“Good food, great service. Atmosphere is an issue. While impressive it's a small venue, the seating is too cramped. I felt far too close to the people next to me. It was distracting and definitely not the place to celebrate an anniversary. For the money, I wouldn't go back.”
“Outstanding meal. All of it seemed effortless in a very good way. Gnocchi were pillows of potato, Naan was perfectly puffy with the goat chili butter a standout accompaniment, pork chop was beautifully brined and cooked to perfection, and the Panna Cotta perfectly soft with a lovely melange of flavor. The room itself is underwhelming to the stuffiest of crowds, but makes perfect sense in keeping the prices of the dishes well within reason.Excellent meal overall. All the best to the staff and continued success.”
“Incredible European cuisine and table service. My favorite restaurant in Dunedin! Great bar drinks and frindly bartenders. Easy parking, and always a seat at the bar if you don't make reservations. Reservations are highly recommended as they always book up. We often never make it past the appetizers, which are so delicious.Parking: Stip mall with lots of parking and we'll lit.”
“Eddie's is one fun friendly place to go. It is a place for the entire family. One side is a sports bar with tvs all around and the other side more family/kid oriented with kid entertainment games. If you enjoy outdoor dining then you will like the outdoor deck where pets are even welcomed. A varied menu with something for everyone. My fav is the black and blue salad which I almost always order which is delicious. I love that they stay open later than most places because some nights I am a hungry night owl. Don't keep driving by, stop and see for yourself why I make it a go to place weekly”
“Pretty good food, and the drink selection was diverse. Different prices listed online tho--the lobster mac n cheese was great but pricey at $25--$3 more than the online menu listed. The shepherd's pie was ok, but carrots were crunchy and very minimal mashed potatoes, so a bit disproportionate. But overall a good experience, and service was excellent. Seated right away on at Saturday early evening. Lots of covered outdoor seating.”
“Lonnis has been one of my favorite places to get a gourmet sandwich without breaking the bank! Lunch break, yes! Event food, absolutely!Yesterday we had our sons fourth birthday and instead of the usual hot dogs and hamburgers or even catering from Publix we decided to cater from lonnis, and it was a huge hit from all the guest! Why did we do this? Well the sandwiches are a great size for kids and adults and are dressing being in pool and sun all day and are very unique from a typical sandwich tray you get! We did 3 trays of assorted sandwiches, a few pounds of pasta salad, a few of the wild rice and a few of the chicken salad and with 25ish adults and 15+ plus kids there was nothing left over! And this small business was so happy to accommodate us on a day they are normally closed!Thank you so much for making our sons fourth birthday so special and being so amazing about our group of people!Great people and great food! Definitely somewhere to check out when you’re in Dunedin.Vegetarian options: They have an amazing vegetarian sandwich and it stands out from others because of the dressing and sprouts!Kid-friendliness: They can make grilled cheese and plain sandwiches they have plenty of sides that my kids love”
“I have wasted a lot of time chasing Buffalo food for years, until this place came along! Their beef on weck melts in your mouth. We have been here several times and each time the service and food are consistently great!!Wish the owner would open one near Trinity!! It would be a big hit! Besides if it were closer, we would be there a lot more often. Thank you Dave”
“I have been eying this place for months now. Finally went about an hour before closing. Very cute, very old and small building. There are but a few tables outside under a big tree that gives you plenty of shade. There was a line but it went pretty fast. The paper menu helped me decide what I wanted while I was in line. The front lady that took my order was so nice, funny and chatty, loved her. People seemed very pleased with their foods. I chose a full rack of ribs. I had no idea how big these ribs were. We did not get any sides since we are not crazy about baked beans. The hot sauce was good but barely hot. I thought that the ribs were under seasoned and a little dry, it really needed lots of sauce. I really wanted to love it. I think the price was great for the quantity.”
