Everything seems prepared fresh, so there can be a wait. “This place is absolutely delicious. First of all it’s adorable inside. it was very busy and we sat at the bar. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and kind.We ordered an appetiser of coconut shrimp which was crispy and super hot and fresh and delicious. Then we each ordered two rolls which came to us on these giant dragons. We were not expecting that and the presentation was absolutely amazing.I loved watching everyone else’s plates come out of the sushi bar area because the presentation on each and every plate no matter what was ordered was absolutely impeccable. It was like an absolute work of art.I will definitely be coming back here because of the friendliness the service and the overall atmosphere 10 out of 10!!“

Charlie's sushi was delicious and I'm looking forward to going back and ordering a variety so that I can leave more of a detailed review. “My wife and I picked this up as an alternative lunch spot to our usual sushi date spot and we've been very happy with the rolls. I really like how theres less rice and more "contents" to the rolls, and the lunch deals are great. It's not the best ever, but I still strongly recommend.“

I preferred the Arizona over the Florida midway through my meal. I also ordered the Eel and spicy tuna. “The sunomono salad was not good. I've had way better elsewhere that actually adds salmon, tuna, octopus, shrimp, and seaweed salad in theirs. This was disappointing. Their sushi menu is limited, but the 2 rolls I did get were good. Just an average sushi place. The staff were very polite and attentive which was pleasant.“

The teriyaki sauce is the perfect flavor, not overpowering not too sweet. The rice was not dry or clumpy or greasy. I ordered yum yum sauce but I didn't even need it because the flavor of the meal was so good I didn't want to drown it with yum yum sauce. The vegetables were cooked just right with a little crisp and again generous portion of vegetables. On top of all that, it was very reasonably priced! Great value for the money! I highly recommend this place!“

“This was a delight. The menu contained more options than usual for an all-you-can-eat spot, which we enjoyed. The coconut shrimp were deliscious. If you are expecting coconut shreds, be forewarned.... These are not that. However, the light coconut sauce drizzled on top adds to the flavor. The rolls were fresh, and the rice was very flavorful. The only complaint I had was for the crab rangoon. The wonton wrappers were fried very hard. And, the eel sauce, eh...Overall, it was a great place with many options. We will return!!!“
“The larin Japan theme doesnt flow well.Iexpected more of fusion between the two cuisines.Thwy offer Tacos and hibachis style meals but nothing out of the ordinary. A burria eggroll or hibachi burrito would make it more of a concept. The food was ok . Didnt taste bad or anything just reguler stuff you would find in a tex mex or hibachi takeout place“
“I will say 6 months ago I wouldn’t of recommended this place even with there delicious food, with the waiting time and bad customer service but we decided to try them out again! We ordered catering of the delicious teriyaki chicken the day before we wanted it. It was ready as soon as the doors opened at 11am the next day. Plenty of extra sauces on the side. It last us the whole week to do different things with! I definitely recommend now!“

I would find a new place and spend the next three days trying different rolls. Maybe I was just lucky but every place I went to was good. There wasn't one that stood out over the others or one that was bad enough to single it out. I just happened to be in Palm Harbor last night and saw a sushi bar in a strip center. I ordered two rolls online, to go. Traffic was horrible so I decided to pull back into the parking lot and eat my sushi.IT TOOK ME OVER 90 DAYS AND PROBABLY OVER 100 ROLLS TO FIND A SUSHI BAR THAT EASILY STOOD OUT OVER THE OTHERS. MIKE'S SUSHI IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST SUSHI I'VE EATEN IN FLORIDA.The flavors were on point, fresh and absolutely delicious.The presentation was pure artwork.The price for the signature rolls is just a little higher than the average sushi bar but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the portion served is close to twice the size of all the other competitors.If you like sushi then Mike's Sushi Bar is the place to go. It is a definite 5 star sushi bar and you won't be disappointed. I'm looking forward to going back again tonight.“
