45 Best Sushi Bars near Lakewood Ranch

“We thoroughly enjoyed the all you can eat menu, it’s the same menu as the al a carte menu. We love trying different foods and this gives us the chance for only $35. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great. She suggested the sake flight, which was amazing. My husband was able to try different flavors that he normally would not have ordered. Looking forward to going back.“

“This place is my all time favorite. The lava rock is just a neat experience overall. They have a unique variety of sushi rolls as well. I’ve been there probably over 20 times and it’s just amazing. ❤️“

“Best Thai food I've had! The Chirashi bowl was also amazing! It was so good that we drove 30 minutes to come back the next day for lunch. Got two rolls and another Chirashi bowl! AMAZING AGAIN! Service was top notch. Our waters stayed full both visits and we were always made to feel like part of their family. The place was quiet and the music was just right! We will definitely come back when we are in town again!“

“Thank you, Grove, for a wonderful breakfast celebrating our friend! You graciously accommodated about 28 of us for an early Sunday morning brunch, and we truly appreciated the extra touches you provided for our group. The food was delicious, and Danielle did a fabulous job taking care of us and supporting her co-workers. Jennifer, the manager was very helpful! :)“

“This place has ruined me for sushi anywhere else. I pass 6 student sushi places just to come here and spend 30% more, because there is no comparison. Triple tail roll with extra yuzu kosho on the side. I can recumbent it enough. I didn't know sushi could be so fresh.“

“Dining at Tsukino was an absolute delight. We ordered generously fully expecting to enjoy dinner there and still have plenty left for lunch the next day but the food had other plans. The rolls were so irresistibly fresh and flavorful that we happily polished off every last bite right at the table. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance of energy and comfort, and each dish arrived beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. Having visited sushi bars from Japan to San Francisco, I can say with confidence that Tsukino stands out as something truly special a place where great ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and a wonderful vibe come together in the most delicious way. 🍣✨ like its name - Tsukino… the food reflects a calm, elegant, slightly mystical vibe. My new ATF!“

“An absolute culinary delight. We have been here six years and now we have finally found a Lakewood Ranch sushi house that delivers flavor, presentation, and explosions of taste. The decor is absolutely on point for Main Street. Well done, Daniel.“

“What a gem! The food was AMAZING! We ordered hibachi and rolls from the lunch menu. Portions were plentiful. Service was great- our server was super friendly. We’ll definitely be back.“

“This place is phenomenal and worth every penny! We are very picky about our sushi and this place exceeded all our expectations! Great quality of food, abundant selection of choices, calm and ambient atmosphere, very sweet waitresses, Ivy and Winnie. We just totally fell in love with this place. 10000% highly recommend and will be back!“

“Pleasantly surprised at how fresh and delicious the sushi was. Great customer service, specials, and quality. We will definitely be back.“

“I’ve been coming here for a few years now. I love when I ask someone if they’ve ever eaten here and they tell me no. Not only do I get to introduce them to this amazing restaurant, amazing owners and staff, and hands down the best Thai and sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to, I also get an excuse to come eat the things I know I like or try new things. Definitely come try this place if you haven’t yet. I’m writing this review as I sit here waiting for sushi…. I was just here last night eating sushi…. This place is a problem for me. 😅🤣“

“Tasty food , nice environment and excellent service. Best in town!“

“This is by far the best sushi I’ve had in town! I personally love their Fruitville Roll and a small Veggie Soup! And all their bobas are amazing! It’s a must stop in Sarasota!“

“My friend and I went on Saturday night. We both had a drink and ordered appetizer while looking at the menu. Our waiter was right there with our hot appetizer within minutes. We both ordered shrimp and scallops coleslaw hush puppies along with our fried calamari appetizer. Our food was one of the best we've had in and around Bradenton/Sarasota. The atmosphere was perfect and service was the best. I cant wait to go back.“

“My son and dil asked me where I wanted to eat for a belated Mother's Day dinner(my choice}. I wanted to have hibachi since I haven't had it for a long time. After reviewing what was somewhat close by and reviews, I chose Izumi. So happy I did. The food was wonderful as well as the staff, drinks, and entertainment. Told them first time there and will be back!“

