It’s my 50th birthday and no one took the time to celebrate this milestone with me. So I came out to dine alone. I got there 5 minutes after last call for all you can eat crab was called. But I asked him to see if it would be ok with a manager since my friends bailed on me. I wouldn’t be chatting. Just crabbing. Lolol. He got the all clear. And kept me stocked. All the staff would walk by and wish me a happy birthday. And Smiley chatted with me throughout my meal so I didn’t feel so alone. And on top of everything else. They also blessed with with a ginormous piece of chocolate cake. And here I was thinking. I wasn’t going to get cake for my birthday. “We 3 are Buffalonians, Joe is Buffalo transplant from Vermont, now all seasonal residents in LakeView of Largo. We planned a visit to Buffalo Charlie’s, turns out Art was recognized by the owner cooking our meal from Buffalo baseball teams he ran back in the day! Small world indeed! On top of that food was Great reminiscent of back home! Bologna, Beef and Chicken top notch, Gennie beer too! We’ll be back!“

“f you are heading back from Caladesi or Honeymoon Island, do yourself a favor and stop at Frenchy's Outpost. We ordered a massive spread including their velvety She Crab Soup, fresh Seafood Ceviche, and the jalapeno popper shrimp. For mains, the coconut shrimp and classic Florida Grouper Sandwich absolutely hit the spot alongside their legendary loaded Garlic Crab Fries. Don't skip dessert either; the 4th of July cake, tangy key lime pie, and rich coconut cheesecake are fantastic. The service was excellent, and the food quality justifies the price point. “My girlfriend and I were in town yesterday and today and after finding this place, we decided to try it on Saturday. Our server was Ashley and she was extremely nice and made sure we were taken care of. The food was so delicious that we decided to go again the next day before leaving. Ashley was our server again and she remembered us! She was just wonderful both days. The food was equally as good, I can’t recommend this place enough. “Our family had a great experience at Crabby’s Bar & Grill. Sherlyn was our waitress. We’ve been in Key West and Sarasota the past week and wife and I agreed she was the most attentive and friendly waitress we’ve had on our vacation. We had the blackened grouper and the oysters. what may be the best customer service I have ever received.
Yesterday, I ordered a wrap for delivery (*learned today that they have their own delivery on their site which is way better to use than something like Uber). I unfortunately recieved an abnormally disappointing meal, after frequenting Outpost in the past and always getting great food. So I posted about it here.
Within 24 hours one of the owners Wendy personally reached out, apologized for the abnormal experience, and offered to make it right. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND offering to give them another try at no expense to me. The wrap I just grabbed today was delicious (thank you, Ian).
Would highly recommend Outpost for food, but also their service is truly top notch.“

Tonight, I had my only, ever, poor experience.
The bar tender walked past me 8 times, spent time chatting with other customers and never acknowledged I was there.
It was wild.

“(Continuation from previously started comment) The very nice lady bartender asked a couple of people after I explained everything to her but nobody lived in Clearwater. At this point I started crying because I had no idea how I was going to get home. A few minutes later Jim (bartender/manager on duty) approached me and asked me my address. He said, "I'm getting you an Uber. Nobody has done something this nice for me forever. He found out how long for the ride and offered me a drink while I waited. Thank you sooo much Jim. As soon as I can get a car, I will definitely be patronizing Jack Willies Bar. The world needs more people like you!!!!“

“We'd been here before but just for drinks. This time we stopped for lunch... and wow... we're glad we did! It was a delicious delight! The Cuban was amazingly good... one of the best I've ever had and it was huge! My husband had the clam chowder and he was very pleasantly surprised. We'll definitely be back.“

“Sophia was our server on 7/30/25 around 3:30 PM, and she was an absolute joy! She went out of her way to make our kids feel special, and her kind, caring attitude truly turned our day around after a disappointing experience at Eskpades. I understand both spots may be under the same management, and that’s fine—my previous review was simply to bring attention to how guests were being treated there.

This review, however, is to highlight the stellar service we received from Sophia at Doks. She completely redeemed our experience at Club Wyndham. The food was great, the drinks were even better, and the overall atmosphere has kept us coming back daily since Friday the 25th. They even bring food and drinks right to the pool!

Sophia’s service stood out so much that we felt compelled to write this. She’s a true asset to your team—thank you, Sophia!“

The only downside was that the service was a bit slow when it came to taking our order and bringing out the food and drinks. However, the staff was friendly, and the overall experience was still enjoyable.
