“Wonderful poke bowl. One of the best in its kind. The sauces are amazing, a variety of ingredients are included in the price. Price aren’t abusive but average. “I have been searching for an awesome sushi restaurant for the past 3 months. From West Tampa to Holiday to St Pete and several sushi restaurants in between. I would find a new place and spend the next three days trying different rolls. Maybe I was just lucky but every place I went to was good. There wasn't one that stood out over the others or one that was bad enough to single it out. I just happened to be in Palm Harbor last night and saw a sushi bar in a strip center. I ordered two rolls online, to go. Traffic was horrible so I decided to pull back into the parking lot and eat my sushi.IT TOOK ME OVER 90 DAYS AND PROBABLY OVER 100 ROLLS TO FIND A SUSHI BAR THAT EASILY STOOD OUT OVER THE OTHERS. MIKE'S SUSHI IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST SUSHI I'VE EATEN IN FLORIDA.The flavors were on point, fresh and absolutely delicious.The presentation was pure artwork.The price for the signature rolls is just a little higher than the average sushi bar but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the portion served is close to twice the size of all the other competitors.If you like sushi then Mike's Sushi Bar is the place to go. It is a definite 5 star sushi bar and you won't be disappointed. I'm looking forward to going back again tonight.“
“I sat at the bar where Ashlee greeted me promptly and made me a spicy bloody Mary. She informed me was happy hour, and several drinks were $5 and under including my Bloody Mary! They also had a happy hour sushi on the weekends $5 rolls. This was definitely a bargain.I started my meal ordering the Arizona roll and the Florida roll. They were both fantastic. I preferred the Arizona over the Florida midway through my meal. I also ordered the Eel and spicy tuna. If I had to pick the eel is definitely my favorite.I have never found this much sushi ? for only $20 bucks! You need to come check this place out.“

“The sunomono salad was not good. I've had way better elsewhere that actually adds salmon, tuna, octopus, shrimp, and seaweed salad in theirs. This was disappointing. Their sushi menu is limited, but the 2 rolls I did get were good. Just an average sushi place. The staff were very polite and attentive which was pleasant.“

“Great little sushi place with a wonderfully friendly staff to get lunch or dinner at if you're visiting Downtown NPR! Every time I visit here the experience is always delightful, when you walk in you’re greeted by staff members with sincere warmth. The servers, chefs, and all of the staff are very knowledgeable, professional, and have such a positive energy that it’s infectious. If you’re new to Asian cuisine, no question is the wrong question and they are happy to help with anything you need, because I’ve brought friends here, and even when I came my first time in June 2023, it was a bit overwhelming because of how huge the menu is! It’s definitely worth it though, and the staff is super attentive without being too intrusive, it’s the perfect balance! It’s rare that the food, service, and decor all combine to such an excellence the way Kazu’s does. Everything we ate was flavorful and delicious. It was very very delightful! It’s always very good. I personally love sitting and eating at the sushi bar because it gives you that more authentic experience watching the chefs make the meals for you, and then they hand them to you right there. The rolls are great, they have specials everyday if we want to go a more affordable route on rolls, but if you’re looking for a more specific type of roll, I highly recommend the ‘Rainbow Roll’ and the ‘Kazu’s House Roll’. The ‘Tempura Japanese Bagel Roll’ is very delicious as well, if you’re not looking for rolls, the ‘Whitefish Teriyaki’ is to die for, actually it’s to LIVE for, comes with white rice, miso soup, and it also had fried vegetables, I think it was stir fry, either way it was scrumptious! Might I emphasize how good the miso soup is, as well as the edamame, oh and the sake! The Sour Apple Sake is a must every time for me, I need to try the plum they have, they also have strawberry but you have to order it by the bottle. They have so much variety when it comes to beverages, whether they are alcoholic or not! This place has it all, definitely a lunch/dinner highlight, highly highly recommend. “The larin Japan theme doesnt flow well.Iexpected more of fusion between the two cuisines.Thwy offer Tacos and hibachis style meals but nothing out of the ordinary. A burria eggroll or hibachi burrito would make it more of a concept. The food was ok . Didnt taste bad or anything just reguler stuff you would find in a tex mex or hibachi takeout place“

“This place is absolutely delicious. First of all it’s adorable inside. it was very busy and we sat at the bar. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and kind.We ordered an appetiser of coconut shrimp which was crispy and super hot and fresh and delicious. Then we each ordered two rolls which came to us on these giant dragons. We were not expecting that and the presentation was absolutely amazing.I loved watching everyone else’s plates come out of the sushi bar area because the presentation on each and every plate no matter what was ordered was absolutely impeccable. It was like an absolute work of art.I will definitely be coming back here because of the friendliness the service and the overall atmosphere 10 out of 10!!“
