“My family and I decided to try something new for dinner, and we're so glad we chose this Chinese restaurant. We ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork, Mapo Tofu Combo, Spicy Chicken, Spicy Boiled Beef, and a cucumber salad to share. Every dish had its own unique flavors and was prepared really well. The Sweet & Sour Pork had crispy pieces of pork coated in a perfectly balanced sauce that was tangy, sweet, and incredibly satisfying. The Mapo Tofu Combo was rich and comforting, with silky tofu in a savory, spicy sauce that paired wonderfully with the rice. The Spicy Chicken had a crispy texture and bold seasoning with just the right amount of heat that kept us reaching for another bite. The Spicy Boiled Beef was the standout of the meal, featuring incredibly tender slices of beef in a fragrant chili broth packed with deep, authentic flavors. The cucumber salad added a refreshing, crisp contrast that helped balance the richness and spice of the other dishes.

The restaurant had a clean, welcoming atmosphere with a comfortable dining area that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. “We ordered delivery from Hong Kong a few weeks ago after an exhaustive search for *good* Chinese food. We were really pleasantly surprised at the quality, so we ordered again last night.

This place does not disappoint. We got the Chicken Fried Rice and The Four Seasons, and both dishes were excellent quality. The proteins they use are great quality and you can tell they are using fresh vegetables. They're crisp and perfectly cooked.

You get a lot of food for the price you pay as well. Delivery was on time (a few min early, actually).

This is our new go-to spot for Chinese food. Please keep up the quality, great prices and portions, and friendly service!

“kang's garden is by far one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Tampa. I'm a New Yorker so it's very hard to find really good authentic Chinese food. Kang's garden gets a 10 out of 10. “Was debating between this and Sarku Japan, but the lady handing out free samples swung me to China 88 and I’m glad she did! The chicken is delicious and very meaty. I was concerned the general Tso would be too bready, but it had plenty of meat unlike a certain panda themed Asian chain that sells fried bread with sauce and calls it orange ‘chicken’. The Mongolian chicken (the forked one in the pic lol) was very savory and the sauce had really good flavor. The spicy bourbon had a nice kick to it, but I would’ve liked it more if it was a little spicier. I got the 3 meat plate combo with sautéed veggies as well as 2 sugar biscuits for $18, which I think is a solid deal for what I got. Generous portions and the lady was really nice. I highly recommend checking them out.“

“I can only speak for me. I have been going to Perry's as long as I can remember but I'm never disappointed. I've gone so much that they recognize me. Anytime I go to the food court I always choose them despite other options. Even when the lines are long I still choose them.

I had an excellent experience at China Wok located at 2556 E Bearss Ave in Tampa. I ordered a lunch special and was genuinely impressed—more than plenty of food plus a soda for under $10 is hard to beat these days.

The restaurant itself is very clean, and the live plants throughout the space were such a lovely touch 🪴—they really add to the welcoming atmosphere. My food came out quickly, which I always appreciate, especially during lunchtime.

The fried rice was on point, and the egg roll add-on absolutely hit the spot. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the candy dish for customers—such a small but thoughtful detail that really stood out.

You truly can’t beat the quantity or the quality of the Chinese food being served here. Great value, great food, and a pleasant environment. I’ll definitely be back!

“Coming from NY it was impossible to find comparable street kitchen chinese until I cam across China Taste the only thing that I don't like from here was the steamed dumpling it's not the thick white dough bao like that they make up North. Otherwise the house fried rice was well made not cheaper out like other restaurants do where they fake you out with three baby shrimp on top. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of food the customer service on the phone and even the delivery driver was very respectful and sweet! This is my go to place now!!!“
