“My family and I decided to try something new for dinner, and we're so glad we chose this Chinese restaurant. We ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork, Mapo Tofu Combo, Spicy Chicken, Spicy Boiled Beef, and a cucumber salad to share. Every dish had its own unique flavors and was prepared really well. The Sweet & Sour Pork had crispy pieces of pork coated in a perfectly balanced sauce that was tangy, sweet, and incredibly satisfying. The Mapo Tofu Combo was rich and comforting, with silky tofu in a savory, spicy sauce that paired wonderfully with the rice. The Spicy Chicken had a crispy texture and bold seasoning with just the right amount of heat that kept us reaching for another bite. The Spicy Boiled Beef was the standout of the meal, featuring incredibly tender slices of beef in a fragrant chili broth packed with deep, authentic flavors. The cucumber salad added a refreshing, crisp contrast that helped balance the richness and spice of the other dishes.

The restaurant had a clean, welcoming atmosphere with a comfortable dining area that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to answer our questions since we were trying several dishes for the first time. Their recommendations were spot on, and the service was quick without making us feel rushed. “WOW... I’ve been all over town trying different Chinese food spots, and this place really impressed me. The food and the service were excellent.

I ordered the honey wings with pork fried rice, and it was so good I actually felt like calling the owner just to congratulate them on the plate! I didn’t because I thought it might be a little weird, but that should tell you how impressed I was.

This meal took me back to New York. FOR REAL.

The food is outstanding. It is a little pricier than some other Chinese spots, but absolutely worth it. The presentation was great too—nice packaging, a clean bag, and even a box of hand wipes. Those little touches were appreciated, but the food was definitely the star of the show.

It had been a while since I last came here, but after this experience, they’ll definitely be seeing me more often.

I can confidently say this is the best Chinese food I’ve had anywhere in Tampa. Not even close.

“Usually eating Take Out is more expensive then cooking at home or getting microwave meals. This place is extremely cheap prices. For $10 you can get 4 Pounds of Shrimp, Beef, Pork Lomain that is 3,000 calories of food!!! You can also get tons of other $10 3,000 calories meals here. From Lomaine, Fried Rice, Beef and Broccoli and more. If I was to go to a regular Restaurant and order 3,000 calories of food it would cost me $40-$80 depending on the level of Restaurant. Great food!!!!!! The shrimp is also very great and seems like it comes locally. The only thing I would like to state is that if you order stuff like Beef and Broccoli with Rice - you will get not only a large amount of Beef Broccoli but massive amount of swollen Rice. The rice is Plain, but you can easily season it with whatever seasoning, soy sauce or ketchup you want. I recommend the Pork or Shrimp Lomaine for $10 the medium. It is enough food for 3 people to eat. The General Tsos Chicken is great, but a little too sweat for me.“

They serve the best Chinese cuisine we have had in this area. Every dish was seasoned with remarkable precision and bursting with flavor. That saying is exactly what Dragon Express is....You could easily drive by it over and over again but like most holes in a wall you still see it. I finally went to Dragon Express after myself and family had enough of Happi Work another local Chinese food restaurant where the very often rude and smug CSR register attendant dared us to find another restaurant locally that was better than Happy Work, where they often left out entire food selections and additions with no compensation or even an apology. Thanks to their dare and constant rudeness I found Dragon Express. For starters the Owner is great polite and a attentive listener, whether you are on the phone or in person he has never gotten or order wrong or missed out food items. Prices are very reasonable and currently expected. Food is outstanding..... Being I've been all over the world and country I can say the food here is a product of the craftsmen who prepare it. I don't have to convince myself it's good because it is all you have in the University area. it's great as compared to other places visited. I've been there a number of time and it's I great to finally have everything that comes with your ordered meal present upon pickup. The plus is finally having a real portion of barbecue spareribs and general Tso chicken with some kick. “We ordered delivery from Hong Kong a few weeks ago after an exhaustive search for *good* Chinese food. We were really pleasantly surprised at the quality, so we ordered again last night.

