“Our usual spot was closed see the wife and I came across Great Wall and we are very happy we did. My bourbon chicken with extra sauce was some of the best bourbon chicken I have ever had. My wife tried something new, beef chow mein. She absolutely loved it. Also, the Krab Rangoon was perfect. We may have found our new Chinese restaurant. Highly recommend giving them a try.“

“Moved here from NJ and having a hard time finding a Chinese restaurant worth going to. This is the best one we've come across so far. The first couple of times the ribs were excellent but the third time they were tough and not worth getting. The other dishes were consistant and good.“

“I don't get to this place often anymore. Years ago I much closer and ordered there frequently. I stopped by again today for the first time in awhile and ordered a beef lomein. It was ready quite fast and was smoking hot even after the drive home.

“The food here is generally really good. The pork fried rice is some of the best rice I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. The egg rolls are really good as well. Most of the bad reviews are just people saying the staff is rude. The only odd thing they do is they only leave out like 5 duck sauces. I feel like i can never get enough duct sauce for the eggs rolls.“

“This is our go-to Chinese takeout place in Clearwater. It reminds me of one of the corner joints I used to frequent when I was a kid in New York City. It’s much better than a lot of of the other local takeout places - they use fresh vegetables and make more from scratch. The prices are very reasonable, given the times. We have a gluten-free person in our household, and the Singapore rice noodles are hit. And there’s plenty of shrimp in the noodles.“

My husband even asked for something not on the menu as he wanted broccoli and tofu and they made it for him, the tofu was done perfectly. “That’s not long ago. I was studying to be a Real Estate Agent and I’m still in the process. However, anytime I was coming home for my first job before I went to school. I will Pass By here pick up my large, portional of rice, on top of getting chicken on the stick with my girlfriend, but when I tell you, their Food always comes out so damn fresh. It’s amazing. I’ve lived in Florida for almost 7 years and I didn’t know this. Gem was here and literally a couple months ago there’s also something else. My girlfriend likes, but I don’t remember but I will say these are one of the friendly people that I’ve met, and they treat me so well. Every time I go. I can recommend anybody who Goes they’re gonna always have a great time and delicious meal. 10 out of 10.“

Our latest order was devoured so fast there’s no pictures. It was my first time getting the egg foo young and it won’t be my last. It was chocked full of veggies. The tofu is always on point and the broccoli with garlic sauce has just the right spice. The homemade hot mustard is kicky and delicious. My husband usually likes the sweet and sour chicken because it’s a good portion and he likes the sweet sauce. This time we tried, doughnuts, spring rolls, sesame tofu, veggie egg foo young, broccoli with garlic sauce and chicken lo mein! We’re soy lucky to have them near!“

Also no broccoli. I thought it normal you get at least a few pieces of broccoli in your Gen Tso. As a whole I enjoyed the food, and would order here again.“

Well I had issues tonight with my driver, nothing the restaurant did, DoorDash drivers just weren’t so kind or accommodating. The lady I spoke to, I believe she’s the owner but I don’t recall - she went above and beyond for me. The food here is incredible and that’s coming from someone who is very picky with how Chinese food is made. Despite all the issues I had, my food came HOT and delicious as usual. “We started ordering from China 88 within the last year & really like it. It's obviously not breaking any new ground, but our orders are always consistent & tasty & prepared quickly. We usually place online order from pick up/take out & practically always get the same thing: Egg Roll, Crab Rangoon or Fried Wontons, Pork Lo Mein, Chicken or House Fried Rice, General Tso's Chicken, & Sesame Chicken or Beef & Broccoli. I know, pretty basic, but it's reliable & we've never had any issues.“

“So, in the past the food has been hit or miss for flavor and quality, as well as service.

But I gotta say our order from Thursday was down right amazing. You know how the Chinese food hit so well in the 90s and early 2000s? THAT was what we got to enjoy that night. Even our oldest said it was tasty and soft and was surprised where it was from. Even told them that this kind of flavor and texture is what we've been trying to find again for Years.

When I couldn't understand him and asked to speak to someone who could speak better English he hung up on me! How rude!
