“I'm not kidding when I say this has been the best coffee we have ever had. The craftsmanship and quality of each drink and flavor is like no other coffee we have had! Besides being the best coffee we have had it has also been the nicest down to earth people we have met and so glad to say it is finally a good positive experience for us everyday going to see Gabi and Patrick. Our Daily drinks are the Blueberry Dream and New Orleans cold brew coffee which are dramatically different but equally amazing id order a flight to try all of them! Thanks for adding such a pleasant local place to Sarasota!Vegetarian options: They have all your milk preferencesParking: Easy little parking lot for all shops in the plazaKid-friendliness: Super nice People people welcome everyone (they have hot chocolate ;) )“
“This was such a wonderful meal! My wife & I traveled all the way down from Tampa because we are lacking sit-down, plant-based restaurants in our area. Ka Papa did not disappoint! Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent as well. Highly recommend, even if you aren’t plant-based!“
“We had the masala dosa and the utthappam. Masala dosa was excellent, not oily and they also ask whether you want it crisp or soft! Thats a first. The uthappam a little spicy and thinner than usual but my partner loved it. Will try other items next time. Also, would love to see more south indian dishes like a mini thali. We dont have many south Indian spots here.“
“My family had an amazing experience today at Jake’s. As a person with a lot of food allergies there is nothing more comforting then a place that invites conversation around individual dietary needs. From the signs posted letting you know to mention allergies, to checking ingredients, and taste testing-every moment made me feel safe to enjoy ice cream with my family. Thank you for all of your work to help make quality products that accommodate food allergies. Thank you for the kindness and passion that is clearly poured into every moment. It is the small moments that really make a difference and Jake’s is amazing at creating joy through small moments and interactions! Added bonus-the ice cream is beyond words good! So happy to have found this ice cream shop!“
“I loved this little cafe right in downtown Sarasota I got flashbacks of Europe. The food is so good I loved the Hungarian style bread it’s absolutely incredible. The service was totally ?% they were always asking us if everything was ok and if we needed anything. I will definitely go back.“
“It’s a food truck with indoor and outdoor seating. Didn’t realize that until we got there, but don’t let that deter you. The service was great and the food was even better.UPDATE: They now have a dine-in restaurant in a historic house on Fruitville Rd with plenty of parking. Same great food and service, and now a clean and comfortable atmosphere. Whether you are vegan, or just looking for something different, you will be blown away by the flavors.“
“We went there for a Sunday brunch. The cafe is in the backyard of a home that is tastefully decorated resembling English tea rooms. They offer a very friendly service with a fixed menu. The food is okay but it is not the main attraction for this place. you will leave the place with a feeling that you will be back. We all had a great time.“
“Ok so I cannot say enough about this place…it’s my new favorite restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, healthy, fresh…and a work of art. Staff are amazingly helpful and sweet…it’s beautiful inside…there are just no downsides to this place. The falafel rainbow bowl is my new favorite lunch. ❤️“
“Exceptionally smooth coffee. This is hands down the smoothest coffee I have drank, and I drink a lot of coffee, which is something brewed into most U.S. Navy Sailors. You won’t know unless you try it, then you will understand that this coffee sells itself, which is what a good product should do. Try it, and you’ll be convinced. ~ U.S. Navy Sailor“
“It was pretty good. The food was good, but it was not great considering the price. We spent $40 for two meals. One breakfast of eggs and bacon, nothing fancy. And I had the chicken wrap. We had waters to drink. The place was super busy, so the servers were really spread too thin. Maybe they were short-staffed? The portions were really big, so that was good. Although we didn't sit outside, it looked really nice! Good place for the snowbirds, but as a local, we have other top choices!“
“Love the staff, food and location. That being said, we came here 3 times in a week. Twice for breakfast and once for lunch - each time with our dog. The breakfasts are really good: Denver omelette with their potatoes, avocado toast, even their grits are tasty. They have biscuits for the dogs as well as a fresh water bowl… what’s not to like? We leave for home tomorrow, so today was our last time for this trip!“
“My uncle Tim recommended that my family and I check Spearfish out. We spent a long weekend in Siesta Key and this was by far the best food we had! It wasn’t “touristy” like a lot of other places nearby - it was just GOOD. The food Eric cooked on the green egg was some of the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back.“
“The food is delicious! If you are looking for drinks, burgers, or pizza highly recommend. The staff is amazing. Tell Dave, David and D’Ann sent you. And don’t forget you can take your furry friends if their vaccinations are up-to-date and the have been spade or neutered.“
