“Found this place 4 years ago when myself and my husband bought a house. We stopped by one afternoon and have been going here a few times a week ever since. “Love this little gem in Tampa. Have been here on 4 separate occasions and will absolutely be back. The drinks are always delicious, both brunches and dinners were very tasty. Some of my favorite items were the Fred's Roasted Chicken and Buttermilk Bacon Wedge salads. Brought my husband here for a date night one evening and he liked it a lot as well. Unique place that has New York City vibe. Not a large menu, but enough to be able to choose items anyone enjoys. “I first knew about Village Inn in Omaha, Nebraska so imagine my surprise when I came to Florida. I first visited Village Inn in clearwater and then for whatever reason, it shut down and then another one on Dale Mabry and that became some other establishment, so I started coming to this one closer to Kennedy also on Dale Mabry. I was happy to see a familiar face from another location named Rosie-an amazing human being with a heart of gold. Another familiar face is Brenda and Brenda is an amazing server with super service and high attention to detail. Now Village Inn at this location can up it's game a bit by interior updates for a more pleasant dining experience. Most of the servers are exceptional such as GG, Tiffany, Sharonda, Holly, Denise, Brenda, Danielle, Angie, Jackie and Annette. GG is by far my most favorite because she is attentive, always has a smile on her face, and goes the extra mile to deliver a wonderful experience. I am a regular here and visit Village Inn when Im in town-Wish they had Village Inn in NY, NJ, CT, PA, and VA with at least one GG in each location. GG is high energy and super at her job as she takes a lot of pride in what she does and she takes her job very seriously. GG has a high attention to detail, gets every detail of my order and usually knows what I like before I ask just the way I like it. Without asking, GG is usually on top of her A-game and replenishes empty drinks and always has a smile on her face with a wonderful small talk exchange in a proactive manner. GG is a strong asset to Village Inn as a high energy server and pleasant to talk with. Tiffany is much the same way and Tiffany is super chill as well. On the same note, Ive had absolutely atrocious service by someone who forgot to give me utensils, brought the wrong dressing, and apologize for being distracted by another table to the point I had to ask for another server. I get it some people are having a bad day and got distracted we are all human . Awesome set of managers such as Joie, Rosie, Denise, and Cherie. At random times, I always pay for any law enforcement in appreciation for all they do as well as other tables just cuz. Food is fresh and tasty for most selections as well as customizing food the way I like it such as avocado salad, avocado toast, and other types of dishes done in a certain way.“

“Came in to do some work while waiting for a friend to land at TPA. Tatum was so sweet when I called prior and let her know I was wanting to do some work and get some drinks while doing so. “On Mothers Day, I decided to get a cod fish dinner. Went about 2:45 pm. Ordered close to $30 worth of food. The dinner and chicken were good. However..wth is wrong with your concrete mixers? Is the machine broken? When I got down the street I noticed it was not the consistency that it should be..not thick, close to a melted mess. The lid that was on it was open which I feel it should have been covered. I put it in the freezer for an hour. Pulled it out ..put the spoon in it and it was gross..I had to toss it in the sink. A Waste of money. I will not buy that ever again. Also, not offered a scoop of custard on Mothers day as promised. Brian, the assistant manager came over and gave us some tips on local places to go and things to do. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We did encounter a small problem with our order, which was promptly resolved. The burger was good, although a bit bland, and I asked for loaded fries sans bacon, and still saw some on the fries.
