Bar BQ Queen is a popular spot for delicious BBQ. The pulled pork sandwich is a standout, with generous portions and a unique hot sauce that's not for the faint of heart. The ribs, served with mac and cheese and potato salad, are also a must-try. The owner, a knowledgeable and friendly pit mistress, takes pride in her craft. With fair prices and great take-out options, Bar BQ Queen is a great choice for BBQ lovers.
The restaurant offers authentic Southern-style BBQ, including traditional sides like sweet potato pie and smoked collard greens. Customers praise the restaurant's no-frills approach, focusing on the quality of the barbecued meats. The spare ribs and brisket are particularly well-received, with the owner's homemade sauces adding to the flavor. While the chicken and pulled pork can be a bit dry at times, the overall dining experience is highly satisfactory, with the owner's friendly demeanor adding to the charm.
