“I love this place I’ve been going with my Japanese grandma and she loves it, very hidden gem. Everytime I order something it’s delicious, everytime I seem to come here it’s so empty because of how hidden it is from the road but the atmosphere, food and service is 10/10 I love the music they play“

“Came in on Thursday with 2 other gentlemen after a round of golf for lunch. We met Deneen I believe her name is. All we could say is WOW!!! She was bartending, serving, running the phones, and playing security. That girl needs a raise A.S.A.P. Even at her busiest she still kept a smile on her face and our drinks filled!! Bravo to her........... We will definitely be back!!“

“The waitress is lazy, angry at the Palm Harbor establishment and she never seemed
to be around, you literally have to beg them and then they cop an attitude with you.
The sushi makers had to call her over constantly. Shameful, really is a great place, just poor attitudes from certain staff.“

“I would really like to thank the staff of Thirsty Marlin especially my server Smiley. He’s taken care of me before. But today. He went above and beyond. It’s my 50th birthday and no one took the time to celebrate this milestone with me. So I came out to dine alone. I got there 5 minutes after last call for all you can eat crab was called. But I asked him to see if it would be ok with a manager since my friends bailed on me. I wouldn’t be chatting. Just crabbing. Lolol. He got the all clear. And kept me stocked. All the staff would walk by and wish me a happy birthday. And Smiley chatted with me throughout my meal so I didn’t feel so alone. And on top of everything else. They also blessed with with a ginormous piece of chocolate cake. And here I was thinking. I wasn’t going to get cake for my birthday. Thank you Thirsty Marlin for helping this midcenturian celebrate having made it to the top of the hill. And again. Thank you Smiley for bringing a smile to my face when there was none. Delicious as always.“

“I ordered the bestselling Golden Boy for the first time and I instantly got hooked by the taste, the freshness, the quality of ingredients. I’m a trainee sushi chef and have been all over Tampa Bay Area to try various sushi places and didn’t realize if there is a great sushi place within my 10-minutes drive distance. I don’t need to go to Orlando or downtown Tampa anymore, very sure this cozy family-run place can even do really well in NYC and Tokyo. Both owners Pat and Jack are so accommodating and friendly. This place welcomes you like friends making you feel home.“

“Absolutely amazing! I have been looking for more Vegan-Friendly ? complaining that New Port Richeh never has any options yet thus reasturaunt has been right under my nose for years! I HIGHLY recommend, especially if you are vegan/vegetarian they have many options foe us including an amazing Vegab Volcano Roll, Crab Ragoon, and more! The service there is also very excellent, very friendly and up brat we absolutely loved it! Nekko was our server ans suggested great substitute options for vegans! 10/10 we will definitely be eating there again ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“First this place is always busy for good reason. It never disappoints. Last night dinner was great, highly recommend the Philly and Tampa Rolls. And the value… wow, my wife and I ate dinner and an app for $42 before tip. No alcohol last night but both had NA beverages and when done we were both stuffed. If you want great sushi at a great price get there before 7 PM for their happy hour pricing.“

“Go there for the sushi special obviously. Service is okay, space is okay. It feels like there's too much going on in there to have a calm lunch, everyone is running around you, servers seem to busy it just felt really chaotic but food was good so I'm not mad about it.“

“Simply amaxing! Lucky to get a reservation on a Sat night. Seated on the patio. Perfect weather, birds chirping away. Restaurant has a welcoming warmth about it! Great food. Great drinks. Great live music. Steak, seafood, fresh veggies, enjoyed by all! David was kind and accomodating. . Rebecca was gracious throughout the meal. All we encountered were professional and genuine. “Since me and my husband moved nearby we have enjoyed a few dinners here and have never had any issues. Once and awhile a serve may be a little slow, not that slow but a little behind. Honestly in my opinion it's nothing to complain about and not that big of a deal. It can be a busy place, try to have some patience and just enjoy the meal with your family. It's not to expensive for 2 people it's 53 and with tip 63. We like it everytime our food is always good. We have never not been able to finish. But obviously order what you can eat. Take it two items at a time if you have too.“

Parking: The restaurant is located on the N.W. side of the UPS, Publix, Bank strip mall. Parking entrances off S. Ft. Harrison and Turner Street.“
