“This was my first time going to Sushi Yama and my first time in a long while going to an AYCE sushi place and I have to say that everything was excellent.
Firstly, our server Layla was fantastic. She was, helpful, accommodating, and made the night enjoyable with her friendly energy while explaining how everything worked.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The decor is very nice, it's very clean, and the music was at the perfect volume with it being loud enough to hear but not drown out conversation at your own table.
Every. Dish. Was. Excellent. We tried a bit of everything while there and everything was fresh, tasty, and presented perfectly.

“Absolutely fantastic food, I'm so happy they opened a location here in Pinellas Park. A friend introduced me to Pepper Lunch and have been back a few times since. Great flavors and quality ingredients. The pepper steak with rice and the curry hamburger with rice are my favorites so far.“

Update. Flavours have been uprising and a great local spot to come have sushi. Got the miso soup 10/10, the Naruto roll I believe, it has no ice and was delicious and healthy 10/10 and the fried calamari. I wasn't too happy Abt it since it looks kinda raw in some areas of the octopus? I didn't know if I could eat it and mostly ate the tentacles“

“We have visited here in the past when it was Nigori Sushi. Great place then also. This has switched to Chinese food. No sushi is offered now. The food is very good! We ordered crab rangoon, chicken with cashews. Staff was very polite and our order came quickly. We ordered a glass of Chardonnay $10 but gracious pour. It's was a little warm inside but maybe air was out. It was very hot today. Great experience, will try again!“

“I just went for my birthday with a friend. The servers and chef were all attentive and friendly. I got the hibachi chicken and shrimp meal. The food was very good and the portions were huge. I really appreciated that they didn’t make us join another group. The decor is so cool and pretty. It’s a great place to celebrate a special occasion. There’s also a regular dining area that looks like a good date spot. I’ll definitely go back!“

“We ate there last night with my daughter and some families. I find this place very nice and friendly environment. The food was freshly made right in front of us which the chef was awesome. The waiter we had there was very nice. I would recommend this to all my friends and family“
“Oh yeah!! Now we're talking! Great food, GIANT portions, 5 star service, amazing price! EVERYTHING I look for in a restaurant. I can't believe this was only 16 bucks! Salmon and chicken! Got some coupons in the mail that even scored me a free appetizer with 15 dollar purchase! Noticed BOGO krab rangoons on sign upon entering. Place is rather upscale and cozy on the inside with a good amount of tables to eat at. Thanks for such a great place, I'll be back!“

“First time trying this restaurant out, came here for lunch. Absolutely fantastic! Excellent large selection of food options, had a a wonderful, very attentive server named Anna. My husband and I, opted for sushi. Food was so fresh, plated visually appealing. Hibachi service available here also as well. My only suggestion to patrons be mindful of AYCE pricing as restaurant has several menu options with different pricing.“

“Loved this surprise we drove by tonight and stopped in for dinner. Had the best sushi! We got the spicy tuna, the Pimp daddy and the spider. All 3 were Fantastic and was really impressed by the quality of even the spicy tuna roll! Enjoyed the Karage appetizer which was like a very crispy boneless wing. Loved the presentation of the sushi on the cool racing flag board. Great atmosphere inside as well. Thanks for the nice supper“

“First time trying Shiso, Samuel was very nice & answered all my questions. The decor is super cute & I love the indoor/outdoor options. The food was pretty good & they had some vegan options. W shiso. I got the garlic chive Rangoon which was 10/10 & the garlic chili mandu dumplings. I’ve never had mandu before it was kinda odd tasting but not in a bad way. I’ll be back for sure“

“Good food portions, reasonably priced. Labeled Japanese but closer to Chinese? Doesn’t have all your traditional Chinese menu items but then also has sushi rolls. A little different spin on some things but in a positive way. Definitely recommend. And order ahead and use the drive thru for pick up, so nice!“

“We had a young lady named Evelyn, she was training we believe but also took orders alone. She was hands down one of the best servers we have had at this place. Not only was she friendly, she was so sweet, calm, and quick on her feet. She was also very pretty and looked very well kept as well as the other young lady working. We left a $15 cash tip for her because her work was unbelievable. She made sure our drinks were filled, made sure we were having a good time, made sure our food was good, and was picking up trash from our table that my daughter and son would drop. Very professional and kind. We will be coming back due to her service and kindness. Thank you Evelyn for your kindness and service, you deserve a raise!“

“Our server Adriana was such a sweet girl. She was patient and attentive. AYCE sushi buffet was good. I'm a vegetarian and had several options. The tempura banana with pumpkin ice cream was a treat for dessert. The only thing I was disappointed in was the hot and sour soup. It just didn't do for me. I got tofu hibachi with vegetables and fried rice, a tofu roll, some sweet potato rolls, avocado roll and some Thai iced tea. I got to try a bite of my friend's avocado salad and green bean hibachi. Great choices. Had a nice time. Good service. I was just visiting town for a short trip. Happy I stumbled into this place. Would visit again.“
