“As a Philadelphia raised guy, I am super happy with the quality of the food and theme of the restaurant. My Pizza Steak Sandwich was great and we enjoyed the appetizers (Pretzels and Pierogis). This is my favorite sit down spot to visit when I go down to visit my families house on the island. Imported Amoroso Rolls makes the experience enhanced.Parking: When parking is available, it’s convenient. But when it is during busy hours it may become scarce.“

“Our family stopped by while on Spring Break, and we enjoyed the experience. I ordered the grouper tacos, which were large and tasty. Kids generally enjoyed their food. The ambiance was pleasant and fun. The bathrooms were gross and should have included a complimentary tetanus shot.“

“My family and I visited Bayshore Nutrition for the first time yesterday and were very pleased with the overall service and and experience as a whole. We were greeted upon walking in, she took our orders and made them, quite fast and accurately I might add, and then explained the benefits to each of our drinks, told us how many calories were in the smoothies, which I found really helpful as I am a person that tracks the calories I have each day so I really appreciated that. The smoothies were all REALLY GOOD, HEALTHY & BENEFICIAL. We agreed that we'd definitely be visiting again and soon!“
“It was mostly a good experience, but for some reason, the person at the Tiki bar felt that he had to first inform us of all the rules and things we can't do. After we finally got seated at the main bar for dinner, we had a great time!“

“My favorite coffee shop on the island I started my mornings with a short beach walk to the coffee shop, and the service was fast and the coffee was tasty. My favorite part are their straws - pieces of pasta noodles! A sustainable touch that is much appreciated when you're that close to the water.“
“The Campground, here at Fort DeSoto has to be one of the prettiest I have ever seen. Lush palm trees abound, giving the ample RV sites, really cool privacy. We have good water pressure and 50Amp electric.It's a sandy spot, and backing in around the trees, requires a little skill, but very worth while.“

“Really enjoyed our experience here. It was pretty when we went during spring break, but the lines moved pretty well and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Food was better than expected. Kids loved the all you can eat pancakes. Adults loved the yummy sandwiches.“

“This place claims to be the best burger place on the island. Although I beg to differ what they do have is an awesome atmosphere, great and personable staff, and overall good dive food. “AMI might be the best kept secret in all of FL. Having spent 11 days there over Xmas/NY, we were so happy with every aspect of this little gem. Although it would be difficult to rank our favorites when it comes down to restaurants, beaches, activities, etc., hands down the Anchor Inn was the highlight of our trip. I could rave to you about the ice cold drinks, festive music, pinball and pool tables... But none of those elements even remotely compared to the awesome locals and fabulous bartenders that we quickly became friends with. But this post is regarding the Anchor Inn, so praising the bartenders is my top priority. Brad, single-handedly the most insightful and thought-provoking bartender that I've ever met. And his hair is great, too. The Brothers, both equally charming and pleasant to be around. And last, but not least and never to be forgotten, the tough as nails/sweet like honey Kirsten. You are a true Diamond, little sister. The four of you will be the top reasons that we will definitely be back to AMI in the not so distant future.“
“Absolutely PHENOMENAL! This place is so versatile with so many options. I got the bridge street sandwich on the jalapeno pepperjack bagel, easily the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! I also tried the fruity pebbles doughnut, and it was equally as delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful with the questions we had. Adorable little shop on bridge street, and a must see when in AMI.“

Made it easy with being able to use a private boat ramp and park your trailer and truck at the marina.“

“This place has one of the best atmospheres on the island. Very casual and laid back. Live music is always good. Whatever side of the street you’re on it’s just a good time to be here. Food is average and service at a table can be a bit slow because of how busy it gets. However the bartenders when you’re sitting at the open bar are quick to get you your drink. Highly recommend for a good time.“
“Let me preface this by saying the typical, “I’m from NJ and my pizza standards are very high”. Maybe cliche but true… I grew up with fantastic pizza and have been frantically searching for something that comes close since moving to FL in 2014.This pizza doesn’t just come close to what I grew up with, this is EXACTLY what I grew up with.We ordered a half cheese & a half margarita, and asked for it well done. The pizza came out perfect. The cheese side was beautifully bubbly and not greasy in the slightest. The margarita side had some perfectly melted moz with large slices of tomato and plenty of basil.The crust was golden underneath and crispy with a wonderfully bubbly edge. The sauce was flavorful- both sweet and acidic. It was exactly what you want out of a good sauce.We also ordered a penne a la vodka and it also exceeded expectations. The vodka sauce was well balanced and the pasta perfectly al dente. The chicken cutlet was breaded evenly and fried to the perfect golden brown.I failed to take pictures, but will certainly be returning. Thank you to our wonderful server who knew the food offerings inside and out. And finally, of course, thank you Danny for bringing a slice of home to the sunshine state.“
