“We’ve never had all you can eat sushi before so for the price we were SUPER skeptical going in.If you’re going for dinner make a reservation ahead of the time because they were fully booked out for the night by 3PM on a Saturday. After eating I can see why. It was AMAZING. everything from the food, to service to atmosphere. The sushi rolls came out fast and were delicious.I can’t speak highly enough of this place and we can’t wait to bring our friends back to try everything!!I didn’t take pictures of everything we ate because we were so hungry but overall experience is a 10/10!!“
“This is the best poke bowl I’ve had in St. Pete!! Everything I got in my bowl was so fresh the cucumber salad was amazing so was the quality of the fish. Im a sauce girl, I drench everything in sauce I accidentally ate half of my bowl because it was so good without noticing I didn’t even put sauce on. When I added the counter sauce I almost died it was so amazing. This was my first time ordering I will absolutely be back.Vegetarian options: there’s Tofu, Spicy Tofu, and an all veggie option for the build your own poke bowl. There’s sooooo many vegan/vegetarian options to put in your bowlDietary restrictions: Gluten free vegan vegetarian options“
“As locals we visit this restaurant frequently. The menu is varied and includes many vegetarian options. The service has improved over the years. Food is fresh and delicious with a very nice presentation. We like the curries and noodle dishes. Atmosphere is typical of Asian restaurants with lots of interesting native items...but not trendy.“
“We went for the omikase experience and it was exceptional. Each course was better than the next. Flavors were impeccable and unique. Additionally we had the same pairing and would highly recommend. Definitely the best sushi that we’ve ever had.“
“I’ve been enjoying Sushi Rock Grill for a very long time. Anytime I’m in the area I always make sure to stop by and enjoy their creations.I had the Sushi Nachos and the Volcano Lobster. I also enjoy The Pear chilled sake.Wonderful meal as always.“
“First time here and had a lovely time. Adequate parking outside; spacious and beautifully decorated interior. Very attentive staff. We got CHANG beers! Yassss. Our favorite Thai beer, ice cold to start. Then we ordered the pork belly hot pot and sizzling duck. That hot pot HIT IT. Whoa. Outstanding. Juicy in what seemed to be a sticky soy-based sauce, rice perfectly caramelized at the bottom. BIGGEST pork belly pieces I've ever seen in my life. All so perfectly cooked. The sizzling duck was beautifully cooked as well, but wish it had more of the curry sauce. Was not enough to wet a starchy rice side. Still delicious though and LOVED the amount of big carrots and green beans it came with. Will definitely come back!“
“Decided to check out Nomi Nori on a Saturday night and I was blown away. The sushi… 10/10. Fresh. Flavorful. Fantastic. Our waitress, Daniela, was absolutely on top of it all night. She went above and beyond to accommodate our table. She was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The service was 10/10.. hands down.We asked for a few drink recommendations based on the menu and Moses the bartender took some time to figure out exactly what we were feeling. Next thing I know, this mans slinging absolute fire like Brady slinging 1st downs in the 4th quarter of the Patriots Falcons 17’ Super Bowl. Drinks were 10/10.If you’re in the are looking for a great food, great drinks, and excellent service. Make sure you check this place out!“
“Casual setting spot next to Williams Park. Seating was on the smaller side so I wouldn’t bring a huge party here. Miso soup was spot on. Fish was FRESH. The kani roll was yummy and topped with a lot of crab. Service was also great! Will be back for sure.“
“Sake selection is was excellent and unusual. The fish was fresh, rolls a decent size, decent price, and the staff were kind and attentive.Look past the fact that it’s in a strip mall, because this place can compete with any sushi place around.“
“We decided since we had some friends along to try the at the table grilling. It is a lot of fun and the food was very good. We ordered an angry tuna sushi roll as well, but would have had plenty of food without it. The grilling combo we got was for four people and came with miso soup and ginger salad for everyone and then a tempura shrimp appetizer. It came with 4 different meats bone in short ribs, spicy pork, beef bulgogi, and chicken. Along with 2 sets of ban chans the little pickled accompaniments and sauces and bowls of white rice. They have beer and a nice selection of Saki and Soju also. The service was quick and friendly, we went early on Saturday evening. They also have plenty of other delicious food options besides the table grilling, if playing with your food is not your deal.“
“Sushi was solid. The yellowtail jalapeño appetizer in particular was great. Edamame was evenly seasoned, which is nice to avoid competition for the salt-bombs.Fried rice felt a bit haphazard: too busy with mixed vegetable ingredients, could use more egg. Teriyaki chicken cubes thrown on top didn't really meld with the rest of it.Ramen looked questionable.Stick to their obvious strengths/namesake and pretend the other stuff isn't on the menu.Staff was a bit busy but helpful and courteous.“
“I went last night and I have to say I have never had such fresh sushi before in all my travels. Everything was delicious for the delicious crab appetizer , the quality of fish, to the crème brule martini. Also one of the best expresso martinis I’ve had too! My mom’s hard to please and she was a huge fan.Parking: Parked right outside very easily“
“We were there Saturday night and of course we requested Chuck, even though there was a little wait, Chuck did not disappoint! Our food was delicious, jokes were amazing, and everything he does is just great. Looking forward to coming in again real soon. The service was great as well, our server was very attentive and met all of our needs! This visit was one of our best! Can't wait to dig in to my leftovers today!“
“We were looking for carry out and this place offered it. I ordered off the menu with no problems and even got some unfiltered sake to take home....bonus! The order was taken quickly and before we could get settled, the carry out order came out. We were maybe 10 minutes from home and sushi was excellent and tasted "fresh". That's the most important thing about sushi. Excellent. I might just go back instead of doing carry out.“
“We were a little taken back by location. But, the service was excellent! We did Hibachi style. Our cook was fantastic! Everything was very good. My steak was nice and tender. Excellent portions. The sushi was very fresh and well made. Prices are comparable to other Hibachi places in the area. Honestly, we thought it was better tasting than Kobè's Hibachi restaurant. Plus, you don't have to put reservations on credit card to make/hold a reservation. Will definitely return here.“
“CANDACE! I’ve been here a handful of times now, truly going back for the food. The service from other servers was subpar until this last time when Candace killed it!! Don’t go on a Tuesday or Wednesday because Candace doesn’t work those days!!!!! Coming back soon for great food and hospitality from Candace!“
“This is a local hole in the wall. It’s not fancy, but the food is GREAT and service is always timely and polite. The fish is fresh, soups are hot, tempura is crispy and not overly greasy. Shame on the people who complain about food being cold when they clearly ordered a take-out meal. Prices are more than fair. I hope to keep coming here year after year.“
“This is a great sushi place, to be sure, but it is no Dang Good Sushi. Compare the vegan volcanoes and you won't believe what one delivers for nearly half the price and twice the flavor. Nonetheless, hands down the best sushi for vegans in St. Pete proper. Amazing ambiance. Clever and interesting options, including drinks.“