“First time here.. crab cakes are amazing! Perfectly cooked slightly crispy outside and tender and butter inside. The lobster roll was one of the best I've ever had! Will definitely be back here. I can't believe I've passed this place up so many times!“
“i had breakfast this late morning and i must say the breakfast was just what you would expect, but the service by, "Victoria" was nothing short of excellent! Skillets should let her train all servers how to treat the customers. This is a "Hip Hip Hooray" for Victoria!!!!“
“We love Summer Tap and all their delicious vegan options! The food is always made fresh right in front of you. It’s a great place to meet for lunch with friends, take the kids after school or stop by for a quick tasty juice. Highly recommend!“
“I have discovered this jem of a pie bakery about 6 years ago. Whenever I have visitors from out of state, I buy the Keylime pie to treat them to something unique and delicious. This is not your Publix, or even Detwiler’s Keylime pie. It’s absolutely the best( Better than the one on Key West that claims it is the best). It’s not overly sweet and has nice touch of tartness on top and the crust is lovely and all the flavors just go so well altogether. It’s not cheap, but it is worth it. I highly recommend it.“
“Make a reservation, this place is busy. We went later on a Sunday night and still had a to wait. The food was excellent! I got the sesame tuna with baby bok choy and was not disappointed. The tuna "melted" in my mouth and everything is was seasoned to perfection. We took a gamble at a place we've never been and it was worth it.To be fair the place is beautiful inside. I really would like you to know that the inside seating is rather "intimate" with others around you. Our table was unusually close to the tables next to us. I imagine the reason for this is to maximize the amount of people who they can provide service to at the same time. One can't help but overhear conversations at the table next to them, and be sure that they hear yours.“
“I recently visited Eleni's Pizza Works and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my dining experience. I ordered the classic gyro platter with a Caesar salad on the side. What I really appreciated was the fact that I could choose any salad of my choice to go with my platter, which gave me the freedom to customize my meal to my liking. The gyro platter itself was fantastic - the meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the pita bread was fresh and warm. The Caesar salad was also delicious, with a tangy dressing and plenty of crunchy croutons. Aside from the food, I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The décor was modern and sleek, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Overall, I would highly recommend Eleni's Pizza Works to anyone looking for delicious food and a great dining experience. Whether you're in the mood for pizza, pasta, or something a little more adventurous like the gyro platter, you won't be disappointed. And with such a pleasant atmosphere, it's the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or a romantic night out.“
“They have a 5 star team and work together flawlessly. Not one employee passed by our table without stopping if it looked like something needed cleared. Fred (our waiter) was quirky, kind, and delightful! Best waiter we had all week! The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. 3rd round of mussels this week at other restaurants and Clayton’s was by far the BEST. The Clayton salad is light and the dressing is tasty. The butter they serve with the bread is different than any I’ve tasted and I could eat it with a spoon. The crab cakes were excellent and seared to perfection. The scallops melt in your mouth. We WILL be back.“
“Quite possibly the best crafted coffees you will find anywhere,, very informative barista ,,quite pricey if you buy whole beans and such .. but the per cup charge for what you get of lattes etc is actually almost cheap for the quality of the drink “
“Just had my first Italian Hero, well half of one anyhow….Deeee-licious!! So many perfectly blended flavors! So many other tempting choices on the menu and all super authentic. Piqued my interest w the rice balls (dipped in the house-made marinara) and wasn’t disappointed. Mouthwatering! Worth the stop a million times over!“
“I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place <3 the smoothies , the acai bowls , the immune shots , matcha . I haven’t had an item from here I’ve disliked , I treat myself to a smoothie from here every now and then because it is a bit pricey but soo worth it .“
“We’ve been ordering a couple dinners every week for months. There is a good selection, with meals for specific diets, e.g., vegan or low carb. It’s sort of a restaurant experience delivered fresh on the day you’re going to eat it. We’ve even ordered four meals for one dinner and invited others to join us on the patio. So delicious we invite company!“
“Great Food! Great Prices! Will Always Support Local!!We were Thanked for Stopping By!! Let's just say when you are licking your fingers and making toast to get all the Juice and Butter!! Yum!! We had the Lobster Tail and 2 sides!! Definitely Going Back!!“
“Captain Bill showed us a great time! It was one of the best parts of our trip! We celebrated my 40th birthday and even let me drive the tiki boat! Marcia was also very accommodating as well! We will be back on our next trip! Thanks for everything!!“
