“This is the best bar in downtown St. Pete. We are here at least one day every week. Food is unbelievable and drinks are the best of anywhere in the area. Rick and Tony are awesome. Highly recommend checking it out and grabbing a smoke stack and some amazing food.“

“Tonight was my first visit to Allelo on Beach Drive in St. Pete. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky to get seats at the bar around 7 p.m. They mentioned they were fully booked, though we did notice a few tables open both when we arrived and when we left. Still, we ended up having a great time at the bar! The female bartender was pretty friendly and attentive, and the bar back (a male) was busy helping with table and silverware setup ~ both were good. We ordered the Baby Gem Salad, Mussels in a delicious tomato sauce, and the Cocktail Shrimp, which were all fantastic. The cocktails were unique and interestingly crafted. The espresso martini had an interesting twist ~ a subtle touch of amaro that gave it depth. The lemon drop martini was made with their house lemonade, which gave it a refreshing and slightly unexpected flavor. My friend ordered the Aperol Spritz and really enjoyed it too. It was a bit loud inside, so next time I’ll definitely ask to sit outside, especially in this beautiful weather. The restaurant has a charming patio right on Beach Drive, a cozy bar area, and another smaller dining room to the right as you walk in. The space is beautifully decorated, with a hand-painted mural of birds by a local artist. They even provided a list so guests can learn about each bird featured on the wall ~ a thoughtful touch! I’m surprised it took me this long to visit, especially since I consider myself quite the foodie. Allelo has been open for 5 years, and after tonight, I can definitely say I’ll be back soon!“

“From the moment I walked in Morgan was very responsive, not only welcoming but she was very specific from my drink to my refill she actually was very attentive and responsive. I have not had service like her like she was on point the entire night when you go there I fully recommend her pass that point if you don’t, you won’t appreciate the real service you could be .“

“Went in for margaritas after seeing the great reviews. Nearly all ice, not as impressive or tasty as we had hoped. Small, too, for the price. Nice enough place-- open, clean, already in the spirit of Halloween six weeks early. The bartenders were not busy but didn't have much interest in those of us sitting right there at the bar.“

“Asian Fusion with a Touch of Italian Green Pagoda has a pleasant atmosphere. They could do better quality control on making sure the plates are clean. Our server was pleasant and helpful with the menu. But after he took our order we didn’t see him again until we were done and asked for the check. (Someone else delivered the food.) So, he never checked to see if our food was OK or to refill water. As for the food, it was pretty good overall. We started with very nice coconut soup (basically a Thai tom kha), if slightly too sweet. The pork dumplings were very good. The ginger chicken entrée had nice flavor, but the chicken pieces were a little tough. The server highly recommended the snapper risotto, which seemed an odd choice for an Asian restaurant. Nevertheless, the snapper was a generous piece and nicely cooked. The sauce on it was delicious. The risotto, however, was on the gummy side when it should have had a silky texture. I would go to Green Pagoda again and try the whole fish and some sushi.“

“My husband and I have lived in St. Pete for years, and we thought we had seen it all. Somehow, we walked past Saigon Blonde multiple times and, for some reason, were too dense to ever walk inside. 😂

The atmosphere is incredible, but honestly, nothing compares to the service. From the very first time we visited, we were hooked. And specifically, David behind the bar is the reason we’ve officially become regulars.

The drinks are incredible, but his genuine camaraderie is something you just don’t find often in a bartender. He makes you feel like a regular from the moment you meet him, and that kind of hospitality is rare.

We’ve gone back every week for about six weeks, and we have officially tried every drink on the menu. And somehow, I still can’t figure out which one is my favorite because they’re ALL so incredible. Every drink has its own personality, and I genuinely spend the week thinking about which one I’m going to order next. 😂

But you know what might be the coolest part? These bartenders aren’t just making drinks. If you’ve worked your way through the menu, they’ll actually create something specifically for your palate. They take what you like, what you don’t like, and turn it into something completely unique. It’s such a cool experience.

I will argue with anyone that Saigon Blonde is the absolute best bar in St. Pete. And if you haven’t been yet, stop walking past it like we did for years and GO INSIDE. You’re missing out.“
