“I can't say enough...five stars isn't good enough. the staff are exceptional. Chef Hales is such an amazing host. The food is incredible. The dining experience is without compare. Hales blackbrick is a step way above ANY dining experience. I am so happy we tried it.“
“I can't believe it's taken me this long to review this place. I fell in love with their food from day one. I usually eat here twice month but that's only because it's 30 mins away from me. I have never had a bad meal here, its always fresh and tasty. I consider myself a food snob and I have a very good taste pallet so yeah if you have not been here, you're missing out. The only thing I would change from here is a bigger location.“
“The Red Bowl is as advertised, authentic szechewan Chinese food. They offer a wide array of dishes, including 4 different types of noodles, which delight the customers' taste buds. As needed special diets can be accomodated, so be sure to ask. All the dishes are freshly prepared. This little restaurant is a hidden gem. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.“
“Beijing House is my new favorite Chinese restaurant in Tampa Bay - their wontons in chili oil, green beans with minced pork and salt & pepper fish are just some of my favorites. The food is fresh and delicious! The staff is very nice and the decor is lovely.“
“The food was delish. Very fresh! We had the hot n sour soup, Wonton Soup, Wok stir fry chicken & mixed veggies in brown sauce and Grnersl Tso chicken. Portions were large, the wait staff was very attentive, and the food was fresh. I will be back. I highly recommend this place!“
“China Wok never fails to impress!I ordered the General Tso's Chicken with Pork Fried Rice and a Pork Egg Roll, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The flavors were on point, and the portion sizes were generous. The sauce that accompanied the General Tso's Chicken was particularly delicious, adding the perfect balance of sweet and savory. And to top it off, they have great to-go bags! The convenience of their well-designed to-go bags makes it easy to bring home leftovers and enjoy them later. But it's not just the food and packaging that keeps me coming back – the owner is always fantastic, providing top-notch service with a smile. The warm and welcoming atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience. If you're craving flavorful and authentic Chinese cuisine with excellent service and convenient to-go options, look no further than China Wok. Highly recommend!“
“We got late dinner at the Chinese restaurant after a long driving time from Georgia to Tampa. The food served quickly. We had 3 person and we chose egg drop soup, vegetables stir fried with garlic, calamari and honey walnut shrimp. Highly recommend the daisy tea with palm sugar, it made I felt better before eating. For overall, the food was normal but we were supper hungry and portion was big. This restaurant is good for family gather to a round table.“
“Very small unassuming Chinese restaurant with the BEST Kung Pao & General Tso's chicken we have ever had in 50+ years of dining out in 8 states. The chef served our food freshly cooked in about 15 minutes. The only negative was canned soda. The price was very reasonable too. We live 42 miles away, but will make the trip again----it was THAT good.“
“We had a good experience at Lan Zhou Lamen Noodle House. The service was top notch and very attentive. We ordered the fried dumplings to start off and they were really good. Honestly, the best I've had in a while so I highly recommend. I ordered the beef stir fry hand pulled noodles and they were also really good. My boyfriend ordered the beef noodle soup, and it wasn't his favorite unfortunately. He said that it didn't have as much flavor as he was expecting. He did love my dish and kept digging into it so he was happy in the end. We would definitely go back and maybe try some of the other stir fry noodle dishes.“
“P.F. Chang's offers modern Asian cuisine in a stylish setting. From their famous lettuce wraps to tasty stir-fries, every dish is packed with flavor. Whether you're dining alone or with friends, P.F. Chang's guarantees a delicious experience every time. ?“
“Best Chinese food we've had in the Citrus Park area. If we're ever ordering take out this is where we're going. My personal favorites are the beef w broccoli, Singapore mei fun, and the sesame chicken.Crab rangoons and the soup are also great here. You also can't go wrong with sweet and sour chicken. They don't have an online ordering option but I don't mind that - they answer the phone every time. Make sure you take home a menu.“
“New favorite Chinese takeout restaurant , drove by a few place because this place was rated slightly higher. Well worth the extra 5 minutes in the car…. General Tao shrimp and garlic chicken both were great, good egg rolls, and ready when “
“We are really going to miss this place. From countless times at the buffet to dozens of delivery orders Hao Wah never failed us. Many visits after work and the staff was always helpful and friendly to a tired worker after her 12 hour hospital shift. Wonderful people serving fine food. Thanks for years of providing for the community and our family.“
