“We had an amazing dining experience at Cuba 1958 in Sarasota! There were four of us, and we enjoyed every single dish we ordered — from the appetizers to the main courses, everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and authentic, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was both beautiful and welcoming. This place is a gem! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful meal and a great vibe. A must-visit!“

“We are not local, but have reason to visit the area several times per year. Prior to our first visit a couple years ago, I read extensively about several different restaurants and made my list (iykyk) of places I wanted to try. There may come a day that Mi Havana is not our first stop, but it hasn't happened yet. In fact, I make sure to leave home in the panhandle early enough to arrive before closing time. Our hotel has a refrigerator and microwave, which is a good thing considering the portion sizes. Depending on party size, it's perfect to eat family style! In our half dozen or so trips to the area, we have found only a couple other places that have warranted a repeat visit.“

The staff is so lovely and friendly.

We had the CORVINA fish and we ordered a side of black beans as that did not come with this particular meal.

We were amazed with the flavor.

If you don’t eat much this is a perfect combo as I shared with my mom and we were both plenty satisfied with the portion.

This place has reasonable prices as well.

“We just happened upon El Ceviche and with knowledge that ceviche was invented in Peru and I hadn't had it in a long time, we ventured in with no recommendation from anyone. What a find! Best shrimp ceviche ever! My husband ordered a beef dish, Lomo Saltado and said it was delicious. Peruvian corn was a real treat. This is on my Best Of list! Go. Eat. Enjoy.“

“The people know there is Miley the bartender and Maria that does everything Jess and Holly are amazing servers as was Sue who I've known for many many years but Miley and Maria are the two people know there you go see those two girls and they will take care of you and make sure you have the best experience possible tell him I sent you and be impressed!!!“

Kyle our waiter was great! Spot on with his recommendation. Friendly and attentive! We had a pitcher of mojito (made tableside) delish. 1905 salad is a must. We ordered the Lomo Salteado, Jesse Gonzalez, and the Pollo Machengo all great meals! We wrapped up with dessert and we ordered I think we all but one dessert the Guava turnover was my FAV!
It is def. worth coming in and trying out“

“Food is authentic on the healthy side. All fresh , enjoy the wait with the shrimp appetizer or a mojito. My favorite dessert is the Cheese/Guava flan. Thanksgiving dinner package was tasty and plenty.“

“Good food. I personally enjoyed the mango milkshake. Service on the other hand needs attention. She had no interest in earning tips by her demeanor. And to top it off, we were given the wrong check, and informed her as we didn't want her to get in trouble. She could have cared less. Took it and brought our correct one which was 3xs the amount. A thank you would have been suffice... but do go for the food. It was good. Mango milkshake; don't forget.“
