“Sometimes, a change of plans turns into the best surprise. We originally intended to visit a different BBQ spot, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it didn't work out. My son was shipping out for the Navy the very next day, and all he wanted for his send-off meal was good BBQ. He stumbled across Kojak’s, and I am so glad we landed here!

Knowing they’ve been family-owned since the 70s sets the stage, but the staff—who are the family themselves—truly made the experience. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home like we were part of their own family.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. I had the pulled pork dinner with mac 'n' cheese and parsley potatoes, and every single bite was incredible. In fact, everything was so good that we actually kept going back to order more! We finished the meal with their fresh apple cake for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending.

I cannot recommend Kojak’s highly enough, and I already can't wait to come back. Don't sleep on this place—they will not disappoint. My only regret is that we didn't discover it sooner!”

“Joshua, Aneka, and another employee working that shift forgot his name had Magnificat service. Our ADT clients came in for lunch with over 30 orders and took care of us. Had us in and out and everyone order was correct!!! Thank you for taking great care of our clients even during the lunch hours having us in and out! We will definitely use yall again but give a heads up before coming during rush hour/ lunch”

“One of my top favorite spots to eat for lunch. But recently someone else has taken over and named it big mikes tacos. I miss nachos tacos with that being said. Big mikes tacos isn’t bad just not as delicious as nachos and I’m unsure where the location in Tampa have went.”

“Finally we have a place to get good fish. It is like a drive through but we do eat inside. Their bassa, oysters & shrimp are great. They also have Greek food such as gyros & shawarmas. We generally go twice a week.”

“I always order the pork empanadas here and they're very good. Today i ordered pork, ham and cheese empanadas and i was disappointed. Although the pork it's good, it's ripped in long pieces and when you take a bite you pull most of the pork out. Also, the ham and cheese it's almost inexistent, so it's basically a roasted pork empanada. I told them about it and they didn't even asked if i wanted something different.”

I mean it's a food truck... but the food is F%$king Unbelievably amazing!!! Like I cannot express in words how good this food was... ypu could tel it was super fresh !! Crab ragoon was the special and I mean this .. it was probably the BEST one I have EVER had !!!!! It's so good I'm bout to order me another order Togo.!! The sauce they dip the ragoon in ... just ugh ... soooo good!!! If ypur in the area I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this food truck on property! UNBELIEVABLE!!!”

“Went here on 04/02/26 and they were nice, they are fluent in Spanish but can understand English so you can order gringo style. I had a asada burrito 🌯 and carnitas tacos 🌮🌮 with a pineapple and kiwi agua fresca. Burrito was awesome. Come with lettuce and tomato rice beans and sour cream. Hot sauces are great too. Standard verde and roja. Tacos were fantastic. Mexican style with cilantro and cebolla (onion). Served with lime. Agua fresca was huge, serve in a Togo container and had pineapple and kiwi bits in it. Not too much but enough to know it’s fresh. Great experience. Burrito was $9 and the tacos are $2.75 a piece. Agua fresca was $5.50. Worth it. If you pay with card there’s tax but I paid cash and paid only $20. 🤷 As someone who frequents taco trucks this place gets an A from me. Good prices and great food. Would recommend. Oh, and google maps says it’s cash only but they take card and you can tap. I tried to suggest an edit but there no where to edit that bit of info.”

“Ordered for pick up Mongolian beef, steak and onions comes with white rice for both and dumplings. One thing was that the food was still hot despite picking it up late. Flavor was there, its just portion wise there was more veggie than meat in the first dish. But overall happy with food and service.”
