“Went for dinner with two friends and had a great time. We ordered each 2 kinds of sushi and most of it was good but I didn’t care for the CORAL REEF ROLL (one of my 2). The pieces were huge (which I would normally not complain about at all) and because of that it was hard to eat it - you can barely fit it in your mouth in one piece, but if you bite half off of it, it falls apart… wasn’t hot about the sauce it came with either, the other sushi was great tho…
We also had hot & cold sake and a beer. All of them were good.
Service was great and so was the atmosphere
Vegetarian options: Many meatless options, great for pescatarians, just a few options for those who don’t eat meat and fish…
Parking: It was after 7pm on a week day and the little plaza was BUSY!!
Kid-friendliness: Yes, multiple families were dining there
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, ground floor“

This is hands down the best sushi spot in town! The miso soup is incredible, and the quality of the ingredients in every dish is top-notch. The service is always welcoming and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh, delicious sushi and great service. You won’t be disappointed!“

“Ok so, i paid ALOT of money for this, $710 solo dining. Worth every dollar. Couldn't be happier. Had like 4 dishes that were better than anything ive ever had in my entire life. The wine and sake pairings were fantastic and i hate wine and i hate sake. Only thing id say is i think the caviar and truffle add on isnt worth it for $105. The wagyu steak sando is the greatest thing ive ever eaten with the sea urchin apple crisp and milk bread dish coming in as a photo finish. Absolutely worth every dollar.“

“This place is an absolute gem, and I can barely contain how much I want to share! I went with my mother on the fly one day during for lunch on a weekday. Every single dish we tried was flawless—beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and crafted with clear attention to detail. The service was top-notch from start to finish; our waiter not only gave excellent recommendations but also kept our drinks filled and checked in thoughtfully without being overbearing.
The tuna nachos? Absolutely phenomenal—the tempura was perfectly crisp, and they serve their bento meals in actual bento boxes, which was such a charming and delightful touch. The sashimi was as fresh as it gets, and I can’t rave enough about the sushi rice! It was warm, fluffy, and seasoned to perfection—usually, I don’t even notice the rice, but this was unforgettable.
I was so blown away by the whole experience that I tipped both our waiter and the sushi chefs who made it all possible. Then, something amazing happened—they invited me to stay a bit longer and surprised me with a special salmon dish. The chef mentioned it was incredibly fresh, and let me tell you, that taste is something I’ll never forget. I don’t even know what it was called, but it was the highlight of our visit, and such a thoughtful gesture made the experience even more memorable.
It’s a rare find to have such a fantastic spot so close by. I’m already planning to become a regular and can’t wait to bring my boyfriend next time he's in town. I love this place and cannot recommend it enough—it’s truly an experience you don’t want to miss!“

“I came by today specifically for the Onigiri and they were, unfortunately, out. I had driven from Bradenton for one of these amazing rice balls, but was fine driving away empty-handed because I understood they sell out of these delicious hand-made treats. The owner had the chef whip me up a Tuna and Mayo Onigiri real quick, and I have to say it was one of the best quick foods I've ever had. I will 100% be back. Thank you so much for taking the time to make it for me!!“

“We ordered a chicken teriyaki entree with mixed vegetables and steamed white rice to go. It took about 10 minutes after ordering to get my lunch. We shared this 1 entree. Very good in taste, and warm when We picked it up.
Chicken had a nice teriyaki glaze, along with the veggies. Will visit again when in the Brandon area.“

“This is such a nice spot. Food was fresh and delicious. Drinks were amazing. My friend lost her card and the staff was looking all over for it. They even offered to take her number in case it turned up. Excellent service. Great vibe for date night or chill night with friends.“

“There's so much attention to detail here but I didn't really have a wow moment with the food. I think my favorite dish from the fall menu was the duck breast with persimmons and the scallops. We also did the premium wine/sake pairing and to be honest, I didn't find it worth it.
The first champagne we were served had a really lovely hint of apple but after I ate the scallops (the paired dish), I couldn't taste the apple anymore. At first, the server would tell us about each pairing but halfway through, he just stopped. Overall, it was a pleasant experience but when you consider the price point, I would just expect a little more in terms of the food itself and the wine/sake. The presentation was beautiful though“

