“We had a young lady named Evelyn, she was training we believe but also took orders alone. She was hands down one of the best servers we have had at this place. Not only was she friendly, she was so sweet, calm, and quick on her feet. She was also very pretty and looked very well kept as well as the other young lady working. We left a $15 cash tip for her because her work was unbelievable. She made sure our drinks were filled, made sure we were having a good time, made sure our food was good, and was picking up trash from our table that my daughter and son would drop. “I have been a vegetarian since approximately 1968. It was not easy to eat out nor at other peoples houses without the constant questioning, “what’s in this?” Any meat in this? Over the years, it was more acceptable and I could find one or two dishes in every menu. Certainly there are more dishes and restaurants now. But I have been hesitant with many because I don’t want to eat something made from tofu or seitan and call it a burger or meat dish. So, I highly recommend that you eat at House of Vegano with fresh food, creative and incredible tastes, amazing choices and friendly staff that makes you feel like you are home. We are definitely coming back …with more friends!“

Got the miso soup 10/10, the Naruto roll I believe, it has no ice and was delicious and healthy 10/10 and the fried calamari. I wasn't too happy Abt it since it looks kinda raw in some areas of the octopus? I didn't know if I could eat it and mostly ate the tentacles“

“I just went for my birthday with a friend. The servers and chef were all attentive and friendly. I got the hibachi chicken and shrimp meal. The food was very good and the portions were huge. I really appreciated that they didn’t make us join another group. The decor is so cool and pretty. It’s a great place to celebrate a special occasion. There’s also a regular dining area that looks like a good date spot. I’ll definitely go back!“

“I enjoyed my dinner experience at Ichiban Izakaya restaurant. This hidden gem is located nearby to downtown St. Pete.

The sashimi was very fresh and sushi rolls were delicious. My favorite was the sweet shrimp nigiri.

There’s interior dining and I love the Japanese themed decor. Service was friendly and welcoming.

I will definitely be back! Also, check out their happy hour and lunch specials. Plenty of lot parking available.“

The tempura banana with pumpkin ice cream was a treat for dessert. The only thing I was disappointed in was the hot and sour soup. It just didn't do for me. I got tofu hibachi with vegetables and fried rice, a tofu roll, some sweet potato rolls, avocado roll and some Thai iced tea. I got to try a bite of my friend's avocado salad and green bean hibachi. Great choices. Had a nice time. Good service. I was just visiting town for a short trip. Happy I stumbled into this place. Would visit again.“

The tuna roll was good with nice chunks of tuna. The spider roll i think was my favorite. Good value for money overall. My only complaint is just that there arent a lot of options to pick from for the rolls.“
