“We had a family gathering catered by Dolce Italia and everything was absolutely amazing! We had trays of the Trenne Dolce Italia with sausage, an eggplant dish and homemade pasta with meatballs, which was absolutely delicious. The Mista salad was beautiful, fresh and the perfect compliment to the meal. The process was easy thanks to Matthew’s suggestions and the food was hot, packaged well and ready to be served.”

“Wow Wow Wow! Absolutely delicious and authentic Italian food! I never order pasta from a pizza joint... I'm way too serious about my pasta. I took a chance on Capo as I'd had a slice of their eggplant pizza and it was fabulous. I orded the rigatoni bolognese, and requested penne as a substitute. It was heaven. The sauce was perfect - the amount of garlic was subtley handled as was the rest of the seasoning. No bitterness and not too sweet either. You can tell the sauce had been cooked awhike and not rushed. The meat was high quality and the coupe de gras was to burrata! A huge helping of cheese right in the middle of the dish. The serving was huge... I only needed it for myself and I got 3 meals from it. Of course as all pasta lovers know it was even better the second day. I had the good fortune to be offered a meatball to try by the owner. I went back the next week for an order of meatballs and tried the gnocchi. Highly highly highly recommend giving this place a try!!!”

“We had dinner at Siegfried's Restaurant on Feb. 26th - our third meal there and we always leave with big smiles on our faces. The schnitzel and sauerbraten are both excellent, as are the sides and desserts. The staff is warm and engaging and we were so happy to meet and speak with the chef/owner. The restaurant is in one of the cozy-looking cottages on Fruitville Rd and is the perfect setting for this authentic German restaurant. Be sure you make a reservation and be prepared to enjoy a fantastic German meal!”

“So delicious, everything is home made. It is a small intimate restaurant and the owners/chefs are so welcoming. The pasta is so delicious and the focaccia bread to the mussels appetizer to the lamb sauce over fettuccine was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The homemade mixture they serve with the bread is unlike anything we have ever had and it was their grandma’s recipe that made it extra special. I would suggest a reservation for this hidden gem!”

The pasta carbonara came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint in fact, it was the best carbonara we’ve ever had, even compared to dishes we’ve enjoyed while traveling in Italy. The osso bucco was incredible as well, with portions so generous that they happily boxed up the leftovers for us. For dessert, the cannoli was truly to die for, and the coffee was perfection. Every single part of the meal exceeded our expectations.We were so impressed that we’ve decided to use this restaurant to cater our wedding. Rocco, the owner, sat with us and personally greeted us, along with the wonderful servers. The whole place has an authentic, welcoming family vibe, and everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. The restaurant is spotless honestly the cleanest restaurant in Sarasota and even the bathrooms are immaculate. Everything about Bella Vida was above and beyond anything we’ve experienced in Sarasota. Not only was Kourtney a joy to work with, but Mattison's food was amazing, too! During our tasting, we were blown away by how good the food was (appetizers, salad, entrees, sides, you name it). We couldn't stop talking about how excited we were to eat such a wonderful meal. At the wedding, it was no different, everything was just as great as we remembered! The wait staff and bartenders were extremely kind and willing to make sure my husband and I, as well as our families and guests, were taken care of. We highly recommend them! To relive our wonderful memories, my husband and I look forward to visiting Mattison's again soon. At one point, it was clear that there were only two girls in the kitchen, a guy at the drive-thru window, and a woman at the front counter, whom I'm here to praise. It seemed like she was working alone, only receiving some support from the team; it looked like she was the one in charge the whole time, and I was very impressed with her efficiency and friendliness despite the extreme crowd. She also had a very good memory because when we arrived to pick up the order, she already had an idea of whether she was preparing that customer's order or not.
Anyway, congratulations!!! Give this woman a raise!”

