“After another favorite spot closed, I tried to find another that had just as good food. This is it. The owners are absolutely awesome and make great food with good portions. Definitely less expensive than other places, especially paying for a show, but I highly recommend trying their food!“
“The service here was amazing. One of the best sushi places in the St Pete/Tampa area. The taste of the maki rolls here are delicious. I have been looking for a sushi place to go to and I have now found my new favorite place to get my sushi fix from now on! I highly recommend everyone to try this place!“
“Food was very good, but what set the experience apart from your typical fast service dining experience was the great service, especially from the manager Shaq. He made sure to introduce himself to us and told us about the store and went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our experience. We will return here because of Shaq.“
“I was saying this a couple of times in Tampa Bay Area restaurants, but now I mean it. This is the best sushi I’ve ever tried in my life! We tasted a lot, but sashimi set and "Godzilla" sushi were just perfect. Very nice service and atmosphere. Thanks a lot!“
“We’ve never had all you can eat sushi before so for the price we were SUPER skeptical going in.If you’re going for dinner make a reservation ahead of the time because they were fully booked out for the night by 3PM on a Saturday. After eating I can see why. It was AMAZING. everything from the food, to service to atmosphere. The sushi rolls came out fast and were delicious.I can’t speak highly enough of this place and we can’t wait to bring our friends back to try everything!!I didn’t take pictures of everything we ate because we were so hungry but overall experience is a 10/10!!“
“The service here is very fast! We can get in and out on an hour lunch break! The food is wonderfully delicious! I love their build your own bowls and they have a wide variety so you can get different stuff every time. We love their deep fried bagel roll and it's hands down the best sushi on the menu. They have recently added a fuller sushi menu and today we did the Kappy deluxe it was great.“
“i was recommended this restaurant by the workers at another vegan restaurant in the tampa/st petersburg area, and i'm so glad i checked it out!the restaurant itself is beautiful, with lots of open space, plants, and a generally welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. the service was a little bit on the slow side, but it was during brunch so i wasn't pressed about it or anything.we ordered the slam grand and the wild mushroom omelet for brunch, and both were delicious! i know it is just egg, but an omelet as perfect and flavorful as the one we were served is still rather impressive. the omelet was stuffed with mushrooms, kale, and feta, and it was hard to believe it was vegan. similarly, the slam grand (pancakes, eggs, and bacon or sausage) was super realistic! i loved the pancakes, and while the bacon wasn't super crispy, it both looked and tasted exactly like bacon.while i have not been here for dinner so i can't speak on that, i'd definitely return for brunch and recommend it to anybody looking for some delicious and realistic vegan food as well as some genuinely good vibes.“
“I have been coming here for the last year and a half. Noticed a post where owners is always there and cares for his good and quality. I drive about 45 minutes to eat here regularly and will not stop any time in near future. Food is amazing and servers are always a delight not matter who takes care of me. FOOD IS AMAZING. I only order the specialty rolls and the tuna sashimi.“
“A hidden gem within St Pete beach. Stumbled upon this place when searching for restaurants around St Pete beach and was pleasantly surprised. We were seated immediately upon walking in for dinner.Service was lovely. Their ingredients were fresh, and the crispy tofu poke bowl was 10/10. Very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend this place! Get here early though, because this place fills up quickly for dinner.“
“I've been trying just about every sushi place that I encounter. I have yet to eat at one that I found was disgusting or even below average. Charlie's sushi was delicious and I'm looking forward to going back and ordering a variety so that I can leave more of a detailed review. If you are considering sushi at Charlie's then I highly recommend adding Charlie's to the list of must try. You won't be disappointed.“
“This place was amazing! The staff was clean, fast and friendly. Jordan was a great host very accommodating. This is my first time within the building. Answered all my questions before I began ordering. definitely coming back! highly recommend!“
“Yaki-mono is a must for delicious food, awesome service & great atmosphere.Top spot. We will absolutely come back EVERYTIME.Dietary restrictions: I am glucose intolerant and was able to substitute rice noodles. The food is outstanding. Filling and delicious.Parking: Parking here was no problem. Visible signs warn people about towing. As long as you can read, you're safe.“
