Dumplings, Steamed Shrimp with seasoned veggies, Fried rice with Chicken, Beef, or Shrimp. Egg rolls are fantastic. I've never gotten sick from eating here“

“Ordered for pick up Mongolian beef, steak and onions comes with white rice for both and dumplings. One thing was that the food was still hot despite picking it up late. Flavor was there, its just portion wise there was more veggie than meat in the first dish. But overall happy with food and service.“

“Writing down this review because im a picky eater and I keep forgetting what I like. Honey chicken is sweet in sour chicken (deep fried in a tempura batter) tossed in a sweet sauce. I'm not a fan of the bourbon chicken (got it years ago and never tried it again since); the mongolian chicken is stir fried. Orange, sesame, and general tso chicken uses the same chicken base (dark meat chicken with lots of nooks and crannies for the sauce to hold to); orange sauce is sweet and spicy, sesame is not sweet and doesnt rely on sesame oil (which i like), and general tso is not sweet and mostly a spicy chili sauce (either there was a different dish that was sweet and spicy or this dish got less sweet over time). Lo mein is in the takeout containers while chow mein is in a plastic container and is very wet. Mixed vegetables are served in a dark sauce.“

“A solid little Chinese restaurant in a strip mall. I am so happy it is around the corner from me. I am actually picky and this one does not disappoint . No MSG in its food which is big for me. Also the chicken chow mein was just right with lots of chicken. Very generous 1 qt portion. The crispy noodles were not greasy. In other words this place knows what it's doing for good Street Fare Chinese. The people are helpful and courteous too. Other than that the shrimp is WAYYY TOO SMALL AND thats why they don’t get 5 stars. They may not be using saffron to make rice yellow but my other spot does. You can taste the difference in the rice. I have not found good Chinese food since leaving NY and it was refreshing to see spare ribs and plain fried rice on a menu out here in Tampa. I dogged my food down it was so good. Forgot to take a picture. My husband ordered General Tso’s and also enjoyed his meal. This will be our official spot moving forward. Definitely want to try the four piece chicken wings next!“

“For takeout Chinese food, this is our absolute go to location. Our order is almost always ready within 20 minutes, it's fresh, piping hot, and delicious. And, the price is reasonable. When you walk in, the cook station is in sight, so, not only can you watch them cook your food, you can see the stations are clean, and we'll maintained. They have some of the best egg rolls and rangoons ever! We usually go with sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and extras. They also always include steamed white rice with your meal.“

“China 1 has been my go-to Chinese takeout spot for at least 13 years. I’ve lived in different parts of the area over that time, and I’ll gladly drive past two other Chinese restaurants just to order from here.

The food is always consistent, which is honestly one of the most important things with takeout. Every time we order, it tastes just as good as the last time. Orders are also ready incredibly fast, which makes it perfect when you just want to grab dinner without waiting forever.

The staff has always been very friendly whenever we come in, and the whole process is quick and easy. For Chinese takeout, it’s simply one of the best around.

It’s also pretty easy to get in and out of the plaza, which makes pickup simple. But the real reason to go is the food — the quality is noticeably better than most other places nearby.

I ordered dumplings (steamed and fried) with sweet and sour chicken combo! the dumplings were very good, the chicken in them tasted fresh and it was more meat than vegetable. the fried dumplings just weren't thrown in a fryer they were pan fried! the egg roll that came with my dinner also tasted fresh and didn't taste like old oil or just cabbage which was nice. the pork fried tasted fresh and no rice was crunchy or old. the sweet and sour chicken was good, the chicken pieces were a good size and not all dough with minimal chicken. the sauce was a little light on flavor but besides that it was GREAT. i also did a pick up and the restaurant was very clean! props to the owners! much enjoyed“
