“I have been coming to Crazy Cafe for over 10 years now, at least twice a month if not weekly. Out of all of the sushi places I have tried and frequented, this is my absolute favorite sushi location in all of Tampa Bay! The food is delicious, from sushi boats, sushi, sashimi, specialty rolls, hibachi, tempura, and more, everything is always very fresh and beautifully presented. The staff, especially Eva, are always so kind, efficient, and caring. Eva always takes the time to ask about my day, my work, and life in general. I always feel so welcomed and leave feeling full and happy! The service is absolutely top notch and very quick too! The location itself is very beautiful, with very detailed decor and a large dining space. They always have relaxing music playing which creates a lovely atmosphere overall. Finding these hidden gems definitely makes for an unforgettable experience. My favorite dish (there were so many out of 10 courses) was probably the Buri Nitsuke, a traditional Japanese dish featuring simmered yellowtail in a flavorful broth. The yellowtail absorbs the flavors from the sauce, making it tender and succulent. It was comforting and satisfying. It is very affordable, the food is great, the environment and service are great, and for some reason there are rarely many other people there. It has become one of our favorite places to go. After looking at the reviews I decided to go for it and glad I did. The take out was great, and they put a nice amount of meat in the dishes,( I've only eaten the chinese here).Since then we've dined in and gotten take out on a couple of occasions. Everything has always been tasty and fresh. Their dishes also taste like they're supposed to. In other words they don't all taste the same like some Chinese restaurants.Believe they are always "slow" because it's a weird location, but definitely worth the drive. I love avocado, so I had the black dragon roll and the king of mountain. The shrimp tempura adds a nice crunch to the king of mountain roll. The overall experience was great.