“I’ve been enjoying Sushi Rock Grill for a very long time. Anytime I’m in the area I always make sure to stop by and enjoy their creations.I had the Sushi Nachos and the Volcano Lobster. I also enjoy The Pear chilled sake.Wonderful meal as always.“
“Casual setting spot next to Williams Park. Seating was on the smaller side so I wouldn’t bring a huge party here. Miso soup was spot on. Fish was FRESH. The kani roll was yummy and topped with a lot of crab. Service was also great! Will be back for sure.“
“Sake selection is was excellent and unusual. The fish was fresh, rolls a decent size, decent price, and the staff were kind and attentive.Look past the fact that it’s in a strip mall, because this place can compete with any sushi place around.“
“The food was excellent, we had the sirloin and the chicken, sooo good. Service was good, we had a young man serving that did a great job. Very personable. Really the only down side was the cold wind coming through the windows, this restaurant is roof top and open air. I'm sure on warmer days it is amazing. Beautiful views of the bay.“
“This little gem was a massive surprise. I just happened to Google sushi restaurants nearby as I was trying to find a place to grab a bite to eat while rush hour traffic died down. So glad Google led me here! The sushi is fresh and delicious! Beautiful presentation and top-notch service. I would recommend this place to anyone. I just wish I lived close enough to come over and over and over again.“
“If yall don't like this place, I don't like you! This is my GO TO sushi Sunday spot! $3 delivery, I repeat no crazy uber eats fees, $3 freaking delivery. And its always so stinking quick. I've never waiting more than 45 minutes for delivery. Food is always banging, they never forget our sauces or skimp on them. Their doughnuts are a must try. Sushi is fresh! Best ginger dressing of all time. Literal tyrone area hidden gem.“
“We recently dined at Sekushi and I must say it was an exceptional experience! The service was top-notch, with a friendly and attentive staff that made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was delicious, with a wide of options to choose from, all prepared with fresh ingredients and expertly crafted. Not to mention, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and service provided. The owner Frank even stopped by to ensure we were well cared for. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great sushi dining experience in Largo, it was worth the 35 minute drive from St Pete. Five stars all the way“
“Sushi was solid. The yellowtail jalapeño appetizer in particular was great. Edamame was evenly seasoned, which is nice to avoid competition for the salt-bombs.Fried rice felt a bit haphazard: too busy with mixed vegetable ingredients, could use more egg. Teriyaki chicken cubes thrown on top didn't really meld with the rest of it.Ramen looked questionable.Stick to their obvious strengths/namesake and pretend the other stuff isn't on the menu.Staff was a bit busy but helpful and courteous.“
“Great food. Entertaining chef. Great atmosphere. It was a fun night. We ordered the shrimp which included 10 shrimp, clear soup, salad, noodles, rice. It was very filling. $23.50Kid-friendliness: They had chicken strip meal for kids with French fries $11“
“We were a little taken back by location. But, the service was excellent! We did Hibachi style. Our cook was fantastic! Everything was very good. My steak was nice and tender. Excellent portions. The sushi was very fresh and well made. Prices are comparable to other Hibachi places in the area. Honestly, we thought it was better tasting than Kobè's Hibachi restaurant. Plus, you don't have to put reservations on credit card to make/hold a reservation. Will definitely return here.“
“I got the hibachi on the condition that I could try some of their sushi, and I’m glad I struck that deal. The sushi was very good, and so was the hibachi!! I thought the rice and noodles were pretty authentic. All of the sushi rolls were good!“
“I used to come to this sushi restaurant often many years ago, but I'm sad to say I haven't been here in a hot minute with all the new sushi places opening :(. Thankfully, my niece was craving sushi and picked Ichiban so I was excited to try them out after all these years. They are currently only open for take out. We placed our order in by phone and picked up shortly after. Updated menu is online. We ordered the SHRIMP VOLCANO, GATOR ROLL, and TUNA TORNADO. My niece is normally a volcano lover, but this time she fell in love with the GATOR ROLL. It was saucy and generously covered with krab sticks. We will definitely be ordering that roll again. The other rolls were also good -- rolled tightly and just the right amount of rice. I also ordered tuna nigiri and was happy that it was good quality and fresh tasting. Will have to order again to try out some of their newer rolls. Definitely recommend trying them out.“
“Always wanted to come here and it looked closed but because they're construction next door. It's so quiet inside and they give you a spring roll and soup as per lunch complementary ?I had the yellow curry and it was delicious(slightly salty for me). I wish the stock itself was a bit thicker so I could taste more of it while eating, as well they just put chunks of potato in the curry? Should cut them down because they were still raw.My boyfriend had a chef special and really liked it, was fascinating to see actually pieces of cashews as well!We also tried their sushi out and it was delicious we had no complaints ?Had to try their version of Thai tea as well and it was tasty. A bit too sweet for me personally.Need to try some other dishes.“
