The karaage (popcorn) chicken was both my partner’s and my favorite! It was really juicy and had great flavor. You can choose from several different sauces (at least when ordering online), and we went with the garlic aioli, which paired really well with it.

We also ordered the crab “goonies” (so cute!), a Philly roll, and a tuna hand roll. The portions were generous, and we felt like we got a lot of food for what we ordered.

It’s always nice to support a local business, especially when the food is this good. We’ll definitely be back, and I have to say the karaage chicken gives Guthrie’s a run for its money!“

“The miso soup had alot of flavor, the ginger salad was good. The spicy tuna was the best I have ever had at 55 years.old I have eaten at many sushi spots, Japan and Italy also, so I no what tastes great. The chicken and noodles dish was very good. The spicy tuna was so yummy I took 2 orders home for snack and dinner. My new spot.“

“I took my father here this passed fathers day along with my mom and uncle. We were looking for hibachi cooked at your booth/table so we were initially disappointed to see that they had downsized, but the server immediately addressed that concern and explained that they have had some trouble removing the photos on google still showing the old layout. That was much appreciated. We then proceeded to enjoy everything there from the gyoza appetizer to our Hibachi meals. They were perfectly cooked, just as they would have been in front of us, with generous portions and soup and salad included. Service was fantastic and we did not regret staying despite the downsize. “We stopped for lunch after an event in Tampa. First time here! The atmosphere is unique with an huge Aloha sign on the ceiling above our table. The booths are cozy and private. The view outside is beautiful, but too hot for today. We ordered the Manhattan sushi roll and the southwest smash burger. Amanda, our server paired my sushi roll with some excellent sauces; best sushi roll I’ve ever had! My husband’s burger was awesome & sloppy, which he absolutely loves! We’ll definitely be back!“

“I come here for years. But after today's experience. I doubt I will be back. Orderd to eat in , 8 28, received to go. If we were told that they start cleaning and putting stuff away, we might have left go somewhere else. The Steak was not in my combo and qhen added it was like pork. Michael had no interest to help nor if the order is correct. Mainly interested in not to have to do dishes. Tip was not a good investment. We enjoyed coming here, food was always good, staff was thankful and cortous. We brought family even guests from Europe. It was just a not so good experience today and the time before. We will give one more shot. But we live in Bradenton and driving there seems to not be worth it anymore“
