So far all of the dishes that I have ordered have been fresh and not greasy or oily. The flavor is good and the service is quick. They have all of your staple items and despite being busy quite often, always do their best to get your food done on time.“

“I’ve been getting takeout from here, off and on, for years. Usually, it’s just okay. Quality seemed inconsistent. However, today was different. Everything was so much better. I usually do not get my favorite, shrimp and lobster, because the shrimp tastes old or over cooked. Tonight was different. It was so good. Cooked perfectly and had a wonderful garlic taste. “My family and I decided to try something new for dinner, and we're so glad we chose this Chinese restaurant. We ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork, Mapo Tofu Combo, Spicy Chicken, Spicy Boiled Beef, and a cucumber salad to share. Every dish had its own unique flavors and was prepared really well. The Sweet & Sour Pork had crispy pieces of pork coated in a perfectly balanced sauce that was tangy, sweet, and incredibly satisfying. The Mapo Tofu Combo was rich and comforting, with silky tofu in a savory, spicy sauce that paired wonderfully with the rice. The Spicy Chicken had a crispy texture and bold seasoning with just the right amount of heat that kept us reaching for another bite. The Spicy Boiled Beef was the standout of the meal, featuring incredibly tender slices of beef in a fragrant chili broth packed with deep, authentic flavors. The cucumber salad added a refreshing, crisp contrast that helped balance the richness and spice of the other dishes.

The restaurant had a clean, welcoming atmosphere with a comfortable dining area that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. “Writing down this review because im a picky eater and I keep forgetting what I like. Honey chicken is sweet in sour chicken (deep fried in a tempura batter) tossed in a sweet sauce. I'm not a fan of the bourbon chicken (got it years ago and never tried it again since); the mongolian chicken is stir fried. Orange, sesame, and general tso chicken uses the same chicken base (dark meat chicken with lots of nooks and crannies for the sauce to hold to); orange sauce is sweet and spicy, sesame is not sweet and doesnt rely on sesame oil (which i like), and general tso is not sweet and mostly a spicy chili sauce (either there was a different dish that was sweet and spicy or this dish got less sweet over time). Lo mein is in the takeout containers while chow mein is in a plastic container and is very wet. Mixed vegetables are served in a dark sauce.“

“We ordered delivery from Hong Kong a few weeks ago after an exhaustive search for *good* Chinese food. We were really pleasantly surprised at the quality, so we ordered again last night.

This place does not disappoint. We got the Chicken Fried Rice and The Four Seasons, and both dishes were excellent quality. The proteins they use are great quality and you can tell they are using fresh vegetables. They're crisp and perfectly cooked.

You get a lot of food for the price you pay as well. Delivery was on time (a few min early, actually).

This is our new go-to spot for Chinese food. Please keep up the quality, great prices and portions, and friendly service!

All of the favorable reviews were spot-on. Service was great (only 4 tables occupied at the time I was there). My English “Chicken Soup Hot Bowl, little bit spicy” got me exactly what I wanted except a spoon. I chop-stocked my way through it and drank the broth from a bowl like I was at home!

Great meal, rice noodles were super fresh as was the vegetables and the quail egg was a nice touch.

“Honestly don't judge a book by its cover, this has been probably the best Chinese food place I have had in Tampa after trying dozens.. There Beef was actually beef and not like all the other bs.. Rice and veggies were fresh and good with flavor! Hot and sour soup has been the best one I found so far also! Hands down they got me as a customer now!
Finally a Chinese spot with beef that isn't gross and chewy... They had the real deal!

“I can only speak for me. I have been going to Perry's as long as I can remember but I'm never disappointed. I've gone so much that they recognize me. Anytime I go to the food court I always choose them despite other options. Even when the lines are long I still choose them.

I had an excellent experience at China Wok located at 2556 E Bearss Ave in Tampa. I ordered a lunch special and was genuinely impressed—more than plenty of food plus a soda for under $10 is hard to beat these days.

The restaurant itself is very clean, and the live plants throughout the space were such a lovely touch 🪴—they really add to the welcoming atmosphere. My food came out quickly, which I always appreciate, especially during lunchtime.

The fried rice was on point, and the egg roll add-on absolutely hit the spot. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the candy dish for customers—such a small but thoughtful detail that really stood out.

You truly can’t beat the quantity or the quality of the Chinese food being served here. Great value, great food, and a pleasant environment. I’ll definitely be back!

Although I have been eating at Panda Express since the early 2000s, I had never even heard about the Panda Express app until Makristine introduced me to it. She didn’t simply tell me it existed—she personally helped me find it in the App Store, patiently walked me through downloading it, showed me how to use it, and made sure I was comfortable with it before I left. That kind of personalized customer service is almost unheard of today.