“Everything about this place was amazing. Very personal and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The freshness of the fish was top notch. Worth every penny! I wish I lived near by so I could enjoy this delicacy all the time. Definitely a top highlight of my visit to Florida!“
“We decided to try a new place for lunch. Food was fresh and tasty. I thought prices were competitive with surrounding areas and portions were generous. My veggie fried qyoza was delish! The chicken had a little too much fat on it for my co workers dish. But overall definitely returning and trying other items. Service was fast and friendly. Very clean establishment as well.“
“My husband and I absolutely love this place. We come here regularly for their $12 dinner special. For $12 you get 3 types of rolls, a side, and miso soup. Not only is it a great deal, but their food tastes amazing. This is a small family owned business and the owners have always been friendly and attentive to us. It’s not a fancy place by any means, but that is just what I love about it and it’s cozy inside. Our favorite dinner roll is their Tampa roll - simple and delicious.“
“So I order to go from them once in a whileEach time I order they call my cell from the street to co.e and take the food.... for some reason they don't come to the front door. I also noticed that each time I come outside they on the phone probably making sure nothing happens to them so they want to leave the phone on??Anyway the food is usually ok bu my last order it was a mess . The veggie lo main looked like they just throw it in the box and I ordered a large meal. Before I used to get more and split it but this time I think it was small. The sushi is ok but no matter how many different sushi you order they put them all in the same box!!!“
“Food is on point. Normally get it through their drive through but sometimes the delivery service is necessary. My mom's recovering from surgery and ordered delivery at around 6:30, was quoted 45 min to an hour, and the food only came at 9 pm. It was impossible for my mom to reach them by phone for a while, when I reached them at 8:15 they said it would be 5 minutes, but it wasn't. She's a great weekly repeat customer, tips even in the drive through, but they just kept lying or not having the staff to handle phones. We can understand getting slammed and could have worked with that but give a reasonable estimate. The best part? Mom got someone else's order. Edit a few minutes later: after a couple tries to get in touch with them and let them know we have someone else's order, hopefully to get ours, they hung up oh her and now their phone go to a busy signal now. lol. 9:40 edit, was able to get in touch with them, let them know, and they redelivered the correct meals.“
“Saki has been a staple for me and my family, for years. Being a local who was born and raised in Florida, this place is a must visit. If you enjoy sushi AND hibachi then you’ve found the best place in the county. It’s all you can eat which is a steal considering most other sushi places are $10 bucks a roll. This is $25 and you can get as many rolls, apps, hibachi, and other menu items as you please. Both locations are great and we’ve only had great service and great food every time we eat here.“
“Visiting the area and was looking for Sushi for dinner. Found that they were close by. After I arrived I asked for suggestions for rolls with Salmon. After ordering the suggestions I got it to-go and headed back to my hotel to eat. I was VERY happy with the rolls. The Salmon was fresh and delicious. The staff was very nice.“
“This is a local hole in the wall. It’s not fancy, but the food is GREAT and service is always timely and polite. The fish is fresh, soups are hot, tempura is crispy and not overly greasy. Shame on the people who complain about food being cold when they clearly ordered a take-out meal. Prices are more than fair. I hope to keep coming here year after year.“
“This is probably my favorite sushi places right now. The decoration and scenery is amazing, the food is great with some unique items, like the salmon nachos, the sunshine city, and the hello kitty roll. Our server was pretty nice too. And while prices are something to consider (it’s sushi, duh), I really love this place, and I hope this restaurant thrives.“
“We have been a fan of this food for over 2 years now, making a point to venture out to find the trucks while out around town. And were so excited to have a Tampa location. The food is amazing and there's nothing else like it. We aren't mad at the pricing because the portions are HUGE, we always get Bang Bang Chicken and something else to try so that eventually we'll taste the entire menu. Everything is always hot and fresh made to order. The only downside, is the employees unfortunately aren't always the friendliest, which sometimes puts a damper on the experience.“