“Classy joint. Swank digs. Best sushi I have had in years, prices were fair. It appears that they have a VIP lounge for private events. The front entrance is a little unclear, but I get it with prevailing winds that you have a side door strategy. It's equally great for business meals or a Friday night date. Loads of young professionals always are at the tables and the bar. Everyone is so friendly, even the guests. A coat check on rainy days (or hurricane days) would be great. The huge ceilings swallow the din of the room.
Haiku is easily Las Vegas posh in every way. I'm new to Tampa still, but I wish I knew what else the owner runs.
My first night here was a special day for me. I hope other restaurant-goers will choose Haiku for their special occasions.
To waitress Kendra, pro tip: learn the menu better by talking to the cooks more. Get passionate about the food.
Parking: Better to walk here or get a ride share/taxi.
Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is level and the whole restaurant is smooth and clear. The hostess stand is right by the entrance. Knock on the glass and they will gladly get the door. For vision impaired guests, they will gladly escort you through the restaurant to your table. I'm not sure if they have a braille menu, but most of the staff has the menu memorized. I'm experienced with guests that have an impairment and they are very glad you have come and know the balance between dignity and needs.“

“Really good! Would highly recommend!
We were 3 people and it was about ~$85 for all of us? We ordered: Mango Peach Tea w/ popping mango boba, 2 strawberry soufflé pancakes and a mango soufflé pancake & 3 fish thingy pepperoni flavored.
It was not so busy if you get there as soon as they open but it goes busier as time passed. The drinks took ~10 mins from when we sat and waited. Then it was about 20-30 mins after to get the pancakes. We didn’t mind the wait since we were there to enjoy but it was definitely a cool experience. The pancakes we loved the most) because it melted in our mouths.“

“I can confidently say that Ebisu Sushi is hands down my favorite restaurant in Tampa. We visit 1-3 times a week, and each experience is consistently fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is top-notch—the speed at which they prepare and serve the food is almost unbelievable.
As for the food itself, it’s phenomenal. My go-to favorites are the Hawaiian and Florida rolls, which never disappoint. Lately, we’ve been branching out and trying one of their specialty rolls every time we visit, and honestly, I haven’t had a single one that I didn’t love. It’s hard to recommend just one because they’re all so delicious!
If you’re a sushi lover in Tampa, Ebisu is a must-try. I couldn’t imagine a better spot for fresh, fast, and consistently amazing sushi.
Parking: The parking lot at Ebisu Sushi is on the smaller side and can feel a bit crowded at times. We often prefer to walk when we can, but on the occasions we do drive, we’ve always been able to find parking without an issue.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ebisu Sushi is fully accessible, featuring a convenient ramp into the restaurant. This ensures easy access for all guests, making it a great spot for everyone to enjoy their meal comfortably.“

“Popped into here the other day for lunch and was impressed with the value of the food for the price. I had a poke bowl with 3 different kinds of fish and it was all delicious. Definitely would go back. Sushi places have become so expensive that I don't like going to them much anymore, but this place I can still swing sometimes. Will definitely go back to try the rolls.
Recommend!“

“Since I moved to the Wimauma area, I have been on a journey to find the best of the best when it comes to sushi-- it's practically a food group to me. Sticky Rice not only offers respectably large portions, but a artful attention to serving temperature and texture that you typically don't find outside of high-end sushi oriented restaurants in larger markets. they offer a large but comprehensive menu, consideration for allergens, and the fact that it's family owned makes this one very hard to pass over and ignore. I've been routinely making this my exclusive place for sushi, date nights, and celebratory special occasion dinners. if you're getting your sushi from anywhere else in the area, You're simply doing it wrong! always get the off charge for real wasabi. your palate will thank you. 10/10.“
