is the label of her brother's vineyard in the Sonoma Valley.
Don't expect over-the-top service, expect excellent food, excellent wine, and excellent conversation.
Just love this place! Supporting local restauranteurs is so important. Keep the national chains from absorbing or forcing the mom and pops out.

AVOID ...NOT WORTH IT. Possibly the most overrated restaurant in an area of bad restaurants“
