“The best brisket and ribs in Florida, until someone can tell me someplace better. I've been to almost all of the BBQ places around Tampa bay......Mr BBQ, Mission BBQ, Jazzy's, Smoke, etc. None of them have a brisket that can compare to Texas BBQ like Patmon's!The ribs are amazing too. So tender the meat doesn't fall off the bone, the bones fall off the meat!The only issue I have is that right now, they are only there every other Saturday and won't be here at all in November. And as noted in other reviews, you have to get there early (like before 1 pm) or they can be out of ribs or brisket. Also, I haven't had a chance to try the Pastrami, as they don't always have it.“
“Had a pork sandwich for lunch with some coleslaw while vacationing here. Meat was flavorful and juicy. Coleslaw was AMAZING! This ain’t no KFC! We heard that people line up around the block for food here as they are open only on Friday and Saturday. We happened to come on a Cold and cloudy Friday, so we had a minimal wait. Worth the stop. And the people serving and cooking - Super friendly. Felt really welcome.“

“Wonderful experience with Brandy and Joanna, our bartenders pictured below. We were treated like old friends as soon as we came in. Every staff member was friendly and fun. They all checked on us to make sure we were happy, including Toni, the floor manager.The food was excellent and presented well. The beer and wine selection was good. The prices were reasonable, especially the dry-rubbed wings at 99 cents each.This was exactly the experience that we hope for when we go out. Friendly, fun staff and great food and drinks. I would recommend the Smokehouse and will go back whenever we get a chance.“
“We went on Sunday and they only serve spa Brunch. I had the Salad with Shrimp which was very good . The shrimp were big and tasty. My husband had the Banana Bread French Toast. It was good. Our waiter was very good. Negative was the noise. Very noisy in main dining room.“
“I've lived in Clearwater forever and have gone past the Rumba for years. It wasn't until my long time friend wanted to do a birthday lunch and told me to pick the place. We had Sangria 2 for 1, with fried grouper bites, excellent! Lightly battered, not greasy, yum. Then we had the barbecue pork with sauce on the side, so good. Our waiter Jarred was the best, we weren't sure of the sauce we wanted he brought us two small samples. We had slaw and black beans on the side. Our afternoon was the best, good food, and great service. Thanks Jarred for your suggestions, personality, and prompt service throughout our lunch, it made for a memorable birthday.“
“My husband picked up the BBQ lamb chops from 4K’s BBQ. They tasted delicious. They were super tender and full of flavor. The portion size was accurate for the price. I even tried one and we will both get them again. I had the smoked sausage which was delicious as well. We will definitely be going back. I am so glad this area of Clearwater finally has good BBQ!“
“Needed a good steak to make up for a deperation steak from Down Under that didn't really cut it. Remembered this location was open and close so i headed off. Got there late and was afraid I wouldn't be in time to eat in, but they got me seated, fed and out the door without feeling rushed. Ribeye was delicious and at temp as well.“

Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. What an incredible place to try on a whim.Staff was really nice as soon as I opened the door. Portions were very good. Prices were a tad more than I thought. “Do you like real BBQ? JP's has it! James is working the smoke. We had brisket and pork ribs. My vegan wife actually converted to meat eater because of JP's ribs. The meat falls off of the bone but still retains it's chew. The sides are very fresh. We tried the beans, greens, and cole slaw. The slaw has a kick that we loved. It made me sweat more than the Tampa heat. If you want some amazing BBQ, don't go corporate. Go to JP's BBQ and grill. James and family will take good care of you. My favorites are the beef bulgogi and kimchee pancakes. You can't go wrong with japchae for people unfamiliar with Korean dishes. Other family favs (Korean family members) are the soups and variety of kimchee.“

“We drove 1 1/2 hrs to eat here, because was told food was really good. They didn't lie! We arrived and the parking lot wasn't crowded but within 25 minutes it was packed! The food for 20 people came out fast, and was very tasty. The 2 waitresses were excellent! The owner stopped by and chatted with the group at that end of our table, and seemed very nice. Those 2 waitresses were on the money, kept checking on us, was honest about the collard greens, ( which were good) , did refills quickly. I even brought some leftovers home. I'd likely not opt for the 1/4 chicken again as it was just okay due to being on the dry side.The surprise was the sausage sandwich. The Choripan. Wow! Might just be the best sausage sandwich I ever had. The combination of a quality link on the perfect texture of bread with the toppings, amazing. I will certainly return for the Choripan (sausage sandwich).On an interesting side note. After dark, several rats run around the exterior of the screened in patio area. That's interesting to watch as one zooms by every 10 minutes. Hopefully they remain outside and not in the food prep areas!Overall. 4 star service and environment. 3 star chicken. 5 star Choripan sausage.“
