“Carvor’s still has, hands down, the BEST blackened grouper sandwich in Pinellas County. It’s one of those meals you think about long after you leave. Perfectly seasoned, fresh, and honestly indescribably good. That sandwich alone keeps us coming back year after year.

That said, the experience this time felt very different from previous visits. The older woman who has worked there for years continues to come across as rushed and unfriendly every time we visit, which unfortunately affects the overall atmosphere. We’ve been coming here for about 4 years now, and it’s become noticeable enough that we honestly prefer going when she isn’t working. On the other hand, the younger staff members have always been friendly, welcoming, and great to interact with.

Also worth noting: the prices and items on the board are no longer accurate, so make sure to check the paper menu by the register instead.

We’ll absolutely keep returning for the grouper because it really is THAT good, just hoping the customer experience improves moving forward.“

“What a fantastic venue for my 70th birthday celebration! We reserved the Honey Hole and Shell Garden for a private gathering of about 30 friends & family with children. Allysia helped me put together a wonderful experience, she went above and beyond to make it really special, and was so easy and fun to work with from start to finish. “Lucky Lobster Co. is definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re craving seafood with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. The environment was welcoming, comfortable, and great for both couples and families. Service was excellent from start to finish attentive, friendly, and quick without feeling rushed.

The food overall was really good. The lobster mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and loaded with flavor, easily one of the highlights of the meal. The salmon entrée with mashed potatoes and vegetables was cooked perfectly, flaky and flavorful with a delicious creamy sauce on top. The fish tacos were also a standout fresh, light, and packed with flavor from the toppings and salsa.

The only dish that missed the mark a bit was the lobster pizza. It looked great, but the flavor combination just wasn’t as impressive as the other dishes and felt a little underwhelming compared to everything else on the table.

One thing to keep in mind: parking is limited, especially during busy hours, so arriving early helps. Overall, great service, great atmosphere, and very good food make this a place I’d definitely come back to.“

“I went to Migg's Craft Kitchen for the time for Sunday Brunch. I ordered the Crab Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. The presentation was very eye catching. The restaurant is a smaller intimate setting. I highly recommend this place and I can't wait to try something else.“

“Mallory literally helped save our lives as we were in a seafood crisis situation on Saturday. 5/16/26. After a full morning of kayaking on one of the local springs that abound in Florida, our stomachs were screaming for sustenance...and as we were on the water, it became a dire need quite quickly. Service is perfect, atmosphere is as good, food, well...the peel and eat are 🔥🔥🔥, grouper nuggies 🥌 , and the wings... 💯!“

Now that the original and best Chef Roger is back after an absence for a few years, it is even more fantastic and every single dish is full of quality and flavor! It was not the same when he was away. I recommend you go and enjoy Roger's amazing menu. The servers are all too notch, especially Woody, Jason, and Brittany! “Delicious burgers, sides and specialty drinks during Happy Hour at the HEW bar. The goat cheese panna cotta for dessert was sublime. Bonnie at the front desk then gave our group a tour of the hotel amenities and shared the history of the property. We finished our evening at the rooftop Hifi Bar at sunset. it was a lovely start to our annual Mother's Day Weekend Celebration and we will definitely be back for Frose and Croquet.“