This place does not disappoint. We got the Chicken Fried Rice and The Four Seasons, and both dishes were excellent quality. The proteins they use are great quality and you can tell they are using fresh vegetables. They're crisp and perfectly cooked.

You get a lot of food for the price you pay as well. Delivery was on time (a few min early, actually).

This is our new go-to spot for Chinese food. Please keep up the quality, great prices and portions, and friendly service!

But it’s hands down, one of those gems with great food, small family owned, everyone is really friendly when I come twice a week and they keep the inside dining room area way cleaner than most Chinese places I’ve been to. Prices are low to average in my opinion a when you tie in the good food, it’s a great deal. I wish they would add more tables and chairs, and maybe start advertising dine-in options because they definitely have the space for it. “Jin China is my favorite Chinese restaurant. This is my husband and myself Friday night dinner every week. I love their fried wings, crab Rangoon and their shrimp fried rice. The chicken chow mein is delicious. And their pupu platter is good if you love fried foods. My husband loves their general tso chicken with white rice.“

“After reading mixed reviews I finally gave this place a shot. I am so pleased I did. I ordered to go over the phone. Mr. Frank was sweet and we spoke at length when I arrived. It was my first time and so I got 3 lunch specials. The pineapple shrimp was my favorite. I also got the orange chicken which was excellent and the shrimp lo mein. I asked for the special chili oil on the side and was warned of how hot it was. I did not heed the warning and was shocked later thinking I knew better. Warning the chili sauce is hotter than usual. The lunch specials come with either white/ or fried rice, and a choice of wonton soup (amazing), egg drop soup, or an egg roll. It was a hot day and I thought I would get 1 wonton soup based on other reviews and 2 egg rolls. The wonton soup is delicious and I kicked myself for not getting all 3 with it. All the food was good large shrimp in the pineapple shrimp and smaller ones in the lo mein. Fried rice is basic but I usually scramble a few eggs and add frozen peas/ carrots to all basic takeout fried rice, along with a few packs of soy sauce. I was very pleased so don't let the negative reviews detour you from trying this place. Lunch specials are available from Mon-Sat 11-3 which is nice if you are craving it on the weekend. I can not attest to the delivery since I picked it up myself but I would not hesitate to have them deliver it next time. Prices are reasonable but have gone up a tad based on older menus, but haven't they gone up everywhere?“

“Kang’s Garden is one of our go-to spots for consistently fast, fresh and delicious takeout! We’ve tried the beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, General Tso’s chicken, lo mein, and every dish has been flavorful and cooked perfectly. Service is great and friendly, they never mess up my orders either.

The real standout, though, is the egg rolls, they are absolutely to die for! Crispy on the outside, packed with flavor, and always served fresh. Every order has been hot, delicious, and consistently great. Restaurant inside is a normal fast casual Chinese restaurant, and always clean. “I frequent this location from time to time and today was a completely different experience. I noticed new employees working today and 1 person caught my attention. There is a young man named Nate running the first station He did a fantastic job ensuring everyone’s order was made correctly. In addition it seemed like less employees working on the line, but everything ran smoothly. Stations were clean, food was fresh and staff was courteous. Give these outstanding folks a raise. “Was debating between this and Sarku Japan, but the lady handing out free samples swung me to China 88 and I’m glad she did! The chicken is delicious and very meaty. I was concerned the general Tso would be too bready, but it had plenty of meat unlike a certain panda themed Asian chain that sells fried bread with sauce and calls it orange ‘chicken’. The Mongolian chicken (the forked one in the pic lol) was very savory and the sauce had really good flavor. The spicy bourbon had a nice kick to it, but I would’ve liked it more if it was a little spicier. I got the 3 meat plate combo with sautéed veggies as well as 2 sugar biscuits for $18, which I think is a solid deal for what I got. Generous portions and the lady was really nice. I highly recommend checking them out.“
