“This was our first dining experience here at Black Rock. They did not disappoint whatsoever. From the time that we entered until we finished our meals, we were treated with excellent customer service. The Host - Tori, was very pleasant. Once seated, my wife and I received the most outstanding customer service (waitress, Hannah) that we’ve ever received when dining in quite a while. Not sure of the bartenders name, nonetheless, the drinks were very good also. The food was definitely worth the wait. The food was extremely well prepared. Hannah, thoroughly explained how to cook the steaks on the stone, then allowed us to enjoy our meal. (Thank you Chefs) Due to our outstanding experience, we will definitely be returning. As I mentioned to one of the managers there, it seems as though people will find something to complain about, but rarely take time out to say “Thank you.” I wanted to thank the entire staff for a great dining experience.“

“Wonderful vibe and atmosphere, empty on a Saturday making it a hidden gem close to downtown Tampa. The food was phenomenal and unique; the steak tips were delicious and cooked medium, but some pieces were chewy, others were soft, the queso was also delicious simply felt that it needed to be hotter temperature wise and there was what seems like a sausage wrapped in bacon that was absolutely delicious,sweet, and savory. Meanwhile the drinks were reasonably priced and strong. It’s not often I post a review, but truthfully I fell in love with this diamond in the rough, will definitely be coming back, and not alone.“

The place is iconic and a great place to watch the game, meet up at the end of the day, or just escape from a house full of guests that won't leave. “A little recommendation….while attending the concert last night (8/10/23) at Mid-Florida Amphitheater we stayed at the Embassy Suites in Brandon. We are Hilton people so staying at their family of hotels is always our first choice. But I have to tell you, this Embassy Suites takes customer service to the next level. From Matthew who checked us in, to Gina the bartender, to Mike and Millie who made our breakfast, to Chad the General Manager, they did not miss one opportunity to make sure we were completely satisfied. A bonus was that the hotel was a $12 Uber ride to the Amphitheater. If you can swing it, stay here when your attend your next concert.“

“Great food better than any chain location to eat. The mall just looks shady at night and the police always hang out in this shopping center for some reason. I'm not sure if there is a lot of crime there or what?

Parking: There is always tons of parking.“

“They host biker events and annuals. This was my third anniversary for my sisters club, we joined and met alot of great folks and had a great time. Food was good and quick, service was excellent each girl was on point and they all looked beautiful. The drinks were good but more liquor please less ice. ?.“

If you are looking for those delicious fritters and mofongo this is the place. Issy the owner, her brother Claudio and family and employees will make you feel like family and on the Island. Completely and totally with respect and professionalism. After going and sharing and getting to know them and other clients you will realize that you will want to return. Don't forget to eat a delicious alcapurria, seafood salads, mofongo and don't forget to drink a delicious frozen sangria or passion fruit from Gasolina. The beers are very cold as are the juices and soft drinks. Me and my family had not been able to go for almost a year due to all the things that are happening including Covid. We decided to go tonight and how divine it was to go and come back and feel that family warmth when they welcomed us upon arrival. I sang karaoke with Claudio, danced and shared with several people I had met before, regular clients and new ones I met. Wowwwww the truth is that we needed it and from now on we will definitely return again and more often. THE BEST THING IS THE RULES REGARDING COVID. DON'T FORGET YOUR MASK YOU WILL BE RESPECTED. “Place is open late at night with good music and drinks. I would recommend if you need to go out and get a bite and drinks with friends and family at the mall.
