“I was craving sushi and decided to give Esushi a try. My daughter always raves about this place and I must say I enjoyed my meal. I love avocado, so I had the black dragon roll and the king of mountain. The shrimp tempura adds a nice crunch to the king of mountain roll. The overall experience was great. The place was nice, not very crowded, and the service was fast. Now I can see why my daughter always goes there.“

“Went to Hula Bay while I was in town on a Business trip. I was in the mood for some oysters on the half shell and fish tacos, so this place popped up on my search. Their main building was being renovated, so the actual restaurant area is temporarily located in the bar downstairs (Duke's). No big deal. The place was packed and everyone was having a great time. The view is amazing and the food is pretty good. They oysters were huge, super fresh and my fish tacos were delicious had a ton of fish in them.....totally worth the price. The bartenders were super friendly as well as the rest of the staff. I'm going back to Tampa next month, so I will definitely go back to devour some oysters, while drinking a cold beer and enjoy the amazing view.“

“Just left Omakase and WOW! The food is fresh, tasty and just plain amazing! Also our server Chris made our visit extra special, he was so respectful and courteous, if you’re ever in here ask for him, you won’t regret it!Anything you order from their menu is to die for, I finally found a great sushi restaurant in the area that also has Korean bbq short ribs, needless to say this is going to become our spot! Highly recommend! I wish we would’ve taken pics of all of our food, managed to take a couple but they don’t do their food justice.“

“I had the Po Boy Roll at Sakana's and it was amazing! I loved how diverse their menu was and my meal was great! I topped it off with Tempura Ice Cream which was also delicious! Sakana's tucked away, but it's a classy gem of a place and I highly recommend it!“

“Who knew this little gem existed in that strip mall off of Bloomingdale Avenue. The Godzilla Roll was out of this world amazing. I have never had a stuffed crab, but the Happy Krab was delicious. We also devoured the Out of control Roll and the Hawaiian Roll. Everything was exceptional and will most definitely be back.“

For a fantastic family good time meal, of course, the hibachi side is where you head, but if you want melt-in-your-mouth, expertly sliced and served sashimi and sushi rolls, nothing beats their sushi bar and no one beats their head chef, Kenny. Tell him what you need and let him take care of you. The servers are all delightful and the menu fits any budget. Highly recommended. Five stars.“

“The best sushi this side of the bay. I love Hooks Sushi in St. Pete, and was disappointed with the mediocre sushi when I moved to southern Hillsborough County. Enter: Sage sushi lounge. It is by far the best quality, fresh flavors, and superb service anywhere in this area. Their cooked dishes are amazing too. They're even great with kids! I really couldn't ask for more. “A staple of South Tampa.Being a non sushi lover married to a sushi fanatic can be trying. The majority of sushi houses don't leave much on the menu if sushi is not your thing. Yoko's is the exception. Many items that are fully cooked and a house rice dish that has every protein in the book. The wife loves their rolls and we have never had a bad experience.“

“SUSHI IS SUPERB! Been several times and the sushi is consistently fresh and pallet pleasing. Rarely a wait line with personable staff. One thing I love is that you have the option of walking in and sitting at the bar which offers wine, beer and specialty drinks. The service is okay, but it is the sushi chef that brings you back for more.“
