“I’ve been coming to Yummy Tokyo for years, and I’ve always enjoyed the food here. I honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews because my experiences have been very different.
The food has always been fresh, portions are good, and the staff has been friendly. I especially enjoy their steak, hibachi, and sushi. No restaurant is perfect every single time, but based on my years of coming here, I think the recent negative reviews don’t fairly represent the restaurant.
I just wanted to share my experience and support the owners because I know how hard they work. If you haven’t tried Yummy Tokyo before, I’d recommend giving them a chance and judging for yourself. Definitely 5 stars from me!“

“Dining at Tsukino was an absolute delight. We ordered generously fully expecting to enjoy dinner there and still have plenty left for lunch the next day but the food had other plans. The rolls were so irresistibly fresh and flavorful that we happily polished off every last bite right at the table. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance of energy and comfort, and each dish arrived beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. Having visited sushi bars from Japan to San Francisco, I can say with confidence that Tsukino stands out as something truly special a place where great ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and a wonderful vibe come together in the most delicious way. 🍣✨ like its name - Tsukino… the food reflects a calm, elegant, slightly mystical vibe. My new ATF!“

“We thoroughly enjoyed the all you can eat menu, it’s the same menu as the al a carte menu. We love trying different foods and this gives us the chance for only $35. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great. She suggested the sake flight, which was amazing. My husband was able to try different flavors that he normally would not have ordered. Looking forward to going back.“

“Our favorite restaurant!!! We're regulars and have lunch there several times a month. The food is that good! Everything is always fresh and delicious! I've tried almost everything on the menu and every single item is excellent! Try the shrimp/steak hibachi when you go, my fav! Prices are very reasonable too! The staff is amazing as well! They're always super friendly, kind and deliver amazing service with a smile! Highly recommended and five stars PLUS!“

“My son and dil asked me where I wanted to eat for a belated Mother's Day dinner(my choice}. I wanted to have hibachi since I haven't had it for a long time. After reviewing what was somewhat close by and reviews, I chose Izumi. So happy I did. The food was wonderful as well as the staff, drinks, and entertainment. Told them first time there and will be back!“

“The best Thai food in Sarasota-Bradenton! I’ve come here several times, and the food is always incredible. Their Pad See Ew is my favorite ever. I always try an appetizer and I’ve never been disappointed. This time I got the curry empanadas and they were fantastic! The mango sticky rice is also to die for. The service is always top notch. I’m always seated quickly and served quickly, and the staff are so kind and helpful. Highly highly recommend!“

“The food here is authentic! It is the closest I can get to the food in VN. I had their Banh Uot, Rice with short ribs, banh mi with grilled pork, pho combination and pho ga.
Looking forward to trying their sushi, Thai, and the rest of their extensive menu.

“Listen, I’m a perfectionist. I don’t think everyone deserves a perfect review. This place however, is the best place I’ve been. My husband who is also extremely picky with sushi/seafood, etc., will not go anywhere else. His family, our family, anyone we speak to loves this place and will drive 30+ minutes even when we will pass 5+ other sushi places on the way there. When we don’t have the time we spend an extra 30+ dollars getting it delivered because we have been spoiled here.“

“I have been here twice now & both times have ordered the same. Order is Pad Woon Sen & Green Curry - both with chicken, medium heat, to-go, no bell pepper or celery.

Green curry is awesome 🤩 so good, definitely recommend.
Each meal plated 1/2 of each entree & got 3 complete meals out of this for $34.
Pad Woon Sen, (1st time), very flavorful with a lot of fresh, crunchy veggies & plenty of noodles.
Ready very quickly.
Con:
Pad Woon Sen, (2nd time), very bland with an abundance of veggies but mostly onions & carrots, not a lot of noodles ☹ & very, very dry.
They put curry in the crab rangoon so we did not order any. 😿“

“We tried Rice Bowl for the first time last night and it was all delicious. I had intended to get sushi but ordered the Chicken Udon and was so glad I did. The noodles and veggies were in a delicious broth, not in a heavy sauce. We also ordered the fried gyoza app which was delicious, and the kids meal was shrimp with fried rice which she said was amazing- and a generous portion for a kid. We will be coming back regularly- love a good sit-down Asian restaurant with a lot of options!“

“Being Asian , I want to give a resounding endorsement to this Japanese food truck – it’s an absolute gem! 🍱 I opted for the chicken and Dragon sushi, and to my surprise, it could easily satisfy my soul. The food was not just delicious but also impressively fresh, served piping hot, and delivered with lightning speed. Watching the chef prepare it right before my eyes was a delightful experience, and knowing that all the ingredients were cooked to order, made it even. This food truck has quickly become my top spot, and I genuinely hope they stick around for a long time! 😊“

“My wife and I came for dinner. The New Age Flatbread was AWESOME. Crust was amazing.. Shrimp Cocktail Great! and Osso Bucco was to die for! The meat fell off the bone and melted in you mouth. Kirby was our server and was just terrific.. She was friendly and very attentive.“

“Being from NY I know good Chinese food. I'm not sure why this restaurant doesn't have more stars? I have been going here for years. The food is always tasty and fresh. It also feels warm, inviting, calm and relaxing. I've tried every Chinese buffet in Sarasota & Bradenton and this is the only one I continue to go back to.“

“My friend and I went on Saturday night. We both had a drink and ordered appetizer while looking at the menu. Our waiter was right there with our hot appetizer within minutes. We both ordered shrimp and scallops coleslaw hush puppies along with our fried calamari appetizer. Our food was one of the best we've had in and around Bradenton/Sarasota. The atmosphere was perfect and service was the best. I cant wait to go back.“
