“This is such a great place, and I’m not the only one who thinks so, as the folks in Tampa have voted it Best Pub in Tampa in both 2024 and 2025. Independently owned by a wonderful human, George, for 10 years The Blind Goat has it all. Great beer selection, tasty food, a fantastic selection of spirits, delicious cocktails, two dart boards, a mini stage for events, a great back room, a great outdoor/patio space, amd more TVs than you can shake a stick at. “Anchor Tavern DI has become one of my favorite local spots. The atmosphere is relaxed, the people are friendly, and it's easy to settle in and enjoy yourself without feeling rushed.
The wings are always a must and some of the best I've had. Honestly, I've never had a bad meal here. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and exactly what you hope for from a great neighborhood tavern.
The service is excellent and everyone is genuinely friendly and attentive. It's the kind of place you recommend to friends because you know they'll have a great time. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great food, awesome wings, and people who make you feel like a regular, Anchor Tavern is hard to beat.“

“Best bar in all of Tampa. Bartenders and staff treat you like family. The food is unlike any other regular bar food. Yes it’s bar food, but it’s bar food with a palate. The chef here always goes above and beyond on their dishes. You also have to try their weekly specials 🤤 10/10 great place for a quick date, or to come hangout with friends, any day of the week 🤙🏽“

“We stopped for lunch after an event in Tampa. First time here! The atmosphere is unique with an huge Aloha sign on the ceiling above our table. The booths are cozy and private. The view outside is beautiful, but too hot for today. We ordered the Manhattan sushi roll and the southwest smash burger. Amanda, our server paired my sushi roll with some excellent sauces; best sushi roll I’ve ever had! My husband’s burger was awesome & sloppy, which he absolutely loves! We’ll definitely be back!“

“A little recommendation….while attending the concert last night (8/10/23) at Mid-Florida Amphitheater we stayed at the Embassy Suites in Brandon. We are Hilton people so staying at their family of hotels is always our first choice. But I have to tell you, this Embassy Suites takes customer service to the next level. From Matthew who checked us in, to Gina the bartender, to Mike and Millie who made our breakfast, to Chad the General Manager, they did not miss one opportunity to make sure we were completely satisfied. A bonus was that the hotel was a $12 Uber ride to the Amphitheater. If you can swing it, stay here when your attend your next concert.“

“Great food, wings are awesome. Burger is excellent pork chops are phenomenal.
Get the loaded chili fries or tots. Save room for the apple crumble dessert as it is huge and big enough to share.
Lots of beer on tap, but also cool cocktails. Nice seating options like couches, high tops, booths, tables, bar tops
& big outdoor patio. Staff is great, this place is wonderful for game day.“

“I had a 3 hour lay over and Yanet the bar tender immediately greeted me with positive energy. The bar was clean. She was very intensive.When I come back to this airport. I definitely will be coming back here again. The drinks where great but the guest service was impeccable thank you“
“I was so impressed by Todd, your front desk associate. He was always very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He addressed each and every issue/question I had immediately and was always receptive, attentive, and very courteous. He even remembered my name after just one time talking to him. I usually don't write reviews, but I was so impressed by his customer service skills that I had to make a review. No days exceptional customer service is hard to find if not non-existent. Please let Todd know that it didn't go unnoticed and it was greatly appreciated.“

“If you're looking for a nice break, check out Anchor Tavern. Great burgers and wings, and the kitchen stays open a little later than other places around downtown. The bartender was great, and the Happy Hour and daily specials are nice!“

“5 stars for the weeknight pool league bartender. She is incredibly attentive, on point with service, and keeps everything running smoothly even when it gets busy. Very friendly and welcoming, with a sweet personality that makes the whole atmosphere better. The blonde bartender always makes sure drinks are right and guests are taken care of. Great experience every time“
