“First time ordering food at China Garden. Most of the other establishments were closed, since it was a holiday. I'm very much impressed with their pork fried rice. I can always tell if the rice is in-house made or factory pre-made. Definitely in-house and was very good!! The Shrimp & veggies were delicious and nice size shrimp. My kids always want the beef & broccoli, delicious 😋. The crab rangoon was good, as well with the pork chow mein. Nice size portions, and we will definitely be back! Thank you, great job guys!!!“

I got the plate..you get two entree's.

For my first entree The bejing beef is simply heaven!

For my second entree I got the hot orange chicken.
I Wasn't that impressed. Not spicy at all
But that's just me.

As always the lo mein noodles a spot on perfect.

“We have visited here in the past when it was Nigori Sushi. Great place then also. This has switched to Chinese food. No sushi is offered now. The food is very good! We ordered crab rangoon, chicken with cashews. Staff was very polite and our order came quickly. We ordered a glass of Chardonnay $10 but gracious pour. It's was a little warm inside but maybe air was out. It was very hot today. Great experience, will try again!“

“This is our go-to take out spot. In fact the only place we’ll go for Chinese (burned by another local spot with some pretty sad food on a day this place was closed). We usually get the beef with broccoli, orange chicken, and chicken lo mien. It’s solid every time. The hot and sour soup is also pretty good.“

“This is our go-to Chinese takeout place in Clearwater. It reminds me of one of the corner joints I used to frequent when I was a kid in New York City. It’s much better than a lot of of the other local takeout places - they use fresh vegetables and make more from scratch. The prices are very reasonable, given the times. We have a gluten-free person in our household, and the Singapore rice noodles are hit. And there’s plenty of shrimp in the noodles.“

This is a whole lot of food for the money! All white thin sliced chicken. Lots of veggies. And, the sauce is delicious!

They were both helpful with choosing an item (I wanted a spicy chicken dish with the most veggies) and very friendly service!

The establishment is very clean. The employees were neat and tidy. That kinda thing really matters to me.

If you haven’t been here before sure to give it a try. Lunch specials are 8.88 you’re not losing much if it isn’t for you but I’m sure you will be pleasantly surprised, as was I.“

“The food is great here! Best chinese takeout I've had in the area so far compared to two others. Their food is fresh tasting and made with care. I recommend the shrimp lo mein or the orange chicken. Only thing is, the 'regular' portion is extremely small. Make sure to get the large size if you're really hungry.“

“Previously we went to the restaurant at 730 pm and the doors were locked. Google said it was open until 9 pm. The restaurant door posted 8pm. I wonder which is correct!!!
Came back a few weeks later and they have new hours and the Open sign was turned on. We like the food here. Give it a try.“

Also they never refuse an order no matter how close to closing time it is. I will always go here above any other place close to my house“

“Great little place for take out. Always busy. Ordering online has a notes area for specific changes so it's as easy to order there as to call. They are fast and consistently good. My favorite treat is to buy 8 more fortune cookies for $1.25.“

“I would just like to take a moment to acknowledge how great the customer service is here. I order from here often, usually through DoorDash. Well I had issues tonight with my driver, nothing the restaurant did, DoorDash drivers just weren’t so kind or accommodating. The lady I spoke to, I believe she’s the owner but I don’t recall - she went above and beyond for me. The food here is incredible and that’s coming from someone who is very picky with how Chinese food is made. Despite all the issues I had, my food came HOT and delicious as usual. Look I really wanted to like this place. Came in after a long day at work — and just needed some simple Chinese food to hit the spot.
The Beef Chow Ho Fun and egg rolls were honestly disappointing. The food just didn't deliver the way I was hoping. Flavors were off and the quality felt questionable at best.
The lady at the counter had absolutely zero interest in being there and it showed in every single interaction.
Won't be back.

“Good food portions, reasonably priced. Labeled Japanese but closer to Chinese? Doesn’t have all your traditional Chinese menu items but then also has sushi rolls. A little different spin on some things but in a positive way. Definitely recommend. And order ahead and use the drive thru for pick up, so nice!“

I’d recommend for a quick bite if you like dive type restaurants for to-go food only. There is no indoor seating, and the interior is pretty run down, but not a bad experience“
