“Not your typical plaza sushi place. Everything tasted fresh and you can tell they make their roles very uniquely and put a little spin on the typical roll. I like the spice level in the rolls and they have them marked pretty well in the menu, which ones are spicey. Interior is little dated, but was clean and service was good.”

“The food is always amazing! I came in and I got a server I have had before, but not often. Maybe one other time? I think she’s newer is why. I come in somewhat regularly. Maybe once, sometimes a couple of times a month. Anyway I sit down and she immediately recognized me as a tea drinker, which I am. She remembered that I had a unsweetened tea last time I was in. I was floored! She says servers don’t get many customers ordering tea. I was still impressed! She even came up with a suggestion to try the works omelette as a frittata next time. She was outstanding! Some of the best service I have had in a while. I usually get pretty good service when I actually go out to eat, which hasn’t been that common lately. I’ll make sure to ask for this wonderful server next time. Her name is Sydney, by the way. I look forward to sitting in her section again soon.”

“Had a decent overall experience going to Longhorn celebrating our anniversary. The hostess was kind and courteous and had us seated fairly quickly. The server was kind but checked in somewhat sporadically, although the place wasn't overly crowded it appeared there were very few servers so she was quite busy.

Food was overall decent. I thought their prices were overall reasonable and the flavors were good enough. I got the ribeye and they cooked it nicely but didn't leave me wowed. My wife got a parmesan crusted filet which she thoroughly enjoyed. Sides were good but not great.

Overall a decent dining experience. Probably wouldn't go back in favor of trying other places but definitely not a bad option if you're looking for a steakhouse in the area.”

I ventured away from my usual Thai Bowl and tried the Big Italy with crispy chicken and spaghetti squash. Dang…was it good! Portions were sufficient, well-prepared and proudly served. This selection might just become my favorite at Cali’s. Granted, the staff consists of young adults who are, in the least, committed to going to work to earn their pay. Their attitude is encouraging. Some of the comments posted may not be fair. One has to allow opportunity for on-the-spot redress of an actual or perceived wrong (the menu is self-explanatory or can be clarified by simply asking). No matter - this was not our first time at Cali’s and definitely not the last. We look forward to our next visit and selections. Thank you … Zoey (and staff) for another great “Cali experience!””

“If you love snapper, this is definitely a place I would recommend checking out. For the price, the portion size of the snapper is absolutely perfect, and the flavor is amazing. Every time I’ve ordered it, the snapper has been the highlight of the meal.

The only area I think could use a little improvement is the sides. I normally order the black beans, beans, or lentils, and the portions can sometimes feel a little small. On a couple of occasions, it seemed like I received more broth or soup than actual beans.

That being said, overall this is still a very solid place to eat. They have several other good menu options, but the snapper is definitely my favorite. If you’re a snapper lover and want a great portion with excellent flavor at a reasonable price, this is a place I would absolutely recommend.”

“Cookies are such an American staple. I found their Smores Skillet cookie to be the best one I tried. I've heard that people sleep on their cakes, and that's a mistake. They have, hands down, one of the best Strawberry Short cakes I've tried. The rest of the cookies I got we meh. I wouldn't come back for them.

The shop itself is super cute and quaint. I like that it's self service, however the staff should take a look at the cleanliness of the foyer. The floor was visibly dirty and neglected on my visit. Sometimes it's out of sight, out of mind, but the customer can see it all.

The people were friendly but seemed to be busy, so I guess that's a good thing for a business. Overall, I liked my order but the experience and cookies were pretty satisfying but average.”

“Listen it's Applebee's however, we came in pretty late after a local high school graduation with a party of 14. We were not the only large party in attendance by the way. Our server, Jason was absolutely amazing accommodating and patient with our group which consisted of all age groups. The food was OK, because hey, it's Applebee's (no offense) but the service was top notch. People like Jason make the world go round, people like Jason make the world easier to navigate. Everyone is so welcoming and the food is delicious! Special fist bumps go out to Amaya, Jackie, Lisa, Ary, T, Liz, and the Boss! But they are all super nice! My favorites include the Bananas Foster French Toast, the Baja Chicken Omelette, and the Creme Brûlée French Toast! They have healthy options too, which I have now started to order! :) I will occasionally bring a friend to dine here and will always bring my sister when she visits from Rhode Island. “As the partner of a born & raised Kingston man, I now eat a LOT of JM food. Admittedly, my palate has not been exposed to authentic cuisine, on the island, (yet), and only recently have I become a "connoisseur in training" of Jamaican Cuisine. So, here's my non professional newbie opinion.😆I ordered the Jerk Chicken meal (meals come w/ 2 sides), Brown Stew Chicken meal, a side of Jerk Pork, and side of Jerk Chicken for my kid. Total cost was $55. The meal portions were large enough to split into two meals, even with my guy's LARGE appetite. The non-meal orders were also big! My sides were rice & peas, he had cabbage with his and said it was good. The pork is sooo tender, juicy, and tastes better than all of the places I've tried thus far. The brown stew chicken was flavorful, tender and delicious, better than the places I've tried. I'd 100% order them again. The Jerk Chicken was good, but hard to enjoy after tasting the first two. Service was friendly, and fast. They have covered, outdoor seating in case you want to dig in on site. My guy approved and so do I. We both agreed Junior’s Tasty Delights made the list of places we'd be back to. I'm thinking about ordering the Pork for lunch as I write this lol.”

The food is always consistent, which is honestly one of the most important things with takeout. Every time we order, it tastes just as good as the last time. Orders are also ready incredibly fast, which makes it perfect when you just want to grab dinner without waiting forever.