“This is my favorite and only restaurant where I get oxtail in the Tampa/St.Pete/Clearwater area I’ll drive an hour if I have too. It’s so delicious, always tender falling off the bone and the sides are so fresh. The juices are great too. I love the passion fruit. This is a family run and owed establishment. The boss lady is super nice and the son always makes up laugh, the daughter is so sweet and always smiling. They treat my sisters and I so well. And it’s always a pleasure going there. Whether I sit and eat or take food to go it aways taste great.“
“Consistently good food, my husband and I have eaten here several times while being in Florida. Every waiter/ waitress we've had has been super friendly. I believe Juan was the last one we had, and he went above and beyond! Love the fried rice, steamed dumplings, crab Rangoon, and spring rolls.“
“I was on vacation and in the mood for Chinese food. I consulted the authority...Yelp, and found China Taste. They had something on the menu I have rarely seen since leaving New York...shrimp toast. That us my absolute favorite. So off I went. The food was great, the service was great. I ordered a combination dish with plain fried rice and the girl asked if I didn't eat pork. I said pork is not a problem and she said "because the egg roll has pork in it". I thought that was considerate. I order plain because I hate all the onions in fried rice but that was a good catch on her part I thought. Anyway, if you're in that area, the food is really good“
“This is my go-to take out Chinese. They're always quick with the orders. It's usually ready when I get there, and it's always tasty. The people who work their are always polite. I have yet to have a problem.Definitely recommend you order ahead. This IS the pick-up spot in my opinion. At least in my neck of the woods.Vegetarian options: Mixed vegetables are great. Haven't tried their bean curds, but if everything else is an example, it should be awesome.“
“Feichang hao!!!This is genuinely an excellent authentic Chinese restaurant that used to be called Asia Fusia a few years back but now, the new renovations of the dining room and openess make it quite comfortable for parties and guests or small gatherings. The host and hostess are friendly and very helpful as the menu is extensive with a lot of choices to choose from. There is traditional Chinese barbeque "kao rou" along with excellent soups that are both meat and veg options but tasty nonetheless.Boiled fish "xue jer yu" is a favorite spicy boiled fish dish that is a Szechuan trademark and done perfectly here. We also ordered the non spicy fish in a broth that is "clean" and tasty. Eggplant with sweet potato, cucumber (served cool) in a spicy sauce is highly recommended and an excellent appetizer. Cumin lamb was outstanding which is a barbeque dish that Western China uses since it is influenced by Nepal and India on the Western borders. I ordered a takeout a few days ago and went back last night with some friends and guests and we will defintely be back!*This is not fake Chinese or American-Chinese that is so common in most places. “Excellent authentic Chinese food. We ordered a couple dim sum items in addition to our meals for family style. Tried spicy eggplant dish, steamed spareribs, bok choy with garlic, General Tsao chicken, pork dumplings, beef with broccoli, chicken with cashews, and more. Everything very flavorful and if you like things hotter you can add in spices from tabletop condiments. Also took home sesame balls filled with red bean paste- so sweet and delicious! YUM :)“
“Always pleased with the service and food here. I've been using this restaurant for well over 8 years with very few issues (everyone makes mistakes) Speedy delivery, well before the expected time. They take note of and are cautious of food allergies that my children have. Tokyo is my #1 choice when it comes to local Chinese and I'm glad to have them nearby!“
“My go to spot for Chinese food when I'm in the Tampa area. Nothing too fancy on the inside, but it's clean and has a welcoming atmosphere, so it's not uncommon to see people dining in. Consistently fast and surprisingly friendly service. Food is fresh and good, and not too salty. I usually get a protein with broccoli entree with pork fried rice and egg roll combo. The portion is sizeable for the price, so you do feel like you're getting your money's worth. Overall a solid place for fast Chinese food.“
“Wanting dim sum, but obviously arriving too late at 6 PM we had to order off the menu because this place is beautiful. Large spacious plenty of seating, several private rooms along the side of the dining room. Sit down to beautiful China on the tables as well as a view of all of the live fish tanks. We ordered salt and pepper, fried tofu and shrimp in lobster black bean sauce. Start with some green tea absolutely fabulous tasty food large portions served beautifully. I always have to bring my own take away containers for anything left over after the meal and the weight staff thanked me very much. So feel free to use your containers, at the end of the meal we received a check and a complementary dessert, which was fascinating because it was a warm red bean soup with tapioca. Interesting that a bowl of peanuts is put out on the table just to Nosh on and they were very good because they were Spanish red skin peanuts. Beautiful restaurant located in the back Plaza next to the M and D market. that is not to be missed. Plenty of parking.“
