“My friend and I went on Saturday night. We both had a drink and ordered appetizer while looking at the menu. Our waiter was right there with our hot appetizer within minutes. We both ordered shrimp and scallops coleslaw hush puppies along with our fried calamari appetizer. Our food was one of the best we've had in and around Bradenton/Sarasota. The atmosphere was perfect and service was the best. I cant wait to go back.“

“I had a health concern happen while I was entertaining myself and the locals with some guitar music, good conversation and lots of pool games. I got dehydrated and the paranoia set in hard. Luckily these folks are good people and all my belongings were kept, safely. When I got well and was able to retrieve them. I was well cared for and never made to feel unwelcome though I’m afraid I might have made a fool of myself. Maybe again some day without the dehydration? I hope so!“

“stopped in for lunch today. the food was decent, needed more flavor for me. the service was lack luster. waited over ten minutes from time being seated with menus until a server came over to bring us water and see if we wanted anything else. the server returned a couple times, but then at the end was too involved with her cellphone at the service station. even to the point of taking it over to 2 other employees to see before realizing that we were growing inpatient with waiting for the check. overall I give it a 7/10.“

“We had such a great experience at Pizza Social that we went twice during our week-long vacation! Our first visit was on a Sunday evening, and they were very busy—it took about an hour to get our pizza during that peak time. But honestly, it was absolutely worth the wait. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. We came back again on Friday night, and it was much less crowded—our order was ready in about 35 minutes. We tried the AMI pizza, the barbecue chicken pizza, and a classic pepperoni, and every single one was delicious. The staff was also super friendly both times we picked up our order, which made the experience even better. Can’t say enough great things about the food here—definitely a must-visit if you’re on the island!“

“Anna Maria Oyster Bar - Ellenton, FL After spending the day at the Florida State Fair in Tampa, my fiancé and I decided to stop by Anna Maria Oyster Bar in Ellenton—and we’re so glad we did! We ordered fried oysters, French fries, and cheese grits, and everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender and flavorful inside. The cheese grits were just the way I like them—nice and thick—and the fries were a great complement to the meal. Even better, our food arrived quickly and fresh. Our waitress, Lilly, was fantastic, providing friendly and attentive service. We also appreciated how the rest of the staff greeted us warmly as we walked through the restaurant. It’s little details like that that make a place feel extra welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms, which is always a big plus. Anna Maria Oyster Bar now has four locations, and after this experience, I’d definitely visit again. The only thing I will mention is that the last time we ate there, my husband had the seafood linguine, and it was a lot different than what we had last night. The first time my husband had the seafood linguine, It was much more bigger shrimp and you could tell the seafood was a little bit more presentable. Whereas last night you could tell it was not as fresh, but I still give it five stars because everything was fantastic. I did not eat this last night but the last time I ate there, I had their grouper with the citrus sauce on it and that is the BEST I’ve ever had it. I highly recommend.!! We will be back again.“

We were referred to Chef Melissa by the homeowner of our beach house rental.
Chef Melissa has been a perfect 10 out of 10 for us!
First, she was an absolute pleasure to work with in designing the menus for our family. We asked her to cook for two nights this week: Tuesday and tonight, Thursday. The food was perfectly prepared, she left the kitchen in our home spotless and best of all, she’s a delightful and funny person.
We are all stuffed and there are leftovers for tomorrow. She was so sweet to have separate menu selections for our granddaughter. You get what you pay for and if you want the absolute best, call Chef Melissa! I recommend her without hesitation and we will call her again when we return!“

“I celebrated my birthday at this quaint and unique space last month, and have been back several times since.
Meaghan, the owner, is friendly, accommodating, and a lovely person to chat with.
We have tried just about everything on their food menu, as well as sampled many of their wines. Everything we tried we loved!
We particularly enjoyed the Lola Pinot Noir. As we learned, Lola, is the label of her brother's vineyard in the Sonoma Valley.
Don't expect over-the-top service, expect excellent food, excellent wine, and excellent conversation.
Just love this place! Supporting local restauranteurs is so important. Keep the national chains from absorbing or forcing the mom and pops out.