“A nice little cafe with patio seating in downtown Sarasota. The ambiance is very nice with the restaurant's indoor and outdoor seating - you can people watch during the farmers market. Food quality is superb here. The breakfast bowl was delicious in every way. Service was efficient but not the absolute best. Prices are a little bit inflated for the offerings, but typical Sarasota fare nowadays.“
“I recently had the pleasure of experiencing catering from Screaming Goat Taqueria, and it was simply fantastic! The flavors were vibrant, the ingredients fresh, and the presentation top-notch. From the savory tacos to the zesty salsa, every bite was a delight. The service was friendly and professional, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Screaming Goat Taqueria for any catering needs - they'll definitely add some flavor and fun to your event!“
“If I could I would give it 10 stars. We are visiting for the week but I am from Peru and was so excited to find this gem. If we were local we would absolutely be regulars. Wonderful service and the food was an experience out of the world. It’s been a few years since I have been to Lima and that ceviche took me right back. Beautiful! Delicious!!“
“WOW! We went last night while in town for a soccer tournament in Tampa.. Drove out to Sarasota to visit family and my cousin suggested here... and WOW the food was AMAZING! The service was FANTASTIC. The atmosphere was even better. This place is a must while in town!“
“This place was fantastic. Husband is a meat eater and fish and chips afficianado and declared best fish and chips ever. I am vegetarian and had the buffalo cauliflower tacos. Amazing flavor and presentation. Lots of tables. Quick service. Highly recommend!“
“My family and I ate at Rose and Ivy for the first time last night and we will 100% be going back! We have been coming to Sarasota for many years and this is now going to be one of our favorite restaurants. We were eating at Clasico (another favorite of ours) the other night when we met the owner and he informed us he recently opened another restaurant around the corner that we should try out, so the next night we took him up on his advice and we’re glad we did! The atmosphere was incredible as was the food and service. We indulged in some appetizers, sushi, and our filet was amazing! If you’re looking for a unique menu this place is a must try as there’s something on the menu that’ll interest anybody. The patio area is beautiful!“
“Great Happy Hour If you can score a seat at the bar or at a table in the bar area and it’s before 5:45pm, you can get a great deal. Drinks, including their house cocktails and most of their wines, are half off. There’s a nice list of small plates at excellent prices that are also available. We started with a couple of good cocktails. Then we shared the delicious happy hour fried shrimp. We followed that with the happy hour mussels—one of the best bowl of mussels I’ve had in a while. It was served with a basket of bread that was perfect to sop up the lovely mussel broth. Next we had the happy hour ceviche which was a generous serving and really tasty. We moved off the happy hour menu to get the Monkfish, which is discounted in the early evening. You don’t see monkfish on menus very often, and this one was very good. It comes with a soup or salad and we chose the delicious clam chowder. The plate it nicely composed with a starch and veg accompanying the monkfish. A shout out to our server, Barbara, who was very kind, helpful and efficient and moved us along at a pleasant, unrushed pace. We enjoyed our dinner very much and we hope to return.“
“I have enjoyed Blvd Cafe for breakfast and lunch. Love the croissants and latte and both the grilled salmon salad and flank steak with salad were delicious lunch entrees! The owner Mica is gracious and the wait staff hard-working and friendly. Great neighborhood, friendly vibe.“
“This restaurant is 'atmosphere personified '! It is so vibrant the walls are shaking!Outside on arrival, there was a multi instrument jazz orchestra playing great music with people in lawnchairs lapping up the entertainment. Inside the place was buzzing with many people arriving only to be disappointed because they hadn't booked. Fortunately, were aware of the restaurant's popularity. Service was friendly, but a little slow because the place was packed - forgiveness there then. The food was ample to quell our appetite and very tasty. Prices were a little higher than regular, but well worth it. I couldn't complete this review without mentioning the three artists working on their canvasses producing fine artwork for sale. The walls of the restaurant were lined with masses of canvasses in all shapes and sizes with some spectacular examples. It seemed that each time you looked at a wall a different piece would be observed. In the centre of the restaurant was a cocktail bar which appeared to be imbibing various samples of food. We need to explore this next time we visit. Is next week too soon?“
“I would pick every recommendation possible for this restaurant. Excellent server and staff. Out of bounds drinks. Great food! Relaxing atmosphere!! What more can you ask for?? Really?? What more? Love this restaurant and will recommend to everyone know.“
“If I could I would give it 10 stars. We are visiting for the week but I am from Peru and was so excited to find this gem. If we were local we would absolutely be regulars. Wonderful service and the food was an experience out of the world. It’s been a few years since I have been to Lima and that ceviche took me right back. Beautiful! Delicious!!“
