“Had an amazing experience at Pisces Sushi in Dunedin! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful—everything from the specialty rolls to the appetizers was top-notch. The atmosphere is cozy yet upscale, perfect for a date night or a relaxing evening out. A special shoutout to our server, Millie, who truly made the night memorable. He was warm, attentive, and super knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. “After hearing so many recommendations, we finally checked out Thai Town and it did not disappoint. It’s tucked into the small plaza off Main Street near Jet’s Pizza. The interior is dated but thoughtfully and beautifully decorated with hand-carved tables, elephant accents, carved wood details, and soft twinkle lights that give the space a warm, welcoming feel. The woman who served us was incredibly kind and attentive while also juggling about ten other guests on her own. We ordered red curry and pineapple fried rice with chicken to go and spent our wait relaxing in large carved wooden chairs, just taking in the atmosphere. When she learned it was our first visit, she brought us each a freshly made crab rangoon to try while we waited. She said if we liked curry, we would probably love them. She was absolutely right. They were the best we’ve ever had, and we’ve ordered them on every visit since. We’ve also tried the pineapple curry with chicken, which has a really pleasant, mild heat and great flavor. It’s our favorite dish so far.“

We ordered crab rangoon, chicken with cashews. Staff was very polite and our order came quickly. We ordered a glass of Chardonnay $10 but gracious pour. It's was a little warm inside but maybe air was out. It was very hot today. Great experience, will try again!“

The tempura banana with pumpkin ice cream was a treat for dessert. The only thing I was disappointed in was the hot and sour soup. It just didn't do for me. I got tofu hibachi with vegetables and fried rice, a tofu roll, some sweet potato rolls, avocado roll and some Thai iced tea. I got to try a bite of my friend's avocado salad and green bean hibachi. Great choices. Had a nice time. Good service. I was just visiting town for a short trip. Happy I stumbled into this place. Would visit again.“

“Did their lunch special 3 roll combo which comes with soup or salad. The salad was fresh and yummy. I did a spider roll, tuna roll and shrimp tempura roll. The tuna roll was good with nice chunks of tuna. The spider roll i think was my favorite. Good value for money overall. My only complaint is just that there arent a lot of options to pick from for the rolls.“

“Pretty Good We’ve been here for to-go orders in the past. I have lower expectations for to-go since the food is never as hot and fresh as at the restaurant. This time we ate in the restaurant. The restaurant is clean and bright and the service is good. We started with the Bao Bun sampler which was delicious. We moved on to the appetizer sampler. The chicken wings and spring rolls were pretty good. The shrimp and Crab Rangoon were only OK and I wouldn’t get them again. Moving on, the Spot Special Banh Mi was very good. The Eye Round Pho was only OK and had a thin flavor. The Chicken Stir Fry with Vegetables was pretty good with a nice flavor, but the chicken had an overly-tenderized and spongy consistency. So, it was hit and miss. I would go back for the Bao Buns and the Banh Mi.“
