She said yeah she heard the phone ringing but it was too far for her to pick up? At least the food was good and came out fast.“

“Once again JAlexander's served up a perfectly cooked Ribeye for me and awesome Crab Cakes for the wife. This restaurant truly is the best. Delicious food, courteous professional staff and a really nice atmosphere. Our server “Deva” made our visit fun, thanks Deva. My only complaint is that I have to drive from Riverview to Tampa but in the end very much worth it. I recommend anyone who’s looking for great food and steaks cooked the way they should be go to JAlexander’s. Prices are better than other more expensive steak restaurants. Will definitely be back.“

“We are visiting from out of town and wanted some seafood so we stopped into Shells. There were 6 of us and seating for larger groups is definitely limited so if you do have a larger party I recommend getting there early before the dinner rush. We sat at the bar since there were no larger tables available, which was fine, and had an amazing waitress Taylor wait on us. She was friendly, attentive, answered all of our questions, and was flexible with any food substitutes or recommendations we needed. I got the crab legs and fried shrimp which were both delicious! Not everyone in our group liked seafood, so it was nice that the restaurant didn’t smell fishy and they also had lots of non seafood options at great prices! I felt like we got a lot of food for the price we paid too. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back next time we come to Tampa.“

“Had a disappointing experience this time around. The food took ages and the stakes were a bit overcooked. Maybe because it was a Saturday evening but it felt like the culinary experience didn't match our previous one. The attention was awesome, though, as usual.“

Not only was my meal on point (Crab Bisque and Norwegian Salmon), the owner - Mr Michael - visited our table several times to ensure that we were given the proper attention as well as for a bit of chit chat. “We went on a Saturday night. It was pretty packed, but we waited and got a table outside. It was beautiful. The food was awesome. The staff was wonderful especially our waiter. Definitely would go back and recommend.“

“I use to really like the Salt Shack rum runners. They changed the way they make it. Our table ordered 4 rum drinks. All of them were different. One was good three were bad, one was even made with coconut rum. I tried to call and ask if this was the new way. They do not answer their phone. One more chance“

“I don't usually go out of my way to leave reviews, but the exceptional service I received from manager Amanda and hostess McKenna tonight deserves some recognition. TLDR: UberEats dropped the ball on my order, through no fault of the restaurant. Amanda and McKenna bent over backwards to make it right, even though it wasn't thier fault whatsoever. Today is Father's Day, and my 77 year old dad loves the catfish. Since we were watching the US Open golf tournament all day, we decided to order from UberEats. Well, that was the first bad decision. After more than an hour had passed, I see a notification from UberEats saying they are running late. Another 20 minutes go by, and now I'm getting a little worried. I look at the driver they assigned, and he is in Clearwater, at least 30 minutes away. At this point, it had been near 2 hours so I cancelled the UberEats. I then call the restaurant, and speak to McKenna who was super friendly and personable. She tells me that unfortunately, my Uber Eata order had been sitting too long for the Catfish to still be edible, and they also don't have any more catfish. This was hard new to take, as the catfish is the Father's Day meal my dad had been requesting for weeks. McKenna then connects me to the manager Amanda and I begin to explain my situation again. Amanda stopped me before I could even start, and she began apologizing profusely. Keep in mind, Walk-ons had nothing to do with the UberEats problem. They could have easily told me to take it up with UberEats. instead, Amanda offered to make me any dish on the menu, on them, to make up for the problems. Not only that, but she might have someone that could even drive it to me if I lived close enough. In the end, I drove to pick up the order because I wanted to thank them personally for their hospitality. When I arrived, McKenna greeted me at the door and Amanda was close by. Both were just as helpful in person as they were on the phone. Not only was my new order ready, but they threw in a bread pudding for my troubles. In a post-covid world where service standards have sunk to all time lows, Walk-On's, and specifically Amanda and McKenna, really shined tonight. Blown away would an understatement. I can't wait to go back and get that catfish!“

Homemade Diri djondjon and vabrit with very good homemade sauces. Fries too. We tried the avocabo and sauce. The ingredients in the avocado were great, with a very spicy sauce. Very nice presentation, and fairly fast service. I recommend!“

“Mis Lili has the best devil crabs in Tampa, and anywhere for that matter. My dad grew up in Tampa and used to frequent Seabreeze. Every time we go to FL we make a trip to see her and get devil crabs. We even get them uncooked and frozen to bring back to Arkansas to eat later. They are THAT GOOD! You must stop and see Miss Lili!“

“Its an unusual experience, but one we thoroughly enjoyed. It is picnic table style seating. Walk in and claim a table then go to the counter to order. They bring your food to you when it is ready. The people there were just the kindest, nicest folks. Service was extraordinary. And the food was off the hook! My wife and I had the catfish and gumbo. Maybe the best piece of fish I have ever eaten. We also had oysters on the half shell and the char broiled oysters. Both were excellent. Very fresh oysters. My daughter had the blackened hog fish. It was AMAZING!! The fries were good (maybe could be a little crisper), the collards were great, and the cornbread was really fantastic. All in all, a great experience and will will definitely go back.“

“They have a good amount of seafood available. Open later than grocery stores, and are fast at handling. Somewhat pricier than grocery store however higher quality and fresher. They also have a restaurant inside. Pretty nice store. Will be returning.“

“From entering to exiting, the staff was very friendly. Well seasoned and flavorful Mediterranean and seafood dishes. Busch Gardens tries to hide this place with their half-mile wall, but we made the trek anyway! In a sea of burgers and nuggets at the theme park, we wanted something better and this place hit the spot. Happy campers!“

I am always greeted with a smile and they are happy to make my food to order ( I always seem to have substitutions) Sometimes they are super busy, but they will always make you a priority and value everyone who comes in the door. The Highwoods sandwich is a favorite for folks at our company, give it a try!“