“This is typically an excellent Chinese place where we can go an order off an authentic Chinese menu (if you read Chinese). We have been coming here for years. The food os delicious, but have noticed a drop in quality recently. And they don't serve your food with rice you sort of have to ask for it... which is a little odd.“
“Great american style chinese takeout. I have been going for the last 2 weeks and their lunch specials are fantastic. After tax around $9 and comes with a heavy portion of your chosen protein, pork fried rice, egg roll, and a soda. So far, i tried their sesame chicken and general tso and both are excellent. The owner/front of house guy is super friendly and makes me happy supporting their business.“
“I’ve been going to Perry’s since I was a little girl. On weekends with my family, we used to stop by here together, after perusing through the mall, and would have a nice meal together. The employees were always so friendly and kind each and every time. The quality is always amazing, the portion sizes are huge and generous, and the food is always fresh. I have never been disappointed coming here and despite there being newer locations, this one still has my heart after all this time. Over the past twenty years, the mall has changed a lot and has gone quite downhill. And yet, Perry’s is still the same. I came back here today after not visiting for almost 6 years. As expected, the food was exactly how I remembered. This is such a good spot for Chinese takeout and you really get your bang for your buck (a basic combo is somehow only $10 even in this economy)! Thank you for all the memories and lovely food Perry’s.“
“I purchase lunch/brunch food from China Wok Several times a week. Always consistent and tasty. I highly recommend China Wok !Dietary restrictions: Food is vegan, vegetarian and dietary, also for meat lovers.Parking: Several spots designated for China Wok, but there is always plenty of parking.“
“The food is quite good (I lived in China for 10 years so it's nothing comparable to that) but it is really good for American-style Chinese food. The owner is really friendly and will occasionally add homemade donuts to our order since we tend to place larger orders each time. Overall, good food and great service.“
“First time ordering on 3/3/24, I ordered fried wings and shrimp fried rice! Very delicious and filling. I also ordered nuggets and fries! I was hesitant because how the outside looks but I am so glad I tried the food! I definitely recommend this place!Kid-friendliness: They offer fries and chicken nuggets for kids, and the portions are very generous!“
“This place had some bomb dim sum and Chinese food. My cousins and I went on a random weekday and this place was packed. The shumai, rice crepe, hargow, shrimp dumplings, sweet buns, and other traditional dim sum dishes were on point. I would avoid the Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings. The inside of the XLB's didnt have a lot of meat or soup. Prices are fair and service was really quick. The location itself is very clean and you can order traditional dishes during lunch time as well. Noise level is low and they have seating for large parties. I see why they are voted one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.“
“First time trying this little restaurant on Gunn Highway - very pleasantly surprised. The food is very tasty and we will be returning.Vegetarian options: I ordered the mixed vegetables and they were very tasty and a good variety. Lots of broccoli, snow peas, onions, mushrooms, carrots not the usual baby corn and celery. I asked for a bit of heat to the dish and they were happy to comply.Parking: Easy to park, just pulled up in front of the restaurant. Very easy access.“
“Good for this place! I typically only leave a review if I am unhappy but I wanted this spot to have a good review from me. Crab Rangoons were the best we’ve had in all of Tampa and tasted fresh and homemade. Orange chicken had great flavor and good pricing and portions as well. Overall really good and will be coming back next time we get Chinese!“
“AMAZING! Great food, we ordered Pepper Steak, Moo Goo Gai Pan and Sweet and Sour Pork! Very authentic Chinese and it’s not greasy, it actually tastes healthy and delicious. It’s not the same taste of every Chinese restaurant in the area. Great job!“
“I ordered general Tso's chicken w/ chicken fried rice, boneless spare ribs w/ chicken fried rice and a side order of extra crispy chicken wings and 2 egg rolls . Overall the food was good and very flavorful, the only issue I had was the boneless spare ribs could've had a little more sauce. The chicken was fried to perfection (extra crispy) just how I like and the chicken fried rice and egg rolls were a hit as well. I'll definitely order again“
“Solid neighborhood take-out spot. Good food, unenthusiastic but pleasant service. Typical basic take-out style place but looks clean and inviting. Some things on the menu I can’t find easily elsewhere - like Cold Noodles w Sesame sauce - and they were pretty good, so extra points.“
“I’m from New York been missing that style Chinese food. The rib tips were really good and the shrimp egg rolls were full of flavor. The chicken wings were fried perfectly. The rice was really good. I’d definitely recommend this place to my fellow NYCers who are looking for a Chinese restaurant that’s like back home. Next time I plan on getting the fried half chicken and some tostones. I’m so excited because it’s been a long time since I found a Chinese restaurant that had rib tips, fried half chicken and tostones on the menu. Definitely check them out.“