“Our favorite restaurant!!! We're regulars and have lunch there several times a month. The food is that good! Everything is always fresh and delicious! I've tried almost everything on the menu and every single item is excellent! Try the shrimp/steak hibachi when you go, my fav! Prices are very reasonable too! The staff is amazing as well! They're always super friendly, kind and deliver amazing service with a smile! Highly recommended and five stars PLUS!“

“Awesome sushi - as always!“

“The 💣 diggity 🍣 🍱. Not only is the food out of this world but the atmosphere is killer. The 1st time we ate there the one and only 🎙️Mick Jagger was there. 5 ⭐️“

“The food here is authentic! It is the closest I can get to the food in VN. I had their Banh Uot, Rice with short ribs, banh mi with grilled pork, pho combination and pho ga.

Looking forward to trying their sushi, Thai, and the rest of their extensive menu.

The service here is also very fast!“

“The best poke and ramen spot in Sarasota!! So many fresh and healthy options, it never disappoints 🥰“

“We went late Sunday evening, right before closing and Renzo was the absolute best. So kind, patient and the best customer service given even with the restaurant almost closing. He even went out of his way to give us the sauce I wanted that they didn’t have readily made. This was our second time at this spot and definitely won’t be our last - we love the food and having someone like Renzo made the experience all that much sweeter tonight.

Highly recommend this place for your poke fix!“

“Red Curry and any 🍣, fast service.“

“I have been here twice now & both times have ordered the same. Order is Pad Woon Sen & Green Curry - both with chicken, medium heat, to-go, no bell pepper or celery.
Pro:
Followed special instructions perfectly!
Green curry is awesome 🤩 so good, definitely recommend.
Each meal plated 1/2 of each entree & got 3 complete meals out of this for $34.
Pad Woon Sen, (1st time), very flavorful with a lot of fresh, crunchy veggies & plenty of noodles.
Ready very quickly.
Con:
Pad Woon Sen, (2nd time), very bland with an abundance of veggies but mostly onions & carrots, not a lot of noodles ☹ & very, very dry.
They put curry in the crab rangoon so we did not order any. 😿“

“We eat here several times a month and have never had a bad meal! The staff is friendly and efficient and the owners have done a wonderful job accommodating my gluten allergy. It's always clean and open later than many places in town. I highly recommend you give them a try!“

“Very authentic! Felt like I was at the neighborhood gathering spot in Seoul. Food was excellent, but the staff were the best part! Warm welcoming and adorable!!!“

“We enjoy the sashimi lunch!“

“We tried Rice Bowl for the first time last night and it was all delicious. I had intended to get sushi but ordered the Chicken Udon and was so glad I did. The noodles and veggies were in a delicious broth, not in a heavy sauce. We also ordered the fried gyoza app which was delicious, and the kids meal was shrimp with fried rice which she said was amazing- and a generous portion for a kid. We will be coming back regularly- love a good sit-down Asian restaurant with a lot of options!“

“If you’re on Siesta Key and craving amazing Thai food, I highly recommend Star Thai & Sushi Siesta Key! The flavors are authentic and fresh, the sushi is top-notch, and the service is always friendly. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot to unwind after a day at the beach. Don’t miss this gem!“

“Being Asian , I want to give a resounding endorsement to this Japanese food truck – it’s an absolute gem! 🍱 I opted for the chicken and Dragon sushi, and to my surprise, it could easily satisfy my soul. The food was not just delicious but also impressively fresh, served piping hot, and delivered with lightning speed. Watching the chef prepare it right before my eyes was a delightful experience, and knowing that all the ingredients were cooked to order, made it even. This food truck has quickly become my top spot, and I genuinely hope they stick around for a long time! 😊“

“Everything was fresh and delicious. Staff was very accommodating. Welcome to the neighborhood!“

“Fantastic value! Great quality! You can’t find a better deal than their $10 for 3 rolls. This place is going to be my go to spot. You seriously can’t beat that deal. Everything tasted great and fresh.“

“I had an amazing meal at this Thai restaurant in downtown Sarasota! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The flavors of the dishes were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the green curry, it was rich, creamy, and just the right amount of spicy! The spring rolls were the perfect appetizer, crisp and full of flavor. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the entire experience felt delightful. If you’re looking for a fantastic Thai dining experience, this place is a gem! I can’t wait to return!“
