“I don't usually go out of my way to leave reviews, but the exceptional service I received from manager Amanda and hostess McKenna tonight deserves some recognition. TLDR: UberEats dropped the ball on my order, through no fault of the restaurant. Amanda and McKenna bent over backwards to make it right, even though it wasn't thier fault whatsoever. Today is Father's Day, and my 77 year old dad loves the catfish. Since we were watching the US Open golf tournament all day, we decided to order from UberEats. Well, that was the first bad decision. After more than an hour had passed, I see a notification from UberEats saying they are running late. Another 20 minutes go by, and now I'm getting a little worried. I look at the driver they assigned, and he is in Clearwater, at least 30 minutes away. At this point, it had been near 2 hours so I cancelled the UberEats. I then call the restaurant, and speak to McKenna who was super friendly and personable. She tells me that unfortunately, my Uber Eata order had been sitting too long for the Catfish to still be edible, and they also don't have any more catfish. This was hard new to take, as the catfish is the Father's Day meal my dad had been requesting for weeks. McKenna then connects me to the manager Amanda and I begin to explain my situation again. Amanda stopped me before I could even start, and she began apologizing profusely. Keep in mind, Walk-ons had nothing to do with the UberEats problem. They could have easily told me to take it up with UberEats. instead, Amanda offered to make me any dish on the menu, on them, to make up for the problems. Not only that, but she might have someone that could even drive it to me if I lived close enough. In the end, I drove to pick up the order because I wanted to thank them personally for their hospitality. When I arrived, McKenna greeted me at the door and Amanda was close by. Both were just as helpful in person as they were on the phone. Not only was my new order ready, but they threw in a bread pudding for my troubles. In a post-covid world where service standards have sunk to all time lows, Walk-On's, and specifically Amanda and McKenna, really shined tonight. Blown away would an understatement. I can't wait to go back and get that catfish!”

My boyfriend and I split the burger with shrimp tempura and the Nashville chicken mac and cheese. Both were so flavorful! We loved everything and we can’t wait to come back to try the desserts!!”

When we got there, my wife and I opted for the Mac n Cheese w/fried chicken along with a Cob salad with fried chicken. Best duo we've ever had, anywhere. All ingredients freshly prepared, I'm sure the burger is to die for too...I'll save that for next time. As one food network star says...It's "flavor town". SO MUCH FLAVOR and texture. Everything is thought out. Do not...I repeat...do not leave the Sarasota area without dining here as many times as you can!”

“This was my first time working with a Food Truck company and I only had 1 week to book a Food Truck for a company event. One of our Vendors was paying for a Food Truck Day at one of our locations in Tampa, FL. I worked with Kim Sanders, the Food Truck Aficionado. She was prompt and professional. Kim provided excellent recommendations. We ended up choosing 2 trucks for our Event. They arrived promptly on the day of the event and the FOOD and SERVICE were AMAZING! Since we were serving up to 200 people in 3 Hours, Kim suggested to pick 3 entrees and 2 sides per Food Truck. This worked out Perfect!

“One of my favorite places to eat in Tampa. Intimate seating area. Large menu, everything I have tried on it has been a winner. I now have a hard time choosing what to get. Portions are large. The owner and his staff are wonderful, kind people with a passion for what they do.

Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu, usually can split it into two meals.”
