“We came here to celebrate my friend-we go out to eat once a month together and this was her birthday celebration! She is vegan and I am not but that didn’t stop us! We got there at 4:00pm as they close at 6pm. They had a lot of carryout orders but we had the restaurant to our selves and it was nice! The server was super attentive and friendly and answered all our questions. I thoroughly enjoyed the Mack stack which was a take on a Big Mac and was so delicious! My friend had the Cuban and that was also delicious! They have a homemade coleslaw with raisins and that was also delicious! The prices are so reasonable. Our meal included the burger, fries, coleslaw and a drink which we enjoyed the lemonade/hibiscus tea mix. The restaurant has a cute wall with a sign for pictures and was clean and had plenty of seating. It was a great place to enjoy food-whether you are a vegan or not-although the entire menu is vegan!“

“I took my daughter to Discovery Indian in Palm Harbor for her birthday dinner, and frankly, this was some of the best Indian food I have had in my life. I’ve eaten Indian cuisine all over the U.S. and extensively throughout Pinellas County, so I can tell when a kitchen is cutting corners. This place does not cut corners. The Food: This is Indian "soul food" at its finest. You can taste the difference between scratch-made cooking and the "sauce-in-a-jar" shortcuts many other places rely on. Aloo Tikki Chaat: If you order one thing, make it this. It was "love at first bite." The tamarind chutney was exquisitely balanced, and the mint chutney provided a cooling finish without stepping on the other flavors. The combination of sweet, cool, and savory was unlike anything I've tasted before. Entrees: We shared the Chicken Tikka Masala (excellent depth of flavor with perfect cardamom rice) and the Shrimp Biryani, which was executed with traditional techniques and total precision. Garlic Naan: You can tell immediately that this was made from scratch and cooked the right way in a tandoor. Mango Lassi: Don't skip this! It’s the perfect accompaniment to the meal. The Ambiance: One of the best parts of the evening was the atmosphere. It was refreshingly QUIET. In a world where every restaurant feels the need to blast loud music or have 20 different football games playing on screens, Discovery Indian is a sanctuary. I was actually able to enjoy my meal and have a conversation with my daughter without being overstimulated. The Service: The care and love for food shown in the kitchen extends to the overall experience. It was a relaxed, attentive, and high-quality dining experience from start to finish. “Been in this area since 2003, been going to the blue for years. Today was absolutely amazing. Thank you to our server Italia she went above and beyond expectations. We finished our lunch in the main dining room went out to the poolside and she continue to take care of our party like I said I’ve been going there for years. Today was exceptional. “I came in today for a late lunch. I walked in about 20 minutes before they closed for their lunch hours and they happily took me. I ordered the lunch special of 2 rolls and it came with a soup, salad, cucumbers and a spring roll. Everything was very good and it was a lot of food! The service was very good and they got my food out quick which was perfect for my timeline as well. Next time Im in the area for dinner I would love to try some of their special rolls. I would also love to try their boba tea. Great first experience.“

“I can only compare this to our regular First Watch (Mitchell Ranch) and there were many tables that needed cleared when we arrived. Plus when we used the restrooms the woman’s room needed the floor cleaned and all the toilet paper was just placed on the roll holder instead of attached correctly. And the men’s urinal did not flush. On a plus side the chalkboards were precisely done.“

“I would really like to thank the staff of Thirsty Marlin especially my server Smiley. He’s taken care of me before. But today. He went above and beyond. It’s my 50th birthday and no one took the time to celebrate this milestone with me. So I came out to dine alone. I got there 5 minutes after last call for all you can eat crab was called. But I asked him to see if it would be ok with a manager since my friends bailed on me. I wouldn’t be chatting. Just crabbing. Lolol. He got the all clear. And kept me stocked. All the staff would walk by and wish me a happy birthday. And Smiley chatted with me throughout my meal so I didn’t feel so alone. And on top of everything else. They also blessed with with a ginormous piece of chocolate cake. And here I was thinking. I wasn’t going to get cake for my birthday. Thank you Thirsty Marlin for helping this midcenturian celebrate having made it to the top of the hill. And again. Thank you Smiley for bringing a smile to my face when there was none. “We had a very good dinner although we felt the food was better at their other location, just our opinion. We went around 6pm on Saturday and Matthew our server was great. Everything we ordered came out quickly, but they were not very busy at the time. We enjoyed several sushi rolls, edamame, miso soup, and chicken hibachi. We definitely got our money worth and if you don't want to drive out to Clearwater to their other location. This location is better than a lot of other places you will find. Give them a try.“
