Eli's Bar-B-Que is a beloved spot, worth the trip from South Sarasota and beyond. The restaurant serves great food at reasonable prices, with wonderful people behind the counter. Favorites include the ribs, beans, and brisket, which are all consistently delicious. While it's a walk-up window with no formal ambiance, the friendly staff and picnic tables make for a pleasant dining experience. Note that it's a cash-only establishment, but the quality of the food and service more than makes up for it.