“In the Dunedin area after a couple early appointments and looking for a brunch spot. A quick check of higher ratings pulled up Pete’s. And the comments affirmed that, so we were off. Found it easily and glanced at today’s specials then were seated immediately. We glanced over the menu. My eyes caught the Biscuits & Gravy but then I spotted thePete’s Scramble. Biscuits & Gravy with scrambled eggs & cheese, topped with crisp Bacon! It was tough because everything looked great. Especially the food at the tables around us.My wife discovered the Scramble Bowl. It reminded her of her Father’s Hillbilly Stew served three times a day when squirrel hunting with Dad and three boys. One pound Bacon fried crisp. Add one large Onion diced and 5 pounds of par boiled potatoes. Then finish with a dozen eggs. Sounded boring when I joined them but after several hours walking in the woods, it was great.I also ordered a side of cheese grits to share but both our plates were huge, so half went home for another day.Service was great, food was excellent. Great prices. My wife is already planning to bring her girlfriends here!”
“What a wonderful experience!!! From the moment we walked in everything felt positive. Max, our server, was FANTASTIC. He kept us laughing and his service was excellent. The food was pure Flavortown. Will definitely be going back...repeatedly.”
“Great location that we just can’t stop going back to! Fabulous grouper sandwich but don’t forget to try the seafood pot pie, yum! The nachos are great if you are hungry too! Also, take some time to wander over to the market across the street; great selection and service.”
“Local favorite. Good breakfast selection. The whipped cream on the french toast and crepes reminds me of pastry or cake cream from European dessert places. Really good and filling. It gets super busy on weekends. Great little stop right off the trail with outdoor seating. Come early to get a good seat. And check out their variety of mimosas!”
“The food is great! Highly recommend the biscuits & gravy! Feels authentic Florida with friendly service and down home cooking! I had the spinach, feta and onion omelet add green pepper and mushrooms. The veggies and spinach were fresh and cooked to order. It was excellent!”
“Man oh man! If you want the best of the best, come here! Atmosphere is laid back with a outside patio, music inside and the food is slamming! Got the Cakalacky sandwich and what can I say... pure bliss. Enough said, come on down and try it out. You won't be disappointed ?”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The best! From the service to the food, excellence is an understatement.Breakfast was delicious, Mina made us feel right at home. Food was cooked perfectly by Gus, even customizations, and everything came out FAST. Wow!!Locals are known by name and friendly as they come. Stop in and have a great meal!Thank you again?”
“Always a friendly place to visit. The bar staff are really friendly. It's a cash only place but that's part of the charm. Sit outside in the sun on the patio or inside. The best jukebox ever. They do not serve food. But a great choice of beers. Would highly recommend.”
“I took an older friend here for a birthday lunch. We both enjoyed our selection. This Cafe has indoor and outdoor seating. Our server was very patient as my guest took some time making her selection. Then when our food was brought to the table my guest decided she preferred my French fries to her bag of chips. Our server said no problem I'll get you some fries. All done with a smile.”
“Friendly place where people at the bar greet you and engage in conversation. Irish beers on tap. YAY. Waited on quickly and soon had a Guinness in front of me. Ordered cottage pie. Very good. Served hot. Variety offered on menu. Will return”
“First time having breakfast here. Excellent from start to finish. Been visiting the area and staying in our rv for the past 5 years and have avoided this location. Very impressed with the cleanliness as well. Can't judge a book by its cover for sure! You won't be disappointed.”
“My first time in Dunedin thanks to some family who surprised me with heading there last night. And what a night! The humor found in the ladies room with all the stickers left me wanting to know the story behind the sticker-ification of the walls, the bathroom stalls and mirror, etc. I've added a photo to give you a gist of that atmosphere there. The service was quick, respectful, and with full hospitality in mind. The indoor area is a fun look around seeing the true kilts hanging over the vats and the country flags. Loved it. Once again, I'd love to see hear about the history of those kilts. Which unfortunately I assumed were already captured and posted by other Yelpers. My Apricot Peach ale did me in... in such the best way. The band onsite outside got into their stride as we finally were finishing our drinks unfortunately. But I still shook my skeleton while enjoying the people all dressed up for various locations of pub hopping for Halloween in all their glory. It reminded me of a Halloween I spent years ago in Kaanapali Maui. A wonderful memory. And now this is added to those. Thank you.”
