My goal is to provide an impartial perspective, highlighting both the commendable and deficient aspects of dining establishments. ---- Ambiance: Entering the restaurant, you can feel the vibe of a local gathering catering to friends, families, business lunches, and dates, along with the mixture of music, laughter, and conversation in the area. The décor brings together a combination of modern décor and sophistication, artsy flare, and a carefully curated bar area that is used to craft cocktails representative of a fusion of regions of the globe. There are two seating areas, tables throughout the dining area and a set of booths on the back wall. My advice to patrons visiting this restaurant is if you want to have a casual conversation without having to scream or speak loudly, do not sit on the back wall. The acoustics were terrible. We could barely hear each other speak. ---- Food: We visited this restaurant for Saturday Brunch, which allowed us to choose from an array of breakfast and lunch items. Unlike many restaurants that limit the selections, I found the menu provided a great deal of options for a wide variety of customers, making it challenging to choose which dishes to tantalize one's taste buds. ---- Chicken and Biscuits: a dish that often dawns many restaurants throughout the Southeast, this dish was truly elevated to not only represent the customary expectations of an authentic southern cuisine but goes beyond simple flavors to truly touch on all your senses from the warm flaky biscuits, the perfectly cooked and seasoned crispy chicken, a rich and savory flavor-filled sausage gravy, and an amazing blend of flavors raising the bar with their collard greens. ---- Brunch Bowl: Bowls can be either really good or really bad, depending on the chef who curates them. The largest mistake a chef makes is having overpowering ingredients that take away from all the flavors of the ingredients. This chef truly prepared a bowl with the balance of many different ingredients, allowing you to taste all the true flavors of the black beans, roasted corn, citrus pico de gallo, Peruvian chicken, pio pio sauce, poached egg, and pickled red onions laying on a bed of white rice. This film is about an 85-year-old sushi master and owner of Sukiyabashi Jiro, previously a Michelin three-star restaurant. Sukiyabashi Jiro is a 10-seat, sushi-only restaurant located in a Tokyo subway station. We have this kind of high quality sushi restaurant and only 10 seats. We get to enjoy heavenly delicious sushi like film with sake paring in St. Pete last night. What can I say! It’s a fantastic experience and culture for 2 hours.”

Customer Service this morning helped change review all the associates are very nice despite security guard.”

We opted for classic Spanish dishes: Galician-style octopus, patatas bravas and croquettes, for dinner it is good but the portions are a bit small. The place was a bit noisy and with a lot of people, the service was not very fast but friendly and communicative.”

The beers are all phenomenal. Put it on your list if you are planning a trip there”

“Trendy Café with Very Good Food It was a rainy Saturday morning and the place was busy. No one could use the outdoor tables, so it was crowded inside. Nevertheless, things moved along quickly and we got our order in and got a table. The staff members were all very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The coffee was very good. For food a Jam-on-It Sandwich which was quite nice. We also had a berry yogurt bowl. The yogurt was delicious and the fruit and granola on it were great. The hummus was absolutely amazing. It was super flavorful and unlike anything we have ever had before. The gyro had a lot of flavor to it as well as the chocolate cake.
It was a nice atmosphere and we felt very comfortable. The food came out fast and the staff was friendly.

We started with very nice coconut soup (basically a Thai tom kha), if slightly too sweet. The pork dumplings were very good. The ginger chicken entrée had nice flavor, but the chicken pieces were a little tough. The server highly recommended the snapper risotto, which seemed an odd choice for an Asian restaurant. Nevertheless, the snapper was a generous piece and nicely cooked. The sauce on it was delicious. The risotto, however, was on the gummy side when it should have had a silky texture. I would go to Green Pagoda again and try the whole fish and some sushi.”

“Review of Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille St. Pete Pier We ventured from the Hyatt Place to Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille on foot as a group, which allowed us to enjoy each other's company and the beautiful St. Petersburg Pier at night. The walk was short and pleasant, enhancing our overall experience. Upon arrival, we were fortunate to secure an immediate reservation for a table for seven, even though the restaurant was bustling. Our server, Noah, was exemplary. He swiftly took our drink and appetizer orders, managing our table and others with remarkable efficiency and a friendly demeanor. We began with two dozen oysters on the half shell, which impressed even our Louisiana-native friends accustomed to seafood. They declared these oysters the best, largest, and freshest they had ever tasted, enhanced by a variety of sauces and hot sauces provided at the table. Doc Ford's offered an array of island-themed drinks, including non-alcoholic versions for our group member in recovery. I opted for the dry rub ribeye, cooked perfectly to my preferred temperature, accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak's charred exterior added a delightful flavor while keeping it juicy. Two of our team members ordered the seafood hiatus, a generous portion of shrimp, fish, and other seafood, which they enjoyed immensely. Other team members praised the ribs and fresh shrimp dishes, all of which were excellently prepared. As the evening progressed and the restaurant emptied, we enjoyed engaging conversations with Noah and other staff members. We shared a memorable moment watching the University of Tennessee baseball team win in the College World Series. This interaction, along with a shared appreciation for Drew Talbert's Bistro Huddy videos, made for a memorable night. Our visit to St. Petersburg for the Southern Lock & Supply Learning Expo and Trade Show was a success, and our evening at Doc Ford's created lasting memories. The restaurant's setting on the pier, excellent food, and friendly staff made for an outstanding experience. “Trendy Café with Very Good Food It was a rainy Saturday morning and the place was busy. No one could use the outdoor tables, so it was crowded inside. Nevertheless, things moved along quickly and we got our order in and got a table. The staff members were all very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The coffee was very good. For food a Jam-on-It Sandwich which was quite nice. We also had a berry yogurt bowl. The yogurt was delicious and the fruit and granola on it were great. The scone we got, nicely warmed, was delicious. I’ll return, but I’ll try for a dry weekday.”

As a Jew from New York, it's hard to come by a solid nosh. Eisntiens: whatever --- Brooklyn Bagel Co --- whatever --- Bad Mother --- mindblowing. Ego aside, it's just nice to have a taste of home.
