“We had an amazing dining experience at Cuba 1958 in Sarasota! There were four of us, and we enjoyed every single dish we ordered — from the appetizers to the main courses, everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and authentic, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was both beautiful and welcoming. This place is a gem! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful meal and a great vibe. A must-visit!“

“We are not local, but have reason to visit the area several times per year. Prior to our first visit a couple years ago, I read extensively about several different restaurants and made my list (iykyk) of places I wanted to try. There may come a day that Mi Havana is not our first stop, but it hasn't happened yet. In fact, I make sure to leave home in the panhandle early enough to arrive before closing time. Our hotel has a refrigerator and microwave, which is a good thing considering the portion sizes. Depending on party size, it's perfect to eat family style! In our half dozen or so trips to the area, we have found only a couple other places that have warranted a repeat visit.“

The staff is so lovely and friendly.

We had the CORVINA fish and we ordered a side of black beans as that did not come with this particular meal.

We were amazed with the flavor.

If you don’t eat much this is a perfect combo as I shared with my mom and we were both plenty satisfied with the portion.

This place has reasonable prices as well.

“We just happened upon El Ceviche and with knowledge that ceviche was invented in Peru and I hadn't had it in a long time, we ventured in with no recommendation from anyone. What a find! Best shrimp ceviche ever! My husband ordered a beef dish, Lomo Saltado and said it was delicious. Peruvian corn was a real treat. This is on my Best Of list! Go. Eat. Enjoy.“

“Food is good. I'd give it 5 stars but we have amazing places in Sarasota with extensive menu's. I like a good burger and theirs is simple and hearty. The atmosphere is old sarasota and I love the vibe. Service we had was from someone who most likely has years of experience because she was on point and non-intrusive. She read my mind on being a diet coke addict and had another glass ready for me before I finished my first one and made an assertive recommendation when I asked. Thats a win for me! What I assume was owner came by and greated us briefly to check in and didn't say anything more than how we were doing. Its similar to the look and feel of Siesta Key Oyster Bar. There is a great looking bar, good beach bar ambiance (not by the beach) and a stage for live music.“

“I got the roast pork sandwich...it was amazing. The churros were so good...I ate 1/2 the sandwich so I would have room for dessert! The guava dipping sauce for the churros was beyond good! This was my first visit to Columbia but I will be back many times!“

“We stopped in for the first time for an early dinner. I wish I was here early enough to try a cafe con leche but next time.

We ordered the tostones as I try to order them any place that serves them. Also ordered a regular Cuban, a Cuban Media Noche, and black beans & rice.
All 😋🤤delicious and tasty. With such a big menu, you would have to come back a few times. Definitely would return!“