“This place is great. The bartender was solo this afternoon as the server and she handled it with poise and grace. She made a perfect dirty vodka martini. The food was plentiful. We had the pulled pork sandwiches, smoked wings, and cod Po boy. There was so much food that we could not finish. They also have fresh French fries what were delightful. There was indoor and outdoor seating which made it pet friendly. We would certainly recommend.Kid-friendliness: There was nothing to suggest that is was not a family friendly space. Our server even played rock, scissor, paper with our Son.”
“Walking around the artisan district trying to decide where to eat, Cafe Alfresco was right across the street. We said let’s see if we can get in, if not we’ll try another place. We walked up and were seated immediately! Our waiter Kaveh greeted us immediately. Kaveh was very friendly and engaging and we hit it off right away. Between the 3 of us we had chicken Parmesan, Spaghetti Pomodoro, and Cajun meatloaf. Everyone loved their meals, and we split the peanut butter cheesecake. So delicious, creamy, and not heavy! Portion sizes were on the larger side and prices were fair. Kaveh made the experience even better!!”
“Update to my review from a year ago: I came back on 4/15/2023, and the wait time was not bad at all at 9am. I got in right away, and the food and service was really good."Wsh I could give this spot negative stars... horrible management. Obviously... we walked in and there are no signed to seat yourself or wait for a hostess. Stood waiting with a full house for about 3 minutes and two waitress, one of which walk right by us to go outside and never said to seat yourselves or it'll be a few minutes all tables are taken, etc etc.... nothing.. rude to say the least. Poorly run spot. Walked out and would never come back to this spot again. Also from the looks of it, doesn't look clean or sanitary.”
“Excellent fine dining experience out on the covered dock overlooking the marina and open water. Excellent service. The French onion soup was excellent. It was one of the best I've had in a while. We tried the escargot, and it was very good. It was prepared differently, but very good. The Cobb salad was fresh and delicious. The fish was deboned and served tableside. Great experience.Parking: Parking was somewhat difficult. It is a marina area and parking is at a premium. There are nearby smaller lots for free and short walk away. Valet is available.Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly if your kids are used to a more mature crowd and dining experience.Wheelchair accessibility: There are wheelchair accessible areas of the restaurant.”
“If you are in the area, this place is a MUST. The food is great, the service is awesome, and the atmosphere is incredible. It's probably one of the best places to enjoy a good meal. I recommend sitting in the back patio, near the gigantic beautiful tree?. Super, super, super beautiful, and incredible good time. People are friendly and peaceful. Very comfortable !!!Parking: Free parking is everywhere.”
“Went for Sunday Brunch. Sat inside because the only outside tables available were in the scorching sun! Turns out I'm glad we sat inside. By sitting inside we were able to enjoy the live music and experience the overall amazing ambiance of the dining area. The menu was as diverse as the various lamp shades used on the hanging light fixtures. Great food. Great service. Great experience. Will definitely be back. (don't pass up the beignets!!)”
“First time eating here. The restaurant was spotless, a serious plus. Though I ordered a simple meal, 2 eggs over hard, homefries and 2 pancakes, everything was cooked perfectly.Because of the hour, 9:30 on a Thursday morning, there was ample parking. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was pleasantly quiet. When I return, I will have my sister with me and we'll do lunch or dinner”
“This place is always amazing you can't beat the view, the service or the food. We have now been going here regularly for about 3 years. We live nearby and honestly love this place. I think the food is great, I have never had bad service ever. They have great sausage sandwiches, I get them all the time. They actually make them from scratch, they have a special recipe. This is just a wonderful laid back beach bar and you have to be patient, sometimes when it's busy, this is "island time" after all. Kick off your shoes and grab a cool drink. Enjoy life, watch the waves and relax. The servers here work very hard and are a wonderful nice young group of folks. I have met and spoke with both the owners, I find them pleasant and hard working, loyal to their business.Cheers”
“WE love Delcos!!! We order from here honestly 1x a week. Our favorites are the MAC N CHEESE bites, omg sooo good, only 6 in a bag which is good, because I'd easily eat 20 of them. They are cash only and that should be no reason to take stars off.. if anything they're smart to do cash only! We also always order a turkey club on wheat, cheeseburger club on wheat (with extra patty), cheese steak with extra cheese and hot peppers, and the french fries which they always give a generous portion of. The food is ALWAYS good and hot. Highly recommend!!!”
