“Not your typical plaza sushi place. Everything tasted fresh and you can tell they make their roles very uniquely and put a little spin on the typical roll. I like the spice level in the rolls and they have them marked pretty well in the menu, which ones are spicey. Interior is little dated, but was clean and service was good.“

“I can’t believe it’s been over 3 years since Noble Rice opened and this was our very first visit! It absolutely blew us away. The service was impeccable. Hostess Angel greeted us warmly, and our server Allison A. was simply outstanding ~ easily one of the best experiences we’ve had anywhere in Tampa. We started with drinks, and every single one was perfect. The Lychee Martini was smooth and floral, the Espresso Martini had just the right kick, and the Haku ~ their version of a Moscow Mule ~ was phenomenal. My husband is a self-proclaimed Moscow Mule connoisseur, and he gave it high praise. The food? Next-level. The Tuna Carpaccio was the star of the show ~ literally melted in our mouths. We also loved the Classic Poké, Tempura Poké Rolls, and the Tekka Roll ~ all fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented with different types of soy causes for each. The only item that didn’t quite hit the mark for us was the Hanabi Maki ~ still very fresh, just not our personal favorite. I’m sure many others enjoy it! What really stood out was the service ~ something that has unfortunately been on the decline across Tampa in recent years. But at Noble Rice, everyone went above and beyond. Allison didn’t just take our order, she asked thoughtful questions about our taste preferences, made drink and dessert recommendations (the Panna Cotta dessert was heavenly), and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Our only wish? Larger portions ~ because everything was so good, we didn’t want it to end. An amazing 18th anniversary dinner!! We’ll absolutely be back. If you prefer cooked sushi rolls, I probably wouldn’t recommend coming during lunch since the selection was very limited. They may have more options during dinner, but based on my lunch experience, I was expecting a little more.“

“I came with my friends for the last money, I couldn’t leave a lot of tips - I simply gave everything I could. The waiter ran out into the street to the car to express her dissatisfaction about the amount of tips. It can be understood that work is difficult, but not everyone is able to leave a lot of tips. “On a whim stopped by to snag some sushi and it was decently surprised about how utterly delicious it was. The portions were stellar and flavors married together very nicely. We ordered to go and they had out 5 rolls ready in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend!!“

“Overall, I thought this restaurant was good, but I don’t think it was up to par with the Michelin service/food that’s usually expected. My friend and I are on the younger side and it was very obvious that we were being treated differently than some of the older people in the restaurant. We also were sitting in the middle of the restaurant, so my food was not coming out at the same time as my guest’s food, as we had separate chefs. The sushi was pretty solid, but I don’t think it was anything to rave about. What I did really enjoy was the duck and the Wagyu, which were the last two courses. If I were to do it over again, I would probably only get drinks and food at Tanto. We did not do the wine pairing, but had a bottle of wine. Our bill for 2 was $900.“

“I've been to Samurai Blue a few times now, and it has become one of my favorite sushi spots in Tampa. The fish has always tasted fresh, and I've never had a bad roll. The service is friendly without feeling rushed, and the staff is always happy to answer questions or make recommendations. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere that's great for either a casual dinner or a date night. While it's a little more expensive than some other sushi restaurants, I think the quality and experience make it worth the price. I'll definitely be back.“

A big thank you to Devin and Andrew for being the perfect servers - your professionalism and courtesy were head and shoulders above any other place we ate at on our trip. While I really enjoyed the two "main" meals I had (the Gulf Gruper sandwich and the crab and shrimp enchiladas), I have to mention the teriyaki lightning wings...the sauce was so good I could have swum in it. There was water leaking from the roof on the feather bowling side and it was dripping on us while we were playing. But it was raining that day so we were already soaked. Otherwise the food was great.
