“Came here with family who had never had Cuban food. We can’t say enough great things about this place! I had the oxtail (first time ever having oxtail) and it was amazing! Service was wonderful and kept our plates full of sauces and spices. If you’ve never had Cuban food, this is the place to go!!!“
“I went back in December, lovely place great service and food. I tried the croquettas de jamon, an amazing Cuban sandwich, guava pastelito and a mimosa. All made when I ordered. Prices are great for the quality of food. The owner was very kind, told me about the stores history and also gave me great recommendations for other places to try. Now Parking, it's a shared plaza and not huge but should be easy enough to find parking.“
“Oh. My. Gosh. We were in town for a reggae festival and this was close to our airbnb. I am Dominican and my partner is American and we both LOVED everything. Ham croquetas were excellent. I had a cortadito (sweet) and my partner had a Cafe con Leche. This place is authentic, people will walk in speaking Spanish to the woman at the counter like they have known her for years. This is an authentic cuban cafeteria. We are looking forward to our next visit to St. Pete to see them again! You should come too - you will not regret it!“
“Decided to check out Nomi Nori on a Saturday night and I was blown away. The sushi… 10/10. Fresh. Flavorful. Fantastic.Our waitress, Daniela, was absolutely on top of it all night. She went above and beyond to accommodate our table. She was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The service was 10/10.. hands down.We asked for a few drink recommendations based on the menu and Moses the bartender took some time to figure out exactly what we were feeling. Next thing I know, this mans slinging absolute fire like Brady slinging 1st downs in the 4th quarter of the Patriots Falcons 17’ Super Bowl. “Cuban sandwich was really good, packed with roast pork. The beans and rice tasted good but the ratio was not to my liking, needed way more beans ended up tossing half the rice. It was a long wait to get my food and they don’t offer much of an option to eat on site.“
“Had an appointment in St. Pete and picked La Segunda on the fly for lunch. What a gem of a find! Staff were exceptional and a pleasure to deal with. The food was good and the bread for my Cuban was spot on. A nice selection of desserts and pastries. I got everything Guava they had to take home, all light, crisp and flaky. The strawberry shortcake had the softest delicious cake, just enough strawberries and whipped cream so none over-powered the other. Will definitely go back when in St. Pete.“
“We came in early as they were just opening. Despite hitting them hard with a big group of 12 they were nothing but accommodating. It was a long weekend and this was the perfect place to end it. Abigale was super attentive and made sure everyone was taken care of. She even overheard it was my birthday and made a little cake appear at the end. Cool atmosphere and great staff.“

“Pulled up here for a night out with the Bachelor! we had a table reserved and got to see a lil show. We all ordered this drink on the menu called The Maverick because it said they only allow you to have 2 per person lol we had to see what that was about. It was definitely about what it was about lol.The guys ate sushi and I got to try saki for the first time. It was very strange taste and almost activated my gag reflex. I ended up taking another shot lol needless to say, saki aint for me. At least not right now.10/10 recommend“
“Amazing Cubans!! We get the St. Pete sandwich and it is just amazing. The family who owns it is great, too. One of the best hidden gems in town! There’s a few tables to sit inside and one or two outside. Most people grab and go. They have chips and drinks as well.“