“I It’s so unexpected to eat at a restaurant that truly blows you away but tonight we experienced just that. We ate at Djonisi’s Restaurant and let me tell you, it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The server gave us his name - Djonisi of course, it’s his family restaurant! And his mother was cooking tonight - we suspected we were in for a treat. Everything, and I mean everything, we had was delicious and cooked with love. The grilled octopus, may be the best we’ve ever had. PeiThe eggplant, feta red pepper, and taramosalata dips, and dolmades, the lamb chops were incredible. And the grill for two! They brought a mini chaffer to the table to keep it warm, perfect. Baklava and custard pie for dessert. We took home almost half the food the portions were so big. The lemon potatos and the tomato rice served with each meal - just proves they know exactly what they are doing. Amazing Greek food, such a nice Greek family, super clean and priced well. We will be back. Once we make some room in our bellies from this feast! And I’m Greek… I’ve been eating this food my whole life so you can trust me, I’m a professional 😂”

“With only eight tables and reservations in constant demand, we somehow managed to secure a weekend spot by calling more than a month in advance. I was genuinely grateful just to be there. They seated us at a little two top tucked into the corner by the window. Normally I am not a fan of two-seaters because they can feel like an afterthought. But this one felt intentional. From our spot we could see the whole intimate dining room and watch the chef cooking away. It felt cozy, not cramped.

We started with a bottle of white and two appetizers that set the tone immediately. The tuna tartare was bright and fresh, perfectly balanced. The sausage over spinach and broccoli was warm and rustic and full of flavor. Simple ingredients done really, really well.

I especially love that they wheel the menus over on chalkboards instead of handing you a printed menu. Our server Gus was great and carefully explained each item. You can tell the chef works with whatever is best that day. That detail alone says a lot.

My husband, who is very picky about pasta, ordered the lobster pappardelle in red sauce with a little kick. He was thrilled. I had the shrimp and lobster pappardelle in a sauce that I honestly cannot even describe properly. It was just incredible. Rich but balanced. Every bite made me pause.

Everything was marvelous. I have not enjoyed a meal that much since Florence. And finding that kind of experience here in Florida felt like a little gift.”

Also love their beer selections. I am an IPA beer drinker and it's like they know my favorites because they always have at least one of them. We shared the delicious recommended Shrimpy fondue and followed with their dry rub ribs (The best in a long time) and a Cap'n Shannen's Pineapple Boat filled to the brim with deliciousness. A very friendly staff and 5 stars to our server Missy. Her recommendations were right on! The service she provided was top notch!”

“My family and I have been going to Sarasota (st armands) for years now. We somehow have never been to Columbia, but oh my, no words for this place. This is now my favorite restaurant on the circle. Food is beyond flavorful and drinks are spectacular. Can't wait to go back in the fall. I recommend making a reservation 6 hrs prior or 1 day ahead. Very busy, elegant, with a great warm columbian feel.”

He was so genuine and sweet the entire time, and honestly one of the funniest servers we've had in a long time. His sense of humor was subtle, perfectly timed, and made us feel like we were in great hands. He checked in exactly when he needed to, kept the vibe light and warm, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever hovering. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back. If you get the chance, ask for Josh -- he'll make your whole meal better! We will for sure be asking for Josh when we come back!!”

We ordered the skillet biscuits as an appetizer and wow delicious! As our entrees, we got a Caesar salad with filet and a mango chicken salad, both were absolutely delicious! This is definitely the best spot to eat at Saint Armand Circle. The balcony and the view are amazing. The atmosphere is breezy, friendly, and posh. Highly recommend coming to Tommy Bahamas and asking for Ally! You will not be disappointed!”

“Why have Starbucks when there’s great fresh brewed coffee at Riviera French UTC. No real wait. This coffee shop is located on the upper floor of UTC mall, Sarasota.

Loved coffee. We had a cappuccino, drip coffee and a plain croissant.”

“We love coming to 83 Tavern. We watch sports here but it’s not overwhelmingly loud. Perfect atmosphere, the food is incredible. Love the buffalo crisps. Can’t write a review without mentioning their martinis… amazing.