“Classic American Chinese 10/10I always order on their app and pick it up at the counter and I'm always satisfiedRangoon ratings are separate ratings category not included here, it's a classic rangoon offering but nothing advanced in that regard.“
“I used to go to the one on 50th street, they were Amazing. Then they sold to some people who don't know how to cook Chinese food. I was upset. Then I found out they had another store New Far East from Paul the Plumber. They have the Best Food in Town... 10+++++++ Everyone should go.“
“I am not a Chinese food connoisseur, but this is the best Chinese take-out in the area, I think. Tasty. The prices seem fair in today's economy. I know friends at work always have a good experience. The only deduction in points is the full-figured white guy lounging on the couch when I walked in. He hopped up quickly and moved to the cash register. He wasn't overly friendly- so sorry for interrupting your tv watching! -but did swipe my card & hand me my food. I'm not sure what his stake is in the business- but it's not a good look when customers first walk in. Just my two cents. The other guy in the back was dedicated to cooking. It's definitely a take-out place only!“
“This is the best Chinese food I have found in south Tampa. They don't really have a dining room so it's take out Chinese but food is always hot and good sized portions. The family who runs this are very sweet and the service is great!“
“Staff is always nice and pleasant and the Food is always perfectly done and Affordable. I've Been going here for a few years since before Covid and while most other Asian Restaurants have raised their prices way too High after Covid and don't even keep the same Quality on how they prepare their Food this place has maintained their great Service and Quality. I've moved further away since Covid but still make the Drive back to get Quality Cuisine. Definitely recommend this place.“
“Cool place and fast. I ordered egg drop soup and shrimp chow mein. Unfortunately when I got home I realized their chow mein is cooked with just cabbage and no noodles. I called them and drove over to pick up the Shrimp Lomein, which has soft noodles. They were fast and kind in explaining the difference ;)So if you think their chow mein has noodles, think again!“
“This particular restaurant is pretty much a take out, but extremely mouthwatering food, especially the dumplings and general toast chicken. There's also an Asian supermodel attending you at the front. China Moon, if you're reading this, you need to expand and make a dine in area...“
“This place is a great Chinese take out restaurant. The egg rolls are on point, all the food I've had here has been fantastic this is THE new Chinese take out place fore and my wife. The restaurant is clean and the people are friendly enough.“
“I ordered the pepper steak with noodles, my friend ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice and let me tell you IT WAS SO JUICY. The order came with egg rolls and they were piping hot. I could tell all the food was made fresh to order because we heard them cooking it up in the back for a while and It all tasted very fresh and well seasoned. They’re definitely not stingey with the portions which is nice. I would 10000% recommend and come back again.“
“I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants in the area, this location has the nicest crew I’ve yet experienced. The chicken is always fried to perfection and the rice is cooked really well and not over seasoned. The spring roll is nice and crunchy and the flavor was awesome.“
“Food was delicious and came out quick. We had Pork fried rice with sesame honey chicken and dumplings. We ordered 3 things from menu and got a ton of food. Everyone filled up and was able to take home. They serve lots of food, large portions. Very good and will be back.“
“It would be great if the Guobao Pork could be made more authentic. Referring to the Harbin method, it is recommended to use more white vinegar and less soy sauce to create a unique and spicy taste. The stir-fried green beans and ground three delicacies are stable, and the dishes and taste are good. Especially the eggplant, potatoes, and green peppers in the three delicacies are all charred on the outside and tender on the inside. The dry pot sausage is not on the menu, but it can be made, and the potato chips in it are delicious! This dish is a bit salty, I recommend adding less saltTwice-cooked pork does not have the fishy smell of pork. It is a thicker pork belly. It will be more delicious if it can be sliced thinly and caramelized.Dried tofu with sharp peppers may seem ordinary to those who don’t know Northeastern food, but those who have eaten it locally will find it simple and mellow. It’s a pity that you can’t eat soybean chips made from Northeastern soybeans in a foreign country. It is also a dish with stable taste! You can refill the rice endlessly, each grain is distinct and delicious.Great reviews on lemonade! The water provided by many stores has a peculiar smell, but this one does not. The lemon's refreshing fragrance is just right.I hope the store will explore more on the dishes and create a more authentic Northeastern taste.“
