“The food at Pisces is excellent and fresh. Pisces is one of our favorite sushi restaurants in the area. They are on the more expensive side but the restaurant serves quality foods in a nice restaurant. They are in a great location that has a large parking lot right behind the restaurant. You should make reservations especially during peak snowbird season!!“

“I have been searching for an awesome sushi restaurant for the past 3 months. From West Tampa to Holiday to St Pete and several sushi restaurants in between. I would find a new place and spend the next three days trying different rolls. Maybe I was just lucky but every place I went to was good. There wasn't one that stood out over the others or one that was bad enough to single it out. I just happened to be in Palm Harbor last night and saw a sushi bar in a strip center. I ordered two rolls online, to go. Traffic was horrible so I decided to pull back into the parking lot and eat my sushi.IT TOOK ME OVER 90 DAYS AND PROBABLY OVER 100 ROLLS TO FIND A SUSHI BAR THAT EASILY STOOD OUT OVER THE OTHERS. MIKE'S SUSHI IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST SUSHI I'VE EATEN IN FLORIDA.The flavors were on point, fresh and absolutely delicious.The presentation was pure artwork.The price for the signature rolls is just a little higher than the average sushi bar but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the portion served is close to twice the size of all the other competitors.If you like sushi then Mike's Sushi Bar is the place to go. It is a definite 5 star sushi bar and you won't be disappointed. I'm looking forward to going back again tonight.“

That and an 18% gratuity added to your bill. Wife and I had 5 drinks and with gratuity the bill was $75. HOWEVER, with the Groupon coupon, it cost us $103 for the evening. Not a bad cost for an evening out. So the advice is use Groupon for tickets and be careful ordering drinks.“

“Great little sushi place with a wonderfully friendly staff to get lunch or dinner at if you're visiting Downtown NPR! Every time I visit here the experience is always delightful, when you walk in you’re greeted by staff members with sincere warmth. The servers, chefs, and all of the staff are very knowledgeable, professional, and have such a positive energy that it’s infectious. If you’re new to Asian cuisine, no question is the wrong question and they are happy to help with anything you need, because I’ve brought friends here, and even when I came my first time in June 2023, it was a bit overwhelming because of how huge the menu is! It’s definitely worth it though, and the staff is super attentive without being too intrusive, it’s the perfect balance! It’s rare that the food, service, and decor all combine to such an excellence the way Kazu’s does. Everything we ate was flavorful and delicious. It was very very delightful! It’s always very good. I personally love sitting and eating at the sushi bar because it gives you that more authentic experience watching the chefs make the meals for you, and then they hand them to you right there. The rolls are great, they have specials everyday if we want to go a more affordable route on rolls, but if you’re looking for a more specific type of roll, I highly recommend the ‘Rainbow Roll’ and the ‘Kazu’s House Roll’. The ‘Tempura Japanese Bagel Roll’ is very delicious as well, if you’re not looking for rolls, the ‘Whitefish Teriyaki’ is to die for, actually it’s to LIVE for, comes with white rice, miso soup, and it also had fried vegetables, I think it was stir fry, either way it was scrumptious! Might I emphasize how good the miso soup is, as well as the edamame, oh and the sake! The Sour Apple Sake is a must every time for me, I need to try the plum they have, they also have strawberry but you have to order it by the bottle. They have so much variety when it comes to beverages, whether they are alcoholic or not! This place has it all, definitely a lunch/dinner highlight, highly highly recommend. “Tried eating there for the first time since we moved to Safety Harbor and it did not disappoint. Walking in the front door the restaurant was nicely decorated and had lovely music. We were immediately greeted and were told we could choose wherever we wanted to sit. We chose to sit in a cute little booth covered with a canopy of beautiful shiny gold material. The staff were super friendly and attentive. There was so much food to choose from! From sushi to Thai food it was hard to decide what to try first but we ended up choosing the pineapple fried rice and Panang Beef with a Florida Roll on the side. Amazing food!! They also had $5 glasses of wine for Happy Hour from 3-6p along with $5 Sake. We will definitely be back and highly recommend. They also do a busy take out service but I would recommend eating there for a great atmosphere.“

At our request, we were seated in a comfortable booth.For a starter, we ordered the Chargrilled Spanish Octopus, which came with Mediterranean Hummus and Roasted Lemon Herb Aoili. Octopus is easy to overcook to a rubbery mouthful, but our Octopus was grilled perfectly.There were many great seafood dinner choices, but we were in the mood for a Crispy Grouper Sandwich, made of flash-fried Grouper, red onion, tomato, seafood remoulade, served with seasoned fries. The Grouper was a good sized serving and not in the least bit dry, with breading that was both crispy and thin.The fries were nicely seasoned and a good accompaniment.Our server Vincenzo was responsive without being intrusive. We hope to be seated at one of his tables again.To be clear and fair to all who are interested, the menu includes "turf" as well as "surf" dishes.I strongly recommend Beechwood Kitchen & Bar to all who are seeking quality Seafood (and likely non- Seafood) dishes as well. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and kind.We ordered an appetiser of coconut shrimp which was crispy and super hot and fresh and delicious. Then we each ordered two rolls which came to us on these giant dragons. We were not expecting that and the presentation was absolutely amazing.I loved watching everyone else’s plates come out of the sushi bar area because the presentation on each and every plate no matter what was ordered was absolutely impeccable.
