The Big Catch at Salt Creek Reviews
soooo good!
loved looking out at the water while I ate my yummy coconut shrimp & scrumptious ceasar salad. it was so good I ordered a meal to go!
joe, the bartender was very attentive & makes good drinks.
if I'm in St Petersburg again, I will definitely be back!
Horrible experience. The food was bad, the service was worse, and the owner was extremely rude—made sarcastic remarks. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
Place is garbage.
They say the fish is fresh but the get it frozen.
The owner is a nasty person.
Do not recommend this place.
You are better going to McDonalds for a fish sandwich.

The Big Catch at Salt Creek offers a relaxed, rustic atmosphere right on the water, complete with outdoor seating by the docks. The occasional live music enhances the fun vibe, making it a great spot for enjoying time with friends while watching the sunset. The food is generally considered good, with highlights like the Coconut shrimp, Shrimp tacos, and Blackened MahiMahi sandwich. The grouper and peel-and-eat shrimp have also received praise for being fresh and flavorful. Portions are generous, drinks are cold, and the French fries are excellent. Many customers appreciate the friendly service and welcoming staff, with some noting Joe at the bar mixes a great margarita. The atmosphere is hard to beat, and the casual Florida coastal vibe attracts groups and families alike. Visitors often enjoy delicious dishes like the bang bang shrimp, fish spread, and Cajun pasta, leaving satisfied and eager to return.