“There are lots of tables and they sat people pretty far apart to keep everyone safe. There's a few tables outside too which is nice. We were very impressed. The staff wore masks and were very kind and of course the food was excellent.“
“All other sushi places we've been to in Sarasota have been okay at best, but we finally tried Sushi Bay and wish we had been coming here all along. Not only was our server Angga attentive, but he was very friendly and enthusiastic, something you don't often get in authentic sushi restaurants, or frankly most restaurants in Sarasota, in general. The sushi rolls were generously filled with flavorful fish, and beautifully garnished. Excellent product presentation! The atmosphere was clean, neat, and welcoming. Ambiance was classy, but comfortable. The owner even came by to greet us in a genuinely friendly demeanor, which is rare for any restaurant on a Sunday evening. Pricing was very fair, especially for currently being in an economic state of hyperinflation. Bottom line is we'll be back again soon, and regularly!“
“We enjoy the food and service at The Tamiami Tap - and mostly appreciate the local, neighborhood spirit. Mark and his team make everyone welcome, whether it is a beautiful evening or the day after the hurricane… oh, and the nachos, sliders, pork sandwich, small little salad… and… and.. are great!“
“Stopped in for some coffee. Upon entry the patio walkway was busy and the main door opens to a takeaway area that was slightly confusing as you are expected to order at the bar instead. Simons Coffee House is actually a small restaurant in a strip mall. The food looked good, but we took a cortado and vanilla ice latte to go. The bar staff were nice, the service was quick and the coffee was good. It looks like they sell coffee beans to go too.“
“Adorable place with cute vibes and happy workers! My fiancé and I got the TBR sandwich and he was in love with it. He doesn’t enjoy being inside coffee shops but he said “I’d make a special trip just for that sandwich again” I got an iced latte and it was also delish!“
“This is a very nice High end Restaurant on Sarasota Bay and Siesta Key. Atmosphere was phenomenal. Somehow we ended up with a premier table on the edge of the water overlooking the Bay, with the giant fish entertaining us at the Fish lights. The service was very good, we always felt attended to. The Quality of food and drinks was excellent, we were extremely satisfied with our meal.Would highly recommend for a high end restaurant experience.Parking: Parking lot is Valet only.“
“Small, cozy bar off S Tamiami Trail. We went on a Friday night, and there was a 30-minute wait for regular seating. The bar had open seats so we decided to just order there. I got the stuffed jalapenos, and they came out hot and fresh. Crispy bacon exterior, with a cheesy mozzarella interior. For my main course, I went for the Hawaiian burger, which did not disappoint. It was cooked perfectly to temp with two grilled pineapple wheels, LTO, and bbq sauce on the side. Two thumbs up. My wife got the cheese steak and said it was good but not the best. Both of our main dishes were served with crispy steak fries and a pickle spear. I normally dont like thick cut steak fries because they aren't normally cooked with an exterior crisp, but these were. Service was a bit slow but only because of how busy it was. Service bar drink tickets were printed nonstop, and the bartender did a great job managing wait staff drinks while still tending to her bar guests. Overall, good food and service.“
“Very friendly staff. Super busy/fun place, but excellent service and food came out quickly which was helpful for our toddler. The food was really good. We ordered peel and eat shrimp with old bay, street down dip, calico burger, fish tacos, grouper sandwich, steamed clams, and the Mac and cheese and chicken tender kids meals. Zero complaints from our table. Everything was so delicious. The live music was great.I think we waited 10-15 minutes for the table on a Monday night. We had tried to go on Sunday but the wait was 30+ which was too much for our hungry toddler. We really enjoyed this spot.“
“Sardinia deserves a 4.75 and maybe higher. Food is delicious and service exceptional too. A bit loud due to the room size and table placements, but that's required to run a business in SRQ. The Sardinian Bread is exceptional. All pastas are homemade...and wonderful as well. We had a delicious dinner and look forward to returning.“
“We ate at the Toasted Yolk for the first time and loved it. Food was great service was excellent! Got seated right away and had the best server Megan making sure we had everything we needed and checking back and making sure everything was great! A+ service!!!“
“Obsessed with this spot. Very good quality, tasty food made with local ingredients. You can even get beer and wine. Great ambience. Beside a very lovely playground. We were here multiple times during out 3 week trip and will be back. Thank you!“
“True fresh Greek cuisine. Went back 3 times after giving it a try. Food is amazing and the service is great. Glad we tried it. Skip all the other restaurants at the circle and try this place. Grilled calamari and Greek potatoes were over the top the best.“
“For an almost $30 lobster roll I expected a little more lobster or atleast a bigger roll, was just lobster between a piece of Texas toast but it was delicious. We loved the fresh bread and dipping it in the oil was a cool Italian/ seafood / beach vibes place. Reasonably priced kids meals!Kid-friendliness: Good kid menus“
