“C.1949 is a fantastic local establishment. The staff is friendly and helpful, makes everyone feel like they belong there. Everyone seems to pick up that neighborly vibe..and the options of beers on tap is great. Always some locals, some new and some unusual but always well brewed and poured up. They have fun events, karaoke and goat yoga are 2 that come to mind. I can’t say enough about how nice it is to have a local, fun, neighborhood watering hole to be able to walk or bike too.“

“First timer. I was out with my wife for our anniversary, and I wanted to go to a speakeasy for a night cap. This place popped up in my search, and I am so glad we checked it out. Absolutely stunning decor, and they have inside and outside seating. There was a great DJ playing when we arrived, which was on a Saturday at midnight. We tried several drinks from the menu. My favorites were the Mandarin Melon and the Pearl grey. I think it is next to a restaurant so we will definitely be back to try the food. I highly recommend trying this lovely speakeasy, though.“

“This place was really good. Not only that they have a very good selection of beers, but the food was actually excellent. We were surprised that the nachos were so good and the Caesar salad was excellent. It’s a cheap place to eat, but a great place to kind of sit outside enjoy the cruise ships and look around and enjoy the nice weather. It’s definitely place will be back when we’re in the area. And it’s right near the Florida aquarium so it’s convenient.“

“We were visiting the Zoo and were looking for a quick place to grab a bite to eat. I love the ambience of the place. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Felt like a local everybody knows each other spot. The food was great. If I lived closer I’d be a repeat customer. Definitely a good place to a stop In if you’re in the area going to the zoo.“

“I recommend going during the day/sunset if you are looking for views of the water. Unfortunately, I went at night so I didn't get to enjoy the scenery. Plenty of outdoor seating and very relaxing atmosphere when I was there. Parking is horrible, valet parking I think was $26. I was lucky enough to park in the parking deck across the street. Because it was before closing I was able to park for free. Might not be able to do that during the day. I had a mojito and it was good.“

“Our bartender Ryan was great. They do not serve food but you are welcome to bring your own in from one of the many nearby restaurants or get delivery. Great happy hour and daily drink specials. We went specifically for Golden Tee golf, but there are other bar games and a pool table. Bathrooms were clean and stocked too.

Parking: It's located in the corner of a decent sized plaza so parking was free and plentiful“

“This is a great place to bring a date. I enjoyed the couches which gave the place a more intimate feel. I went on a Thursday night and it wasn't as crowded as I expected it to be. Service was good but as it picked up, the one bartender was struggling to keep up. Drinks are not cheap but they're not cheap anywhere other than maybe a dive bar. Parking can also be an issue if you're not looking to pay for valet. Finding the entrance was also a little difficult. I definitely recommend this place for a date night.“

“Absolutely love the food and environment. I'm here every Friday and Saturday night! Brittany and Mary are the absolute best. Mary always goes above and beyond to make sure our food and drink orders are taken car of! My son plays Saturday mornings seems like the service isn't as outstanding as Saturday evenings. During the morning hours takes way to long to get service let alone food and drinks. The cooks seem to be a little better in the evenings as well. When here on Saturday I try to wait till the late afternoon to order haha.“

“One of Tampa’s hidden gems that has been around for a long time. Good prices on their pours which can also be generous in quantity. They finally banned smoking inside so it no longer reeks and this has allowed me to finally enjoy being here. Good to catch some local bands hare and the package store, accessed inside, has has some good bottles on occasion with quite reasonable pricing at or even below MSRP.“

“Rocking music from local bands establishes a kick butt atmosphere. The venue itself is rustic and gives you a garage band feel. Service was nice with the staff dressed according to the music. Tickets in advance were very reasonable considering 5 bands played for the evening“
